So called manager and owner Abhay is a goon what type of attitude and facilities he and his gang talked about haven't saw on the ground.Even a clerk is having better mannerand behaviour but here Sri Guest House one can't find anything.The rating complaint about the lodge tell about their standard and approch towards guests. One can see in the eyes on staff and manager what level of cannabis they consume on a day. Don't waste your money over here , surely get better deals on other locations,where staff know how to behave!

It's the worst place I had ever booked for my stay anywhere in India. There's no such thing as riverview....no room service....no towels....no soap. Tha stairs are almost verticle....very dangerous and if you have knee problem, then you are doomed. The rooms are dirty and the loo is the worst with broken toilet seat. It's better to stay on the street under a tree than here.

Don't get fooled by misleading photos. It is not as seems in photos. Rooms are too small. Bed takes 90% of the space in room. No lockers or cupboards. No housekeeping or room service. They dont even provide water. Hotel is on dashshwedh ghat. You will have to walk from godolia chowk as most of the time road is closed because of crows. Hotel is not suitable for elderly people two many steep steps. Not good for people having knee issues. Also for some rooms they have shared bathroom which outside of the room so please check that before booking. Also they charge whopping amount if you want switch or upgrade the room. Toilets are not clean. No housekeeping or cleaning done.

Shri guest house is a wonderful venue at the main ghat. One can see the divine view of the evening ceremony ( Ganga aarti) from the rooftop restaurant. A cosy spot to view the Aarti

The location is 5 stars. Right at the ghat. It takes forever for the food to be prepared. So I suggest not to eat here if you are on the clock. Taste & cleanliness 3.5. Rooms are clean but too small. 2 stars going by the cost / benefit. Staff behaviour is friendly and they will guide you to places you want to visit. This is not a typical hotel. Very narrow and steep stairs to the rooms. There is no lift. You will have to go 3 floors equivalent to reach the rooms. 4 floors for the kitchen.

Nice location bt it not for elderly people because they are 60 steep stairs bt otherwise it's good place to stay

I want to give negative star, negative feedback. Don't stay here. Suffocation room. Rudely behavior staff and owner. 4th and 5th floor room.

We had dinner at the resteraunt. The food was delicious, incredible view and they serve beer! You can even see the aarti ceremony from the resteraunt and rooftop. The owner was very lovely to us and we had a great night.

The guest house is situated at main ghat (Dashaswamedh Ghat) evening Ganga ceremony sight . They make sure your fantastic stay in the guest house. serve delicious food at our rooftop restaurant with the panoramic view of ghats along with all activities at Ganga ghats . They have cozy & comfortable rooms. our staffs are friendly and professional . You may collect all information about Varanasi and fulfil your needs for travel at their place ..

Best hotel but i had face some problem.. facility not according to price... Food also not good they serve food without water and salad.. This hotel is situated on ganga river bank on dashmeshvar ghat. Roop top restaurant available but only 2 table capacity, maximum 10 people seat there. Room was clean & wash room also good with geyser.

Just I need party in new year . they directly say indian person in cafe are not allowed and also they give cold coffee not even cold the cold coffee without ice and without serum . I haven't tried food but my friend get sick he vomit all over the russian sit under the cafe...

My experience is an overall excellent one! Already before coming the owner was very responsive to my questions and the pick-up from airport and even the escorting for the last meters worked perfectly. The room was the cleanest I have seen so far (even with soap and toilet paper) and it also had some decorative items like beautiful lamp and wall painting. Also, I was asked proactively after the 2nd day of I wanted my sheets to be changed. All staff was at all times very friendly and helpful. Yes, it was also the smallest and most expensive room I’ve been in but I noticed that in Varanasi in general the price level is higher than in other cities. And the location ist just PERFECT! You’re in the middle of everything - and yes: the view from the roof top is wonderful! I’d definitely recommend this place to my friends and would come again. Thank you for your lovely hospitality!

Very bad behaviour . I juts call on the given number the person is taking like he is doing favour on me ‘ and think once if someone is treating on phne in such bad way definitely they won’t treat good after checking . Bhai mat lo ye hotel

Everything is nice, courteous staff great rooms and exceptionally good mattresses. just you have to climb up the stairs which isn't a bad thing, depends on yoir perspective.

Horrible place. Took my iphone charger and didn’t give. Also no bill provided. I am legally proceeding. GST violation.

All over good ,but due to shortage of staff it is difficult for them to look after properly all the guests.
