This temple is located in the outside of Varanasi. But I have to admit that this is one of the most beautiful temple in India. The place is green and clear and we'll maintained. The temple is shining brightly. The monuments are gorgeous and piece of wonderful art. There is no entry fees and you have to maintain social distance and have to wear mask. There are also very buautiful shops just outside the temple at the cheapest price

Sarnath is a half-hour drive from varanasi. You can reach Sarnath by auto, bus or train from varanasi. There are believers from around the world. The monks who visit are given away by the colour of their robes. Saffron robes are favoured by Indian monk's, brown ones are typically worn by Thai monk's, red robes suggest a Tibetan background and almost purple robes are of Myanmar monk's. Wat thai temple is a very famous and religious place for Thai monk's also a great visiting spot for tourists. The Hinayana Buddha temple was built by Thai dignitaries in 1933. It also has thai design's. There is a statue of laughing Buddha just before the main thai temple and on the right side is an enactment of Buddha delivering a sermon to his disciples. A huge standing Buddha statue is on the left side of the temple and towers over 80m. There are running fountains with blooming lotus before reaching the statue. It's free of cost and timing are from sunrise to sunset.

Wat Thai Sarnath Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a Thai-style temple and one of the few international Buddhist temples in the area. The temple is situated in a peaceful and serene environment and is surrounded by lush green gardens. The temple was built in 2004 by the Thai Monks Association, and it is dedicated to Lord Buddha. The temple is known for its beautiful architecture, which combines traditional Thai and Indian styles. The main attraction of the temple is the golden-colored Buddha statue, which is around six feet tall and is located in the main prayer hall. The temple complex is spread over an area of two acres and includes several buildings, prayer halls, and meditation rooms. The temple also has a large dining hall where visitors can enjoy traditional Thai food. The temple's gardens are well-maintained and feature various flowers and trees, making it a peaceful and serene place for meditation and reflection. Wat Thai Sarnath Temple also conducts various Buddhist ceremonies and festivals throughout the year. One of the most significant events is the annual Magha Puja ceremony, which is celebrated in February or March. The ceremony commemorates the day when 1,250 of the Buddha's disciples gathered spontaneously to hear him preach. The temple also offers classes in Buddhist teachings and meditation to visitors who are interested in learning more about Buddhism. These classes are conducted by the resident monks, who are fluent in Thai and English. Wat Thai Sarnath Temple attracts a large number of Thai visitors and pilgrims, but it is also popular among locals and tourists from other countries. The temple's peaceful and serene environment makes it an ideal place for relaxation and contemplation, and visitors can experience a slice of Thai culture and spirituality in the heart of India. In conclusion, Wat Thai Sarnath Temple is a beautiful and serene temple that offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience Thai culture and spirituality in India. Its beautiful architecture, well-maintained gardens, and peaceful environment make it an ideal destination for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

One of the many temples of Lord Buddha, the Wah Thai Temple in Sarnath, this place also has a temple, 90 feet Buddha statue and has beautiful lotus pond. It has a dark buddha also. Located around 16 kms from Varanasi. It's worth a visit.

Beautiful Buddhist temple in Thai architecture. You can see lots of Buddhist monks nearby as this is the main worship place in this park although there is giant Buddhist statue besides this temple. There are two statue of Buddha. Center statue is big and small statue just beside. There are also four Buddha statue near the entrance.

It is a Thai-style temple. Temple is glowing brightly. The temple complex includes several buildings, prayer halls, meditation rooms, and a large dining hall. Monuments are magnificent and piece of amazing art. Four Buddha statue adorn the complex e.g., 80 feet tall Buddha is in a standing position; laughing Buddha in front of main temple and an enactment of Buddha delivering a sermon to his disciples; and golden- colored Buddha. Environment of temple is peaceful, serene, and full of rich green gardens. Place is clean and well maintained with fountains and blooming lotus. Gardens feature various flowers and trees! There is no entry fee.

What is Buddha famous saying? Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth. Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

Thai temple is a good place to visit in Sarnath. one can find peace and explore different culture in budh monastery. apartments are also there, monks live in there and worship here. Front door of the temple was not open due to covid restrictions i think but monks allow us to enter the temple from side entrance.
