Ganga Mahal Ghat is named after a palation building of ex. Maharaja of Banaras to wards the north cease of Assi Ghat. Infact Ghat has a little cultural significance besides the Beautiful carvings depiction the Rajput and nearby architectural grandeur of 16th century. Ganga Mahal Ghat is one of the principal ghats at the Ganges River in Varanasi. Constructed in 1830 CE through the Narayan dynasty, the ghat is north of Assi Ghat and turned into at first constructed as an extension to Assi Ghat.
