You may become emotional when you visit this place. Here nothing more is there except for the рдореВрд░реНрддрд┐ of рдордиреБ, рдордиреА рдХрд░реНрдгрд┐рдХрд╛ And a short history about her in written as well as in pictorial form. The famous poem is also available there. Im posting the photo. The surrounding area is a bit congested and drivimg a vehicle is a bit difficult. Very well maintained but still there are many things which can be done here. Do visit here if you are in Kashi.

The place is quite historical and emotional....You are going to be proud of the history of your country....as you visit this site....this site is strongly dedicated to the great warrior queen of our country Jhansi ki Rani....Rani Laxmi Bai....She is also known by her childhood names Manikarnika and Manu....This place beautifully depicts the short but celebrated life of the queen in form of pictures....which are quite emotional....It is situated in Varanasi district's Shivala region through a camp of my team....must visit site....the poem on the wall reminds her legendary life....

Banaras being flooded right now exploring the back lanes make for an amazing trip down memory lane! The incredible history hidden behind the little lanes is breathtaking. Beautiful memorial to Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and its poignant. Would definitely recommend.

This is said to be built at the place of birth of one of IndiaтАЩs greatest and bravest freedom fighters of 1857 first freedom fight. A statue of the queen riding her horse with risen sword is built there. Major events of her life are also depicted on the surrounding wall. A must visit for Indian patriots. To visit this monument one can go to assi ghat and walk for 4-5 minutes from there. The only negative point is it is bit difficult to find.

Birthplace of Rani Laxmibai, Bhadaini, Varanasi..тЩея╕П Rani Laxmibai was a great warrior and had an important contribution in the freedom struggle of 1857. We have also always heard the name of the city of Jhansi with Rani Laxmibai but she was born here in Varanasi. This memorial has been built in her memory in Bhadaini area of тАЛтАЛVaranasi where important moments of her life are depicted. It is absolutely free to enter here and it is well maintained. By coming here you can know about the many more things about the life of Rani Laxmibai.ЁЯЩП

DescriptionLakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi, was an Indian queen of the Maratha princely state of Jhansi in North India currently present in Jhansi district in Uttar Pradesh, India. She was one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and became a symbol of resistance to the British Raj for Indian nationalists. god рдУрдл U P

Situated near Assi Ghat this historic compound is the birth place of Rani Laxmi-Bai (The famous freedom fighter & great warrior). She was born in 1835. This memorable spot has been renovated lately and now there is a golden statue of the Rani and the boundary walls narrates the major events from the life time of the Queen. Now it is well maintained.

A very underrated place which is not visited by many but deserves a visit. A huge statue of Rani Laxmibai with her horse is here. You can also light up the Akhand Jyoti which is kept over there. The famous poem "Khoob Ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi" is written on the side walls of the place. Major events related to the life of Rani Laxmibai are also portrayed on the walls nearby. A very energetic place to stop by near Assi Chauraha and the famous Pappu ki chai ki dukan.

My guide took me here when he found out I liked photography. I'm glad he did as I wouldn't have found it on my own, despite the place only being a few minutes walk from Assi Ghat. The courtyard features a beautiful statue of Rani Laxmi Bai. If you visit, do take time to read the plaque below the statue, it tells her story up until her death in 1858. The courtyard area dedicated to her is kept relatively clean, although the surrounding alleyways are not. There was no fee to enter.

(Translated by Google) Nice place Lakshmibai was born on 19 November 1828 in Varanasi. Her childhood name was Manikarnika but affectionately called Manu. His mother's name was Bhagirathibai and father's name was Moropant Tambe. Moropant was a Marathi and was in the service of Maratha Bajirao. Mata Bhagirathibai was a cultured, intelligent and pious year when her mother died. Because there was no one to take care of Manu in the house, father started taking Manu with him to the court of Peshwa Bajirao II. Where the playful and beautiful Manu affectionately called him "Chhabili". In childhood, Manu took up the education of scriptures as well as weapons. [2] In 1842, she was married to the Maratha-ruled King Gangadhar Rao Navalkar of Jhansi and she became the queen of Jhansi. After marriage, he was named Laxmibai. In 1851, Rani Lakshmibai gave birth to a son. But he died at the age of four months. In 1853, when King Gangadhar Rao's health deteriorated greatly, he was advised to adopt an adopted son. Raja Gangadhar Rao died on 21 November 1853 after adopting a son. The adopted son was named Damodar Rao. British Raj filed a case against the child Damodar Rao in the court as part of his state usurpation policy. Although there was a lot of debate in the case, it was dismissed. British authorities seized the state's treasury and issued a decree to deduct her husband's debt from the Queen's annual expenses. As a result, the queen had to leave the fort of Jhansi and go to the Ranimahal of Jhansi. But Rani Lakshmibai did not lose courage and in every case decided to protect the Jhansi kingdom.
