The park area is very nice to spend a beautiful evening.

Overall a good spacious park right in the centre of city near Visheshawarganj. During Durga Puja, huge Pandal is set up here every year. During the Durga Puja, this place experiences heavy crowd. One can enjoy the major charm of this place during Durga Puja. On the other days it is open to public, and many a times being used a PAC base camp.

Awsome place but lacking greenary

This place was "once a park". Now it's something not a park at all. It's inside an oval shaped boundary which has a big "open" garbage dumping ground and other side is a road, always crowded and thus, petrol diesel smoke in the air almost all the time. Nowadays, even the entrance to the park couldn't be found; meaning, not visible normally. Un-breathable smell both sides makes this place 'not a park'.

Machhodari Park is just another park in Varanasi near to Rajghat. There is nothing exceptional about this park, except that you can spend some quite time in the middle of the nature. When we went there in 2017, garbage was scattered all over the place. Varanasi administration should take a note of this and maintain it properly, recently I visited this place again in 2021 then I saw lots of homeless people started living around the Park which annoyed me, some of them also started to begging. I don't know what to say but Park is still amazing.

Mahadev...! Machodari Park is very exciting and well known park 3-4 years ago but from 3-4 years don't able to understand for what the construction work going on...! 3-4 years ago all youngsters used to play cricket and football at morning and evening time but due to construction work all stopped...! But, here is a beautiful pond with goats always here and there bothering you...! It also comes with a water tank by which the water needs of the people living nearby satisfied... And here comes a long tower or this is the PAANI TANKI itself in which you can climb and see the half of the varanasi(I think) that moment will be fantastic...! Another big problem is that it is surrounded by below poverty slum peoples who also used to come here which is not appreciated by me (wait they came here to do illegal activities like smoking, drinking, etc that's why).. And the best part is that there is Durga Pooja pandal at once in a year which looks very preety I thought that for this the construction work took place and it takes longer than one year 😁...! So thank you for reading the whole...! 😊

At the backyard of Raja Birla Hospital Machhodari park spread across acres of land. Misuse by local ppl and poor maintenance by municipal corporation made this beautiful park a filthy place. Heroin addicts and gamblers use this park to hide themselves. In the middle of the park there is a huge pond. Unfortunately, local bodies never bother to clean this pond. This park is used by local Ramleela committee during Dushherra for Durga Pooja. It is said the name of this park is kept on the name of Hindu God Machhodara Nath.
