Extremely comfortable stay, took 30 mts to reach from Airport. Express check in was provided. Early check in was provided. Delayed check out was provided. Room had all kits - shaving, dental, slippers, tea, coffee, fridge, locker, complementary water bottles, etc.

Upon entering the hotel it gives a great welcoming feel. The entrance lobby is gorgeous and the staff is welcoming. Unfortunately the hotel is extremely outdated. Even their posters look from the 80s. The rooms and toilets have mold. The toilets are ancient. The TV is a tiny flat screen. The carpets should be thrown out! They have a dehumidifier on each floor. Someone said it correctly this is a 3-star hotel honestly

Enjoyed stay at this property. The rooms are decently spacious and well equipped. However the same cant be said for the washrooms. The breakfast spread was full of varieties and tasted delicious. Since this property was bought from a british colonial and restored to form a hotel, it has a nice antique-y look to it. The banquet hall is good.i did my multiple projects here as aa photographer.

They boast to be a 5 star hotel but the rooms are stinky & dated , the toilet doors don't close properly. The hotel's toilets are unkempt, unclean, there are no handdriers the hand towel dispensers don't work. The toilet cubicles are so small that a man can barely turn. Service provided by servers for an event is great with tasty food options.

the first impression was like, was more of an old school classic hotel but comfy! Whoever curated the hotel, has done a decent job, the taste is classic/timeless. I'd say hotel requires a little work over some visuals in the room, but location and serenity of the hotel is excellent. A lot of positive vibes, from the start. Their service is very warm and welcoming, I was pleased by the presence & hospitable attention of each person representing "The Clarks Hotel". I would expect a little attention towards making It more modern but retaining its original vintage & sophisticated vibe. Also, I garnered great insights from the bar host Mr.Rajeev & While checking out from the hotel with Mr.Pankaj. The food, is 3.5/5 (The Italian & Indian is excellent, also the bar is quite decent). (I think they lacked a bit on the Oriental/Asian cuisine side, but I guess its the same around Varanasi). Hygiene, is all around great & safe. Wifi could be improved, for me it was considerably slow than usual. Security is welcoming & alert as per their duty. Ample of parking for car owners, very adjusting ground team for further assistance.

The Clarks Varanasi exceeded my expectations From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff who were always ready to assist me throughout my stay. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and impeccably clean. The comfortable bed and high-quality linens ensured a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The room also had all the necessary amenities like a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and a well-stocked bathroom with toiletries. One of the standout features of this hotel was the top-notch service. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local attractions, or handling any requests promptly, their professionalism shined through. The hotel's location was also excellent. It was conveniently situated near popular tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. This made it easy for me to explore the city without spending too much

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a five-star hotel that truly exceeded all expectations. The standout feature of this establishment was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I checked in, I felt like a valued guest. Every request was met with a smile, and the attention to detail was impeccable. The rooms themselves were a haven of luxury. Spacious, elegantly decorated, and meticulously maintained, they provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The amenities available were nothing short of impressive. Whether it was the well-equipped fitness center, the indulgent spa, or the variety of dining options, there was something for everyone to enjoy. In sum, my stay at this five-star hotel was a memorable experience. The combination of outstanding service, opulent rooms, and a wide array of amenities made it a true gem among hotels. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking a top-tier hospitality experience.

This hotel is good in every respect. The facilities here include everything that one needs in a hotel like car parking, WiFi, food and beverages etc. Apart from this, the gym, musical instruments and the staff here are very polite. Its location is also very good, from here the river Ganges is also nearby, which adds to the charm of staying in the hotel.

Hotel looks good from outside but rooms are very unhygienic and stinky. Apart from that washrooms are unwashed and dirty. I don’t think they clean rooms regularly.Whole night I was not able to sleep because of the smelly carpet . Other thing is hotel is very pricey for the services they provide. Any substandard hotel is far better than this hotel so i will not recommend it to anyone as it is waste of money. Kindly ignore all the positive reviews because this hotel doesn’t deserve that at all .

The hotel is nice. It's located on Mall road right next to a mall. Lots of hotels on that road. I felt the hotel is overpriced. The place wasn't worth spending 9to10k per night. The a-la-carte menu at hotel was expensive with most food items prices starting from 800+tax. While the food was good, it wasn't worth that kind of premium pricing. Service in general was nice. Staff are friendly and attentive and try hard to keep guests happy. Interestingly I noticed some fairly old paintings on corridors of the hotel, nice to see.

Food was not that great, inspite of having breakfast included with our stay we decided to eat outside the second day as the breakfast on the first day was cold and bland. And the service was a Lil on the slower side. The overall ambience of the common spaces was great though.

Well i stayed here for 2 days and it was a nice experience. Rooms were spacious and big and the hotel also has a nice garden to walk Staff were polite and courteous. Food i would say was good but can be improved upon especially in the breakfast. What i meant to say is have more menu instead of the only poori and sabji to choose from. Egg items can also be made with more perfection (whisk them properly). Food overall was good when ordered in room but yeah have more variety in your breakfast

Not really worth staying at The Clarks Varanasi if the motive is to visit ghats and temple! The traffic in the city is Crazy and it’s better to stay near the ghats than so far away! The food here is terrible, it’s better to enjoy street food. They charged us Rs500 for baby khichdi! Won’t recommend unless it’s a free or sponsored stay!

Amazing experience staying in Clarks hotel. The staff is so cooperating and their hospitality is the best! You ask for anything and they will manage it for you. Specially Pankaj helped us alot. The food tastes good. Rooms are like heritage feel like. The property is itself beautiful. Will definitely stay there whenever we visit the place.

For a 5 star property, the rooms and design needs a look. Stay was comfortable but for the amount being paid it was not worth it. Service was satisfactory but the breakfast served on the first day was cold, so much so inspite of having breakfast in the plan we decided to eat outside the next day.

Very pathetic service, room was damp . Whole night we suffered from the smell of moulds and fungus in the room which triggered wheezing to us. I don't want to give even 1 star. Very horrible night we spent at the hotel . Bed was very small to accommodate 2+1 . Lizard 🦎 was roaming in the room . Being a 6 months pregnant, I couldn't sleep properly because of suffocation. I have stayed at Clarks Shiraz, Agra everything was very smooth but at Varanasi they are looting on the name of 5 star . Before the day , We stayed at Madin nothing compared to this 5 star Clarks .we got nice room, ambience, service like a 5 star . I strongly recommend Madin over Clarks and advice never ever stay at Clarks Varanasi.

Location is good. Service was also appreciable. Rooms are big and well furnished. Starters in food were not so okay in taste. Lobby area is so beautiful. Free parking available. Gym and pool available. There are big lawns to walk.

It's a decent 3 star hotel. The lobby area is very nice. The rooms are clean but interiors are old. Still they are maintaining it quite well. The staff responded to our problems really quick, which shows they care about their service quality. One sore point is the breakfast options are limited, not too less but on two days I ended up eating just toast(I am a vegetarian and no eggs either).

Hotel with a history with almost all amenities though could do with a lot of modernization but still has a old world charm and with a lot of calming quietness . Good if you like a quiet environment.

Amazing hotel, here are are a few points why I liked it. I stayed here as a part of Kashi Yatra organised by Isha Foundation To begin with, the staff is absolutely amazing, they always greeted us with Namaskar. The food was absolutely amazing for all the three days of my stay. Someone had some issue and the chef immediately took feedback and implemented it. One of the best things I found was its distance from the station, if you have light luggage you can even walk to the hotel, its just about a KM. It has an amazing garden which is really peaceful I was able to do yoga practices there. Its well amintained If you want a room with natural light try asking for the ones facing the roadside as the ones facing the garden is a bit dark. My friend stayted in room 242 facing the road and it always had amazin natural light where as my room was 87(downstairs) and was a bit dark almost throughout if you dont turn on the lights. Overall its a good place to stay ... just 15 mins from the Kashi Vishwanath temple via auto.

One of the best and oldest hotel in the city located at the city itself. Nice and clean rooms. From the outside this hotel may not look pleasing but the interiors looks soo good and typically like a rich heritage hotel .The room looks soo authentic. They serve good quality of food and have an option of in room dining and the buffet. Overall its nice .
