Brij
Rama
We
selected
Brij
Rama
over
Taj
because
of
the
unique
approach
over
water
to
reach
the
property.
However
we
were
in
for
a
surprise
when
we
found
out
that
the
boats
are
not
operating
due
to
increase
in
the
water
level
of
the
Ganges
river.
It
was
indeed
a
major
disappointment
as
the
road
to
go
out
or
get
into
the
hotel
is
just
toooo
pathetic.
It’s
through
a
super
busy
and
crowded
market
area
of
Banaras
and
then
through
a
narrow
lane
that
passes
through
food
shops,
people’s
houses
and
lot
of
filth.
I
don’t
know
why
it’s
so
dirty.
I
feel
the
hotel
should
have
informed
us
that
there
are
chances
of
the
boats
being
shut
in
this
season.
The
hotel
by
itself
is
really
good.
But
because
of
this
experience
of
reaching
it
by
foot
the
start
was
not
good.
Staff
is
smiling
all
the
time
with
their
hands
folded,
really
ready
to
help.
The
breakfast
buffet
spread
is
scrumptious,
and
each
item
is
very
well
made
and
tasty.
The
waiters
are
very
prompt.
We
have
also
eaten
ala
carte
here
and
everything
we
ordered
was
very
tasty.
The
desserts
are
out
of
the
world
for
sure.
The
hotel
arranges
for
car
pick
and
we
also
needed
wheel
chairs
for
our
elderly
parents,
this
service
though
at
a
premium
price
just
like
the
hotel
is
a
good
prompt
one.
The
terrace
overlooking
the
Ganges
is
beautiful,
must
see
the
sun
rise
from
here.
We
are
in
the
maharaja
suite,
which
definitely
suits
its
name.
Very
well
made,
with
a
superb
interior,
spacious
seating
area
and
details
taken
care
of.
The
only
one
reason
we
are
unhappy
is
the
dirty
walk
we
have
to
go
through
each
time
we
want
to
go
in
or
out
of
the
hotel.
