I recently stayed at Costa Riviera and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience. Here are my thoughts: Pros: Good quality rooms: The rooms were spacious and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. Cons: Overpriced: In comparison to other hotels in the area, I found this hotel to be significantly more expensive. The pricing did not align with the level of service provided, making it difficult to justify the cost. Poor service: The biggest letdown was the service. The staff members were unresponsive and showed a lack of interest in assisting guests. There were several instances where I had to wait for extended periods to receive any form of service, and even then, it was not up to par. Limited service hours: It was frustrating to discover that after 9:30 pm, there was virtually no service available. As a paying customer, I expected the hotel staff to be available round-the-clock to address any concerns or provide assistance.

Phatetic service, in particular of restaurants. The staffs seems to lack professional training. Water are not served on table during breakfast. The cutlery are not kept on table even after telling the restaurants staff during dinner tonight 29th April 2023. The reception is very good and prompt. However staffs in evening are polite but morning ladies are stubborn. Will not recommend anyone. Owners please look into it 🙏

Sharing a honest review. If you are ousider(Non UP based) Don't book this hotel 1. Check-in was smooth. We have requested for early checkin and availed the same.You will not find smoking rooms in the hotel. So if you are a smoker and want to smoke in the room then you should avoid it. So 3/5 rating for the experience. 2. Rooms are pretty decent, rooms have all the basic amenities, centralised AC and all. But In our room we have found some stones in side near the window as the construction is going on. So no worries. They have gym and pool which is very good. So 4/5 rating so far for this. 3. For service I have called 2-3times in reception and housekeeping to clean the plates which we had ordered the breakfast in the morning but no one bothered to come. So 1/5 rating for this. 4. For Travellers (Solo/corporate/without family)- They Don't allow you to sit in the terrace area even you are the in-house guest. If you are with a family /a couple/bring ladies with you- pretend couples then you are allowed to sit the area. Others may feel discrimination like we felt. For these folks a dedicated bar area is there, where you can have drinks and enjoy the TV. So 0/5 rating for this. 5. Food prices are slightly higher and for drinks 2:1 offer is good here. Food quality are pretty decent. So 4/5 for this. 6. Bar manager is too arrogant and also the staffs As this is a service industry people should be treated with a smile 😃. But there is a huge lag with the guy(the manager). 7. Pathetic service by Bar Sky Lounge, As the food menu is limited and when we asked them to send someone with the restaurant menu they said it's not possible. They said you have to visit the restaurant or your room to order the same. We have requested for room service but they denied, you need to go down then order. Lastly when we asked about GM at the reception they denied to call and send one guy from the restaurant at 10.48pm. Where As per the guy restaurant is closed now why you didn't called from the Bar itself? We replied they repeatedly denied to call the restaurant and also they haven't send to the restaurant to take the orders.

Stayed here for a couple of a days on a family trip to Varanasi. Had a nice comfy time in the hotel. Room service was top notch, so was the food. Some things to be mindful of like there are no bucket or mug available in the washroom but once we request for them, it will be provided. Outside food is allowed but the delivery has to be taken in person outside the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The front desk staff was so unprofessional when I checked in and they don't really care about any of the customer requests. It took about 10 minutes to check in, though they mentioned express check in during booking. It took more than 20 minutes to deliver our luggage in room by their staff and we were just waiting for it in the room. The staff left one luggage at the reception and I asked him to deliver the same but he didn't come back. After about 15 minutes of that, I reminded the front desk staff over intercom for the same but he rudely replied that they have only one staff in the night and he too is busy in some other work and we have to wait another 10-15 minutes for our luggage, left out by their staff. Ultimately I had to come down to reception to get my luggage. Complimentary WiFi facility was included in my booking but the front desk staff didn't provide it's password even after several requests. Toiletries were of ordinary quality. They didn't provide slippers even after asking 2-3 times. No Complimentary morning newspaper. Breakfast quality was ok ok. This was the worst experience I ever had in such type of hotel. The hotel doesn't deserve for even single star. There is nothing good about this hotel. You may book a cheaper hotel than this and the service will be far better I am sure but never book this hotel.

We had a good experience during our stay. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Special mention to Priti from restaurant. She was a gem of person always smiling and attentive. It was a pleasure having breakfast with her around.

Base rooms have twin bed system. However the hotel is well maintained and location is also very good. Food is on a expensive side but quality is not compromised. It has a beautiful rooftop restaurant, swimming pool and enclosed AC dining area. Loved the ambience.

Don't blindly believe all the 4* or 5* reviews, especially when shushil's name is mentioned. I don't know whats his job in the restaurant. I never saw him attending customers (or greeting them atleast) for anything otherthan holding a qr scanner in his hand and asking for a review. Most irritating part is, once we scan the QR, after we open the webpage, he himself select the stars on our mobile phone and stands right next to us until we submit the review and insists us to mention his name. Restaurant - I saw a hair strand in my food. Concierge - Rude and unprofessional staff.

Very bad experience, Service was very third class level. Only one hotel staff was available at our hotel entry time, nobody picked our luggage (8.00pm). Behaviour of reception staff not good. Mosquito repellent provided after lot of request. Only one drinking water bottle was provided for two persons. Bed was not comfortable. At the time of check out one hotel staff at the time of checking of room wrongly blamed that we have consumed two beers, after our objections and denied that said , Ok I have just checked your family. I have also informed all said matter to duty staff and Gaurd today (15.10.2023). We are very shocked . I have booked two rooms for four persons, due to our early check out of hotel, we have requested packed breakfast for four persons but hotel provided some items only for three persons, without any justification. Overall experience is very very bad. Nobody listened us , we have already informed our first day problems to Make My Trip staff. As compared to Hotel tariff/ Charges , location, maintenance, facilities hotel is Very expensive .

I stayed with my family and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and was extremely kind and helpful. Mr Krishna F&B was looking after ourselves for breakfast and he took care of us in very professional way. Thank you very much.

While check in they don’t give you more than one key for rook. Even after requesting it wasn’t given. This was the only place where we had to struggle for room key. Wi-Fi never works, no one listens, they kept saying the IT guy will come at 11am. Very poor customer service. Food is good. The server (Sushil) was helpful.

Good service provided by all the staffs. Food quality, hotel ambience was pretty good. Sushil's behaviour n service served by him was good. All over we had a great experience

Hotel is situated in ideal place. Staff is well behaved and cooperative. Roof top bar is great place to spend your evening. Rooms are tastefully designed. In room dining is bit expensive. All in all good experience.

Rooms are good and spacious. But the problem is with the bathroom, it needs a complete overhaul. Showers dont work, and the bathtub moves a lot.. towels need replacement. Buffet breakfast was average

Very nice hotel with nice and clean rooms. The service is very nice. Near you can also find branded shops like manyavar, Peter England, jockey, etc.

Very nice place for party..... reception.....we celebrate here our reception party.....in this summer time but we feel good because there hall was chilled so everybody enjoyed comfortably....

We stayed here for 3 days with family. Good location but the issue was rooms. Not well maintained shower not working properly water sinking into the room. Requested thrice for a room change they changed the room at evening in that room too no charging point available beside bed. Tea kettle was not working. But loved the pool area well maintained & was worth spending time their. Breakfast was good loved it 👍 Staff at front desk not responded professionally though.

Beautiful hotel with worst management. Breakfast most ordinary. Stayed for three days . Construction noise whole day that I could not sleep inspite of informing the reception.

I visited the roof top restaurant Highlander. It's very beautifully designed having glass cabins. Food taste is very delicious. Service is also fast

Great friendly staff, good food at the restaurant and complimentary breakfast had many options (Continental, North and South Indian Brekky options). Room was of great quality - 30 minute walk to the Ganges. Highly recommendable

Hotel and rooms are good. Little bit on the inside so need to walk to main road. Not a very lively place it's situated. Food was great and breakfast was very good. But price of food is very expensive. Staffs are courteous. Only reason I give 4 stars is because of food pricing. Avoid auto walas right outside the hotel and don't fall for sight seeing tricks they tell to show authentic Varanasi places. Overall stay was very good.

Best place to stay .I stayed here during my business tour on 25th Aug -26 Aug. They have updated our room from deluxe to suit . Per day stay is here 5000 rs for suit.price will vary as per demand .

Its beautiful hotel at good location near station you can reach varanasi station by taking one auto and its not very far from ghats , so location wise its good, stuff behavior could be little better, and rooms are best at average ,

The worst experience I have ever had! HHI being a successful chain of hotels should actually take strict action against their varanasi property. The staff is absolutely arrogant and lack any kind of hospitality ethics, especially Mr. Aryan and the another lady accompanying him. They have no sense of respect for their customers. The rooms were below average being a 4 star property. No toileteries provided, no geyser in the washroom, no extra glasses provided even after requesting them! The reason given by them is they only provide it if we order from them. The swimming pool was not operating which was not informed while making the booking. Even after requesting an early check-in in advance, they made us wait for more than an hour. I personally think they should hire hospitably literate and good staff.

4 star hotel with nice ambience. Restaurant's services is excellent, staffs are very courteous. They take proper care of food quality and cleanliness and hygiene. I liked specially roof top restaurant.

Wonderful service by Mr.Akash. Tidy rooms, polite staff and we were provided good accommodation for our driver as well. And it doesn’t end there, I happened to forget one of my bags at the hotel, They managed to send it to me down to ranchi in less than 24hrs of me checking out. Throughly impressed.

The hotel rooms ate excellent ,whether it is the layout or the facilities inside the room both are great. The buffet breakfast is also good I wont say its great but its sufficiently satiating. The spread is almost same everyday but the standards are food. The major turnoff for this Hotel is the service , one needs to wait for hour for simple things like soaps, towel or tea kit even after repeated calls one needs to wait and need to give repeated cslls for simple things maybe they are simply understaffed.
