this is such a wonderful experience for me . I was stayed in the hostel room, the room and bed was so neat and clean . all the staffs were friendly and helpful. the rooftop view is so beautiful. All the ghats and temples are walkable distance from here. better to use google map to return to this hostel or else you will get lost in the busy street. you can call the hostel staff’s to pick you up if you lost the directions. Also their morning breakfast is so delicious. the common bathrooms are not cleaning regularly,that is the only thing I’m uncomfortable with .

The Neela is the place to be in Varanasi. With a great location, near the main ghats and the main touristic attractions, the atmosphere in this hostel is just amazing. The free chai in the evenings at the rooftop watching the sunset are a plus, the staff and the owner Sidd are kind and very helpful. They offer a simple and delicious breakfast and rooms are comfortable and washroom clean with hot water. If you are looking for an unforgettable sunset and nice chats, that's the place for you!

The best experience I ever had In India, the staff is awesome, super helpful all the time, the tours are great and fair prices. The rooms are clean according to Indian standards. The chai is crazy good!

We felt so comfortable at this hostel. The staff working there were incredible helpful and friendly from beginning till end, specially Vishnu and the other guy which I can’t remember his name. We stayed in total 4 nights. We got a double room with private bathroom and a shared balcony. The room was lovely although a bit dark. No bad smells at all but they could have done a better work at dusting. The location is perfect walking distance from the main ghats and temples. Great value for money. I would definitely recommend this place. Overall I give it 5 stars.

The warm water didn't come out that much, but I just slept^^ I thought this was India lol.

It's a good place to stay Owner is very humble guy, and the whole management is really nice. They do organise different activities, and they will ask you to join with them. Apart from this place the same guy owns "The Bunkedup" and "The Dirty Chai" both the places are awesome.

Stayed here for 10 days straight absolutely loved the rooftop though I had it to myself most of the time , they organised a beautiful music fest the cheap meals were a nice addition I believe and I hope to come back again soon

Good staff and great view from the rooftop. The owner organizes events almost every alternate night which are really very chilled and good for socializing. Breakfast is okay for the price. DON'T MISS the walking tours.

So for me this was a hostel experience after long and trust me guys, every bit worth it! The owner, Siddhant, is one hell of a chill guy, and most definitely one of the best hosts and an amazing DJ. Well the list can go on honestly! Raju bhaiya, Prince and the entire staff is as warm as if it's your own home. Nestled in the cozy 6ft wide lanes of Bangali tola, and a stones throw away from the Bunked Up hostel and the Mighty Ganges, The Neela is every bit the place to be a backpacker would be looking for. The accomodations are beautifully cozy, full air-conditioned bunks with a personal fan and reading light in each. The rooms also have spacious lockers for all your precious belongings and all you have to carry along is your personal padlock. They also have twin sharing rooms but I did not experience them first hand. I'm sure they're awesome though! The events they organize, food walks, heritage walks and the evening gatherings over Chai are just perfect to bond and share with the other travellers. It is a place that I've made tons of beautiful memories and friends at, and personally, I'm not staying anywhere else whenever I visit Varanasi again! If anyone is planning, this is a place that won't disappoint you. Go for it absolutely!

Staff were nice and welcoming and the place is clean. I would recommend it for a stay if you are in Varanasi. Siddhant (the owner) is a person you should meet and get to know about the beautiful city..

This place is an absolute gem!! My international friends and I stayed there for over a week. The property and the services provided by them are unparalleled and the hosts are even better. We had a great time!! Hope to see you soon xx
