Hostel On The Ghat is amazingly beautiful place with a very soothing interior and also a very eco --friendly terrace with a warm hospitality. A beautiful place to relax and makes us feel -at -home. The rooms are very classy with all the facilities to fulfil our needs. And also not forgetting to mention about the management, who are very pleasing.

Man Mahal, typically referred to as Man Mandir, is sited on the western bank of river Ganga. Samrat Yantra meaning small and huge, Nadivalaya Yantra, Digamsa Yantra, Dakshinottara Bhitti Yantra and Chakra Yantra are the maximum vital gadgets in this observatory

The front desk staff all were professional and pleasant. Wonderful hostel in a great location, with superb breakfast. We do not know when will be our next visit to Varanasi but sure we shall return to this lovely place. Already recommended your hotel to a few of our friends. Heads-up for the services provided 👍

On The Ghat is so well located centrally right on the Ghats, truly an immersive yet peaceful stay right next to the Ganga River. Staff and service was amazing and you can tell they are giving their all to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Kudos to the team at On The Ghat on making our stay so enjoyable.

AMAZING PLACE! Ambiance is quirky, modern, fun at the same time very rustic. Staff is extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. Its literally on the ghat! location is amazing.. Cafes and Restaurants are around the corner and you have a beautiful view from the rooftop, can have beers and enjoy the bonfires. Amazing hospitality. Absolutely recommend this place!!!! Definitely my place whenever i visit Banaras again! Thank you guys!

I visited the guesthouse 'ON THE GHAT' a few days before the opening, and it seemed very nicely decorated. The rooms are equipped with AC, and are clean and groomed, some of the rooms has a wonderful view to the river. The managment speaks english well, so it was really easy to get by. I got a warm and kind welcoming. The Rooftop view is one of the best imho, even if you don't plan to stay - think about paying a visit. The prices offered to me at that time were pretty decent. As for myself, I did not stay in this guesthouse because I was already staying at a different place.

On The Ghat, is one of the most Serene place in Varanasi, Comfort mixed with Views of soothing Ganges, is the hall mark of this place. Cleanliness and well behaved staff is the most important attribite of this place. On the Ghat is worth staying, if you want to stay around beautiful Ganga.

This hostel became literally a home away from home! It is not very big which gives it a family-atmosphere plus it just opened this year so all is clean and neat. Their rooms are simple but perfect: comfy beds with curtains, very very clean. Great roof top terrace over looking the city and a cosy common area downstairs, an excellent location close to the Ganga and to some of the best cafés in Varanasi. Biggest thanks goes out to the amazing team running this place: Vishal and Co. thank you for helping me in any way possible. We felt so blessed to accidentally stumble across this place in an amazing central area to everywhere you want to see in the Holy City Varanasi. The beautiful people that are running this guest house are doing an amazing job! The owner is a humble guy who will be happy to share his extensive knowledge of the city and the history behind it. With all types of comfortable accommodation from dorm room to roof top suite “Romeo” room . With breakfast and fast wifi and Hot water .... right on the ghats.... there isn’t anywhere better than this and budget friendly! We would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling here. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The view from the romeo room on the top floor was amazing. It is a new place but the sincerity with which the staff is willing to learn and grow is what motivated me to give them 5 stars.
