I had stayed in this property for 4 days with my family. We had booked 2 deluxe suite rooms. Pretty amazing place to spend luxurious time with your loved ones. The staff is friendly and good hospitality. They had provided us with wifi passwords right at check in time. Rooms were luxurious as expected. They have a restaurant OCEAN in their campus which serves delicious food , though I felt variety was less. This hotel is situated in cantonment area which is the cleanest area of Varanasi. It was a good choice to stay here💯

One of the worst hotel experiences I had. We visited Varanasi at the same time when G20 events were happening there. As a result we had to pay higher charges compared to what they normally charge. I know this as I stated in the same hotel in 2019 and 2021 as well. We had liked the location so decided to book it again. Despite the fact that we paid them a higher price, we got a makeshift room. They converted a twin room to a king room. As a result, there were no charging points near the bed. The only charging point was at the work desk. The best part was that the light switches were under our bed, literally. You can watch the video to check the same. When we complained about this to the staff, they were quite casual and it was their suggestion to post this video (and it was the only good thing they did) Definitely our last stay at this property...

The food, restaurant and the staff was really good. But we didn't get proper hospitality at the reception desk. The staff was non-pleasant natured and was not even helpful upon any question or query. Overall property was good, worth to stay, hygienic, location wise and cost effective.

If there would have been an option to give 0 star, I would like to go for that. An overlay priced hotel with rude staff. I booked executive room with king bed and they alloted a twin single bed room to me and how they cheated is, they just merged two single bed together. Highly unacceptable behavior. When I asked to change the room the staff said, all rooms are occupied. When I booked this property, it was mentioned with king bed, now the staff is saying it is based on availability. Totally unprofessional and uneducated staff. Don't waste your money on such kind of property.

We booked a king bed deluxe room for two adults and one kid but they gave us two jointed twin beds which was having no back rest on one side, no charging ports on one side. Also hotel books pool for private party without informing and then do not allow its room guest, what is the need of showing then in amenities if I don’t get them when I am staying.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. 1. Rooms are very spacious and well maintained. 2. Receptionist and all the staffs are very well behaved. 3. Foods are very delicious and all the prices are reasonable. 4. I get the complementary water bottles whenever we needed it. 5. Location of the hotel is also very good. I am very much satisfied with this hotel and will surely choose this place if I visit Varanasi in future.

Had a pleasant stay at the hotel.. It's a beautiful venue at Varanasi cantonment with pool and gym amenities. Will surely recommend others also for stay.

Great place to stay. We stay there for 4 days and the rooms are pretty clean with no complaints at all. Also the food is really good they had a variety in their buffet.

The hotel looks clean. Brownie points to the housekeeping staff. Restaurant staff is super courteous. The reception guys not so cooperative....they bluntly turn down requests and need to up their customer service game. The food needs to be cooked with more hyginene though as it may cause food poisoning. And the hotel staff isn't so cooperative then. Even though the hotel boasts of being a 4 start, it barely matches up to 3 star standards, I'd give it a 2.5.

I cannot recommend to stay here. The entire hotel and rooms are rather dirty. It’s very loud, outside and inside (it seemed they had a construction site right above our room) the hotel. I think we had at least ten electricity fall outs during our stay (two nights) and every time the electricity would go on again, all the lights turned on and the doorbell would sound. The location is quite nice as it’s not in the city centre and a bit calmer, but I still wouldn’t go there again. Overall it was just exhausting to stay there.

A good hotel with an excellent breakfast and dinner menus. Staff are polite and helpful. Functional rooms. Good hot water showers. Far from the ghats. Takes a long time on tuk tuk. 30 min on average. Recommended

Very spacious rooms, direct location on road, breakfast is again a hit or a miss fairly, stayed here twice. The floor staff needs to be disciplined as they snatch the notes out of your hand when you tip. Secondly their lock system is bad, every time on the 4th floor it goes non operative and i need to come back to the reception for debugging it. Also price needs to be steady, as the tariff always changes. Service remains the same that matters alot, mostly the property offers clean big rooms, on spot location, but nothing beyond that.

MMT mentioned this hotel as 5 star which hotel is fully aware of. However , this is actually a 4 star hotel. Such informations are misleading for customers. This must get corrected. Hotel is an average hotel with good food quality

I am sharing my personal experience rooms were decent but not properly managed, if I talk about services (including room & restaurant service) both are not up to the mark. As per our expenses, we are not getting that level of service, next time before checking with this hotel I will cross-check every point in prior with the management itself.

I recently stayed at Rivatas by Ideal, expecting a luxurious 5-star experience. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of my expectations. From the moment I checked in, it became apparent that the staff's level of cooperation was lacking, and their focus on receiving tips rather than providing quality service was disheartening. I was shocked to discover that ordering baby food for my infant came with an additional charge of 500Rs. As a guest, I believe that essential amenities such as baby food should be provided without any extra cost, especially considering the high expectations associated with a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, my experience at Rivatas by Ideal did not live up to these expectations.

The lobby and hotel exteriors were stunning. They look much more luxurious than hotels nearby. Unfortunately, the room and essential service fall short of the expectation. The room was dirty in various ways (dusts on head bed, worn-out runner on the bed and dirty carpet) and we found a lump of hair from the previous guests on the shower floor. Then, internet was horrible. I am surprised that a hotel with such exterior prestige would have such a dysfunctional wifi. We couldn't even stream Youtube and ended up using the data plan after one day. Food was okay but, pretty salty. Lastly, there are noises from the toilet and it sounded like haunted. 10/10 for lobby and exterior. 4/10 for the room and internet.

Hello all recently I visited varanasi for pilgrimage trip believing online I decided to stay hotel Rivataas, never in my life I have had extremely worst experience ever right from reception to staff each one of them were worst people and specially the general manager who has no manners and respect for anyone who has no control over his mind and language talk very very rudely to every customer they claim to be star property I would not rate even to even economic Lodge. Anyone visiting varanasi please avoid this property and share the same message to your loved ones too. Emplloerye over here talk something and deliver opposite to it. DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE EVER.

We stayed for 4 days. It was a marvelous experience. Good, clean and comfortable. Food was good, hygienic and tasty. The staff was courteous and helpful guiding appropriately about the city as well. We're thankful to Aadil, Kuldeep, Pradeep and Alok for their efforts and assistance and wish them all success. The housekeeping by Ashwini was neat,clean andexcellent job, wishing him and the hotel all success as well.

The hotel is not being maintained at 4 star standards! Few of the rooms do not even have a window or any source of natural light including any kind of ventilation! Once in, you won't even know if it is day, night or what?! So, pl be careful and sure to check while booking. The general upkeep, maintenance & hygiene of the hotel is poor and doesn't provide feeling of it being 4 star. The bathrooms have drainage issues and soon you can find yourself in a puddle while taking a bath! (at-least in the room that I stayed in) The buffet breakfast is very very ordinary with average quality. Covid protocols were nowhere to be observed including the entire staff of the hotel from reception to housekeeping to supervisors to restaurant staff where wearing mask appears like an alien concept!!

The food is Rivatas is excellent. I can definitely rate at 5 star food and is the best among several hotels including 5 star we stayed in India. I have to mention the exceptional services extended by Pradeep, Kuldeep and Alok daily asking us our preferences and providing food accordingly. Their service attitude and the aay they treat guess deserve big praise and special recognition . Because of tasty food precautions and serviced of Pradeep, Kuldeep and Alok we would like to stay in the same hotel when we plan to come again

Stayed here for 4 days. Rooms are decent. Located outside the city in cantonment area. If you book this hotel and come by train then get down at Varanasi junction or cantonment station and take the exit towards platform no. 9

A decent property. Appears to be newly constructed/ renovated hence no issues from an optic point of view. However all other things are fairly average. Food spread in morning breakfast is a little less given the price they charge.

Everything is good, but their WiFis aren't great at all (the free one). Also, the partition walls are not up to the mark, you can hear the sound of the TV playing beside your room. Location wise, it's in the cantonment, so away from the main hub of all the temples, which further implies that the auto waalas are always on the lookout for the tourists from such hotels to mint a considerable more amount than they would have otherwise charged.(Do not fall prey to them!)

Initial experience was not good, as room had AC problems. Nearly upto 2 hours after check in, people coming & going to correct the situation. Ultimately, room was changed. Still whispering of receptionist, something related to AC during check-in, buzzing in my ear. If they checked in intentionally, knowing the situation, it's anything but professional; definitely not customer centric. But otherwise rooms, room service etc is more than satisfactory & thoroughly professional & client- focussed. Really, enjoyed our stay for two days very much. And best is it's food, yet saliva is coming in my mouth, when thinking about any foods, I have taken here. If I will check in again in this hotel, it's food will be one factor. Hope, the same cooking team will continue..... Recommending to taste it's food, even if you staying in some other place Regarding location, it's very good, if you are coming here for official or leisure travel. If you are coming to visit temple, it will be good to stay in hotels, those are walking distance from Temple. Otherwise, you have to do long travel, face trafficks & issues related to no entry, may need long walk to visit temple....

Excellent hotel with very clean rooms. The staff were courteous. The food was really good, but the buffet could do with a little more options. Overall, a very good place to stay.

My mother was treated very badly by the staff and mr khan. They entered the room without her permission using spare key. Opened all her belongings and touched her lingerie and makeup. This hotel is not safe for women and they don’t know how to make anyone feel safe. Do not recommend! Never book this. I demand my money back!!

This hotel main drawback is the restaurant with not much tasty and very less items for buffet breakfast. Prices of restaurant are very costly and a tea would cost you 164 rupees. Imagine having lunch here.. There are not many restaurant options nearby which would be in budget. There are pain points that hotel staff didn't agree to extending one room for few hours due to one-year old baby though we have booked 5 rooms for 3 days. Their ac is good and rooms are big and clean among good points.. again water is too costly...

Good experience.Rooms arepretty large with good view. Nice complimentary breakfast. Food in the restaurant is very tasty though a little expensive. This hotel is located near cantonment and is a little far from the hustles of the main city. Hence it is not much suitable for those who want to visit temples and ghats. Overall a good experience.

Hotel rooms and cleanliness was good but there management is worse! Doors getting locked as we get out of room and keys gets always deactivated. There is no indoor parking service. Such hotel must never be considered as a 4 Star Hotel!

Nice hotel. Staff and all other facilities are up to mark. I will recommend this hotel for all. This hotel and Amaya hotel are same. You can book any depending on availability and tariff. Both hotel belongs to same group /owner. Swimming pools and restaurant are common. Food is slightly costly. Buffet breakfast having good options.

The hotel is located in the new cantonment area which is way far from the city centre and access to the city centre is difficult from 9am to 9pm due to entry restrictions for various types of vehicles. Rooms are comparatively cheap, nicely maintained and large, bed was comfortable with nice air conditioning, but the commode was dirty on arrival. Water pressure was found low in the shower. The breakfast was below par with tasteless food. The reception staff was rude and routinely refused special requests like late checkout promptly.
