One of the worst hospitality ever seen in my life, I was staying in room no.208 I bet if you go now the fan would be making that same horrifying noise that was during my stay, the manager in the night shift was hilarious, drinking in the restaurant n misbehaves with the client. I will never ever recommend anyone to stay there. Only if you can deal with such idiots can go there. I would love to give negative rating if possible.

Situated just near the famous Godowlia chowk, the place is just right in the market. Walking distance to Dasaswamedh ghat. I recently had the pleasure of staying in their hotel room that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Pros 1.Great location (infact location was the only good thing about this hotel) Cons 1.We stayed in a suite (it was supposed to be amongst the more premium rooms) but it had many mice. When we complained than reluctantly they started searching for it and During our stay 2 mices were caught by the hotel staff from our room.. 2.We had to request the staff to clean our rooms every day.. 3.Most of the staff asked as for tips..

It's a good hotel in a very prime location near Dashashamrdh ghat. . Rooms are bit stuffy... Service ar okish... Not so good. .. It's take long time to sort out the request

I stayed in the hotel from 26/9/23 to29/9/23. The position of the hotel is excellent.Just some steps from Godowlia Chock and the famous Dasaswamedh ghat. The room which I booked was smal but furnished and decorated.The toilet was very neat and clean.The service of the hotel's staff very very good. The quality of food of the Arroma resturent of the hotel was very good and testy. Moreover in that time the total train movement of Vanaras was nearly stopped, my train of return journey was 23hours late.The hotel has arranged me a room, though the room was not good but at that time it helped me very much. Whenever I shall go to Vanaras , I shall stay at hotel Lara and I shall advice all my friends and relatives to stay there.

Rooms are stuffy, suffocating, no provisions for windows, locality is extremely congested and noisy. However hotel staff is very courteous, service is wonderful & food is delicious and quantity is much sufficient.

I live in this hotel for 2 days. But my experience is so worst Food Average but bathroom service Is so so bad.western toilet not Properly working. Flashing system is so bad and it's so Hard. Body's garbage is floating in the western toilet. Manager of this hotel change the room but there's AC not working and fan is shouting. Great place to stay at Benaras. Situated in a crowded market. Temple and ghat is 10mins walking from the hotel. Car won’t go till the hotel so you will have to walk a while to reach the hotel. Food was good and we stayed at the top floor premium rooms. Overall a great experience.

was there with family in the middle of october. a 4marks for the location - easily connected to the Main Kasi Viswanath Temple , daswemadha ghat and a few other ghats .. a 3marks for the service by the staff (not by the management,i mean the ppl in frontdesk/reception)- a wonderful tea too , u can also get a very hot bucket hot water even at 03.30 am .. rooms - poorly maintained(bed bugs too) . some plumbing work was going above our room (too noisy) which ended up breaking a pipe connection and that which ended up water flowing inside our room ..called up the reception and room was changed to the opposite room later noticed that ,the wardrobes dint have doors there and the toilet commode had broken seats ( there was no apology for all these by the management and got rude replies instead).. # a nightmare stay ..

LA- RA... What a Location! I liked the location, Its on the main Godwalia Chawk. Temple and the famous Ghats, famous food and chat shops all are in walking Distance. But You have to walk almost 500 mtr to reach the hotel coz, Cars are not allowed in this road,Though Hotel will send their person to collect the luggaes. It has lift but its from the mezznine floor. Rooms are preety good with cupboard , sofa , centre table.Mini Freezer & Hot water electric kattle. Beds are cozy, and clean. Bathroom is also clean and with hot & cold water services.Though some renovation and reparing works will make them perfect. Room Service is too good. All the people are too cordial. One Bad thing is that except the Manager, each and every one is asking Tips..

Only one floor is renovate as shown in YouTube videos. Rooms on the other floors are horrible. Steps are compulsory to reach the reception. Location is good but approach is very difficult especially for elder PPL Not recommended at all

My room no is 301. The front desk is good and flexible too , but the room service... the worst 😫 Best thing about the property is its location.... just few steps from kashi temple..Aroma is a pure veg restaurant, with quality and tasty food.

Management is not good and flexible There is no body in reception counter from 10 pm to 11 am morning. Also not listed in any hotel booking sights. Best thing about the property is its location. I just stayed a day before with family, the service, foods, room service all were excellent services, rooms were bit premium in a minimum charges, food quality were awesome and tasty, employees in lara were provided good and fast service, i always prefer other to stay in Hotel lara india because it also located very premium place. If you are looking for a hotel near to both Vishwanath Temple and Ghat, then this is the best hotel. The chowk is near from where you can get a cycle rickshaw, the saree market is near and the Dashashwamedh Ghat is also near for the Ganga Aarti. Rooms on the first floor are great. Other floors are getting renovated. Service is quick and the food at Aroma restaurant is amazing too. Affordable and best hotel in the prime location.

I have been to restaurant only that too in morning time when they were unable to offer full course meal but I am impressed with staff. They are really quick and food was also good you can also customize things in dish like I don't want onion and garlic in my chola bhatura so they made dish without that and it tasted yummy. Only thing I didn't like is they are selling cold drinks bottles above MRP like 32 rs for 20 rs bottle and food price too was expensive(though I understand it is tourist spot that's why but y cold drink above MRP ?)

Location wise, Lara India is the best to access autos, and rickshaws and anything, right on Godhowlia chowk. This is close to Lord Viswanath temple. The rooms were bit small, with no windows, but cozy. Service is great, food is great and affordable, and it is highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Varanasi.

We checked into the worst hotel that the hispitality industry can have. The Staff were rude and they behaved like we were beggars and they were doing us a favour. The Guest Relation people were so bad that they were arrogant and ill tempered. The rooms were overpriced and the rooms were infested with insects. The rooms had ducts which were making very lound noise and we could not sleep. Food were overpriced and tasteless. My last experience with Lara was good but this time it was poor and the uncooperative staff made the stay really bad. If you want to spoil your holiday then only come to Lara India ... pathetic hospitality service

Very bad to worst stay with nightmare experience for 2 nights booked in advance through my travel agent. Room was infiltrated with hawks, insects and foul odour from the wardrobe back panel, behind which is the drainage duct. How can a hotel of this range and status can treat the guests with such treats. To add to the woes, front office manager was not only rude but outrageous even to a lady, my wife. Can be called no less than a rogue. Both room and food are highly over priced too high. We keep coming to varanasi, but will never ever stay, but will ask others NOT TO STAY here @ this hotel. Not to spoil our pilgrimage plan.

Just talked to the hotel owner or manager regarding a booking. But his behaviour was not great. He didn’t even care to explain me about the booking procedures and hang up the phone on me. Very rude service . Will not recommend to anyone

Staffs, Managers are really good and service is apriciable as well. Hotel is in prime location. Restaurant is one of the best in benaras for both the quality and quantity. Problem is Room. These are not good atall, very suffocating and so many unexpected problems are there.. Though the Good service and behavior of the staffs will make the tourists happy..

Good hotel amidst the crowded Godowlia market. Kashi Vishwanath temple, Dashashwamedh ghat, railway station are very near. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. Staff is polite and efficient. Restaurant and food are very good

Very bad experience...could not sleep well at night in a super deluxe room which is situated by the side of the kitchen. Nuisance at midnight due to loud talk in the corridor by the staff...Not recommended at all.

It is a great place to stay in Varanasi, proper location, close to the temple. Rooms are a bit small, with no windows, but that didn't cause any problem, quite cosy and clean rooms. Hotel is situated in a great position Close to Dashashwamedh ghat and Godowlia Chawk. But we had to carry our luggages because police had banned auto/rickshaw from entering this place. Rooms are clean as well as bathrooms. Only con was the AC. Seems like it has its own mind and doesn't bother getting controlled by you

The experience was really nice, despite reading the critical comments the hotel stood up well and it had all the necessities needed. The rooms were pretty and clean, bathroom was neat and clean as well and the food was good too! And most importantly the hotel was situated just 10 steps away from Kashi Vishwanath temple 👍🏼❤️ amazing
