The staff was good and kind. They were helpful. However, the hotel had no proper generator facility. One entire night we spent without fan as there was no electricity (leaving aside AC, even though it was a paid AC room) because the hotel was not equipped with a proper generator. Some kind of compensation was expected as we paid for the services and were not staying there for free. Having to spend an entire night without the basic minimum air in room (after having paid for it in full which was Rs 3900 per night) was very disappointing. Please step-up your services so that you do not give a painful night to your clients in future. The two stars are for the staff. They were good. The management literally need to look into their responsibilities.

The location of the stay is cool just near the Ganga river. The food is good not too tasty but definitely worth. The rooms were clean and neat. Overall neat place to stay visiting temples.

Great place to stay when in Varanasi. The rooms overlook the Ghat and Ganges river. River facing rooms on the 2nd floor are best because they have a outdoor deck. Breakfast, which is included with the price of the room was delicious. Just a few steps away from the Ganges. The small winding streets of Varanasi are a little confusing at first so I would suggest paying a little extra to have the hotel arrange the taxi from the airport, when they pick you up their staff come out to the main road, carry your luggage and guide you to the hotel. I'm not giving this hotel a 5 star rating because I think its a 5 sta.r luxury hotel, its not! The entire place could use a fresh coat of paint and our toilet seat was broken. You probably wouldn't like Varanasi if hat was you were looking for. This place is great because of the attentive staff and location, location, location! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

We booked here for 2 nights: We arrived before check-in time and they welcome us and with train time we have to leave late at 17h30. The owner prepare new room for us after 12h00 without charge the money. Thank you very much. It was really kind for us Note: Easy to find the hotel with photo of panel that I put and walk staight, you will arrive at hotel. Positive: + Good river view from room. + Big room with proper equipments inside. + Big bacony. + Comfortable bed. + Owner and person there really polite and good take care of us. + Break fast is make to order many choice can choose. + Foods are good but only vetgetable menu. Negative: - Need to walk from main road by pass with small busy road around 600 m. No car or tuktuk can enter with this small road.

Visited Varanasi, the city of temples and the lanes and by lanes and many other things including the famous Ghats, with my wife and sister-in- law, all senior citizens, this week. Wonderful experience due to many facets of the stay at this hotel. The care and support from the very moment we stepped out of Vande Bharat train from Delhi till we were back to the station, were exemplary. The best, perhaps, was the location being in close proximity to the Vishwanath Temple and access to the Ghats. Could never expect that the hotel would deploy a dedicated guide to take us around and save our time and effort to visit the places, we wanted to. Sh Neeraj Kumar Singh stands out with his dedication and eye for details. He briefed us about dos and don'ts before any outings, which helped us navigating through the many religious rituals or eating food in famous places to even during small shopping ventures. The breathtaking view, of the Ganges from the bed on the first floor room, made the stay so memorable. The hotel food was really good and homely and was always made to order and simple. This was a trip we will cherish and remember for ever.

Few suggestions: 1. The ground floor rooms riverbfacing were stinking 2. The back rooms have no window atleast make windows facing verandah with heavy curtains. 3. Passage to outside Road is worst ever. Alternative is you with your group hotel with support of authorities change the steps make small comfortable steps for getting down to Ghat down. Or make a direct way to Ghat requesting temple Auth. In front. You have good stuff, good managers but way to your hotel is too difficult. Put boards on way to give directions. Once coming in we were taken good care of. Janak Bhagat

Good location to stay. The way to Ghat is quite difficult for old age. Best ganga river view from rooms. The hotel staff and owner are supportive. Thanks

Rooms are very dusty, we had to clean upon our arrival, and not well maintained. The price is not aligned at all with the property quality, but it seems to be the case for most of Varanasi hotels. View of the Gange is the positive thing about the place.

We stayed here for 5 nights. And we highly recommend this hotel for everyone who is looking for some calm and clean place. The apartment has all you need and if you need something else you can ask any worker because they will help you. The apartment is the cleanest place that we stayed in India. And they clean the place while you stay too. The restaurant is also wonderful. They have a great menu and the vive and views are amazing. We will repeat the place if we return to Udaipur. For sure! Thanks guys for make our stay better than we expected!

The hotel has a very good location and a wonderful view. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The room smelled bad and there was no way to ventilate because the terrace was closed with glass, I guess because of the monkeys. Linen and towels are also very worn and need to be replaced with new ones. Internet is weak and does not always turn on. We had agreed with the man at the reception for breakfast at 7:25am but it wasn't ready until 7:45am when we had to leave for the airport and we had a quick bite to eat only bananas

Everything was awesome. I was not expecting such clean rooms at all. The room we took was their lowest priced one and even that was great. The only reason for giving 3 stars to location is because of the walk needed to reach the hotel. However that is so for all hotels if you really want to be close to the Ghats as well as Vishwanath temple and Ganga aarti. Would not suggest it for old or people with difficulty in climbing stairs but for everyone else, pls go ahead and enjoy your stay here. Foods options might be limited but that depends on personal choice. We did not have food at the hotel as the hotel serves both Veg and non-Veg. Special thank to the hotel boys...they are very supportive and helpful.

What makes this hotel a wonderful experience is the outstanding service. I stayed here for 3 nights with family and the staff and manager consistently went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Whether it was planning trips around Varanasi, helping and accompanying us with activities around the ghats area or recommending food and shopping outlets, they took care of it all. They were also flexible to accommodate a last minute stay extension due to our flight timing. The food is excellent (we only had the vegetarian fare), rooms are good and the proximity to the ghats/river is a great advantage. The only flip side is that the access to the hotel goes through narrow lanes (about a 10 min walk from the main road) which can be uncomfortable for some people especially when it is wet and rainy but the staff does their best to help move around through them. Overall, the service and the opportunity to see the river bank up close are the biggest differentiators.

Pleasant experience at this Hotel, you will have very good food with prompt service. The best aspect is the Ganges view from the hotel balcony, a common AC balcony connected to 4 rooms, from where you can have a great view!! The interior decoration is awesome! Rooms are well equipped with modern amenities. It is kid friendly. The reception service is also good, Niraj ji is helpful enough. You just need someone to direct you to this hotel from the main road, through many gullies of Varanasi. The staff also has connections with weavers in case you wish to buy Banarasi silk sarees and others at reasonable prices. You won't regret.

We arrived during the month of august where the roads were closed and we could only access the hotel by foot- the closest road being about 500m away. It was not clean or hygienic. Staff were trying to cheat us into taking their tour packages and did not offer a good experience overall. Do not recommend staying here despite the good reviews and location.

I had an excellent stay at Omkar Palace. I travelled with 4 aged family members and the staff went out of the way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They helped plan the temple visit, boat ride and nearby sightseeing also. They arranged for wheelchairs for my aged family members at all times of the day and that was most helpful The location is right next to the ghats and very close to the holy river Ganga, Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Ganga aarti, boat ride etc. The rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent home-cooked style. The only word of caution is that to fully enjoy this hotel and its location one must be able to easily walk in the very narrow streets. It is about 500mts from the main road and is accessible only by walking.

The hotel staff is very helpful, one of the best I have come across to date. The hotel is placed near Chousatti Ghat with a great view of the river, where one can enjoy the beautiful sunrise. The hotel restaurant is good. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are not very good but are not poor as well. Car parking was an issue, since the hotel is near the riverside, the car was parked approximately 1.5 km from the hotel. To reach the hotel, one has to navigate through the famous narrow streets of Varanasi. However, the staff will help you with the luggage and directions.

Very good hotel on the riverbanks. Food was excellent. Excellent porters and guides. Monkeys on the veranda restricted us from using that area even though we reserved that room. Overall, a great experience.

Everything was as advertised and more. My room was incredibly clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The proximity to the river and the view from my room were simply indescribable. Few things can compare to the combination of hot tea, sunrise of the Ganges and monkeys playing only feet away.

I had a very good experience during the stay. Value for money. Friendly reception staff. I had ganges view from Balcony. Only problem was walking from the mainroad, since no vehicles can enter as the roads to the hotel is narrow. However the hotel staff helped me in carrying the luggage both during the checkin and checkout.

We stayed for two nights at Sri Omkar, the hospitality was excellent from the moment we arrived, the staff did everything to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were good with hot showers. The food at the rooftop restaurant was excellent and good value for money. We booked a walking tour with Lalit “Let’s walk Kashi” on Instagram and it was brilliant, he has a wealth of knowledge and i would highly recommend him. We had a great stay, thank you so much.

It was wonderful staying at the hotel. Viewing the great Ganga river from the room as well as from the balcony was fantastic. Service and cooperation were excellent. Food was tasty and hygienic. I would love to come and stay over there in future.

Hotel was excellent and service was also superb. Hospitality is unthinkable. Only disadvantage the distance from main road which is really a problem for senior citizen like me. Wash room needs one exhaust fan and housekeeping should be on regular basis. Overall ambience, food and helping attitude is highly satisfactory

Varanasi as real as it can get, everything within reach and all the temple visits, boat package, local guide was taken care of by the hotel. Note that the hotel is not reachable car and a slight walk is required but if informed in advance, the hotel sent staff to help navigate the busy streets and carry your luggage. Hygienic food options and overall comfortable stay! Will stay again if we visit.

My stay in Varanasi was made even better by Dwivedi Hotels Sri Omkar Palace. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were so kind and accommodating. They allowed a slightly earlier check in and offered tasty chai while I waited. I felt safe and watched over. I had a large room with a comfy bed and a wonderful AC. My room had a little sitting area with a stylish window overlooking the Ganges. The location was close to everything I wanted to see and experience. Book it - it’s worth it!

The hotel and the staff were very good. Very helpful and smiling staff. Food quality was top notch. Rooms were very clean and view was great. They even accompanied us to the temple and guided the routes whenever asked. Very happy to have visited the place. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at Dwivedi Sri Omkar Palace, for a night, the hospitality is great, everyone at the hotel were very courteous and provide you the needed handholding. If you are new to Varanasi, then this is a place to stay without worrying, as they help you with all the need guidance. The best part is, they are not very particular about the checkin/checkout timings, they have allowed us to stay until 6PM, as they had the room non-booked, this is a great way of helping guests. The room was a little small for three people and I felt it is a little expensive, otherwise, it is just great experience overall, the rooftop restaurant food was also good.

We experienced beautiful view of Ganges from hotel rooms... excellent hospitality.... rooms are quite good.... food quality was very good .... of course the location is little odd with lot of walking involved for any movement.. however hotel authorities gave us necessary support as and when we faced difficulties for walking. It is over all an enjoyable experience.
