I
have
been
seeing
this
hotel
in
Jagat
Ganj,
near
Lahurabir
market,
since
my
young
days.
Very
old
yet
well
maintained.
This
is
because
my
family
roots
are
in
Varanasi
and
I
have
grown
up
seeing
Jagat
Ganj
locality.
To
be
more
precise
my
father
had
done
his
schooling
during
British
rule
from
Queens
College
which
is
just
opposite
the
hotel.
Our
family
lived
just
behind
the
hotel
in
the
C
Block
of
the
locality.
It
was
for
the
first
time
that
I
stayed
in
a
hotel
in
Varanasi
and
Pradeep
Hotel
became
an
obvious
choice.
I
bargained
a
little
on
the
front
desk
and
the
deal
materialised
for
both.
The
room
was
comfortable
though
the
beds
were
set
apart.
Nice
cosy
feeling.
They
provided
a
jug
of
cold
water
which
we
needed
badly.
The
bathroom
could
have
been
better,
particularly
the
bathing
area.
Instead
of
putting
a
thick
curtain
there
could
be
a
fibre
partition
which
would
prevent
water
from
spilling.
My
room
rent
included
complimentary
breakfast
too
which
is
served
from
7.30
a.m.
till
10.30
a.m.
I
came
to
know
that
you
have
to
order
the
breakfast
and
then
it
will
be
served
in
your
room.
It
was
not
normal
buffet
which
I
had
imagined.
They
give
you
two
choices
and
you
have
to
select
one.
Now
if
you
want
more
or
need
another
cup
of
tea
then
you
are
in
for
disappointment.
It
is
only
single
serving
and
more
means
pay
for
what
you
want.
There
is
no
dedicated
parking
as
well.
You
need
to
park
your
vehicle
on
the
road
itself
adjacent
to
the
hotel
boundary
wall.
I
can't
say
how
they
manage
if
the
number
of
cars
goes
up
suddenly.
The
front
desk
was
polite
and
very
decent.
I
didn't
take
lunch
or
dinner
here
because
there
are
plenty
of
good
places
where
you
can
get
a
good
variety
at
competitive
rates.
My
favourite
is
Basant
Bahar
on
Lahurabir
roundabout
where
I
never
miss
lassi
or
sweets.
Overall
a
decent
place
though,
think,
the
rates
could
be
a
little
more
affordable.
One
more
thing,
the
hotel
should
run
a
discount/incentive
scheme
for
repeat
clients;
at
the
moment
there
is
none.
