Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with this place. First of all they advertised a rooftop terrace and restaurant… however during my stay it was under refurbishment so couldn’t take an advantage of none of these two. I think they should inform guests about that in advanced. Second thing - cleanliness!!! Don’t get me wrong! I understand this is India and this is old town of Varanasi so you can’t expect too much. And I didn’t! Room and bathroom were ok-ish. Bedsheet and pillowcase were very clean! So far so good… but look at the picture how the pillow itself looked like after removing it from pillowcase! It used to be white one day… probably few years ago! I have high tolerance to cleanliness but this was too far!!! Location is good. Owner was nice.

only Mettā (loving kindness) here I checked in for 3 nights and end up staying for 9! The staff are incredible and serve with wide-open heart chakras! The food is wholesome and delicious. The space is magical and filled with ritual and peace. When you visit Varanasi make this your home as the location, connection and special touches are hard to beat. Namaste.

The place is a little disappointment from the point of view of staying experience. It is messy and mildly unclean. However, the kindness and warmth of the owner, Santosh and his help, Shubi da make up for the entire experience. Basic hygiene factors can make this place quite happening and welcoming visually and experientially. I hope they work on it. The location is brilliant. It is adjoining the Narad Ghat, which is a quiet and beautiful ghat. The eating joints are all closeby and the vibes of the hippie lane are infectious.

Overall experience is good. but Room was small. Ac was not working properly. Charged bit higher than normal price

It was just great. Staff is super friendly and understanding. Toilets are clean, rooms are clean. Fod and ambience is great. Planning to visit again real soon.

The small intimate nature of this hostel couples with a charming educated owner and sweet manager made for a lovely stay. The location could not be better, just down from the two cafes where all the backpackers eat and get respite. (Brown Bread Bakery and the Monalisa) It felt homely and cared for and i appreciated it's intimate size. This is a great choice if you want to visit Varanasi.

Staff were awesome. We arrived from the overnight train early and were able to check in immediately.

Great place to stay, well maintained accommodation with cool dining area as well as on common area on the roof. This place surely adds to your Kashi experience. Been here a couple of times.

The place is nice enough for Gen Z and millennials. Spacious as well. You get good café nearby to eat. The only problem I have,faced, is to find it. (Probably because it was the first time) Very Very affordable if you are a solo traveler like me. The person who dealt with me is very professional and understanding as well. If I visit Varanasi again alone, I know where I am staying.

Perfect Location in the middle of cute little streets around. Next to bazar and very close to the Ganges. Working warm water. It has a nice rooftop as well but they could tidy it up a little bit.

Tbh I would call it no vibes hostel the location is great but the rooms are very basic and not clean at all, they didn't even wash the bedding and you literally couldn't see your face in the mirror it was so dirty. Guy downstairs didn't speak a word of English and the rooftop was like a zoo in which you're the animal, needs a good refurbishment and it would be nice. Honest review. It was okay to sleep and that's it.

They have nice place and location, 150mts from raja ghat u can walk down easily. The bed are comfy and they have dorm option as well with a fairly good price. Owner and the caretaker are very good they are helpful. And you can always go to monalisa cafe or German bakery which is 200mts so overall it’s a very good place

Great vibes here! Met lots of friendly people in the dorm and the location is prime. One minute walk to the Ganga and surrounded by lovely cafes restaurants and shops.

The cafe below serves the best food. Should not miss trying Schezwan Fried Rice and Schezwan noodles. Rooms are good as per the price. You can play songs, dance and enjoy and they won't interfere. Good hospitality and feel at home vibes.

Amazing place to stay. The energy is perfect. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms and dorms are clean, tidy and perfect. Totally recommend. Will come back soon :)

For solo traveller it's a good place to stay . Narad ghat is very near only 5 minutes walk.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Overall good cleanliness in public areas and dorms. Free filtered water available as well, huge benefit. Location is close to everything and in the middle of the action.

Our intended two nights, got extended to eight nights! The Good Vibes Hostel is close to the Main Ghats and still far off from all the noise and chaos of the main roads of Varanasi, its hidden in a quiet alley, only two minutes far by walk from the ghat. The owner was all the time mindful, incredible friendly and calm, the staff is great and helpful and we were sleeping in a eight bed dorm room with AC(!) for a cheap price but great service. And not to forget the lovely decoration and artpieces everywhere in the hostel, what a gem!

I had the lucky chance to stay in this hostel already three times and I can't wait to stay again in such a beautiful environment. A part for being extremely well located, clean and very new, it's well managed.<br/>The staff, helpful and kind, contributes a lot to create a friendly and peaceful environment. The division in between public and private spaces guarantees you to rest undisturbed wherever you need it or to socialize and join interesting daily activities.<br/>Last but not least, I have really enjoyed the food in their restaurant, fresh and cooked at the moment so far is one of the best in the area!

Amazing place. Great people. A lot of peace and quiet. One of the best places in Varnasi to stay. The host even allowed an early check-in at 2 AM in the night as our train was at that time.

A safe, convenient, and in budget place to stay near ghat. Staff is also good & cooperative

The hostel was good for its price. I took a private non ac room which was decent with basic facilities and amenities provided. If you are a budget traveller you can opt for this hostel as it is ver near to the ghat but the main ghats are on a walking distance. The only thing which i didn't like was bathroom,it was really small. They have a rooftop also but it was not operational because of covid. All in all its a nice place to stay in budget
