I went in for a cleaning and Jefferson Dental did not submit the proper (and routine - meaning they should have known) documentation to my insurance company. This resulted in my insurance not paying, so I got the bill. I called my insurance who said, "just have them submit the documentation and we will go ahead and pay the bill." Pretty straight-forward. That's when I started getting the run around from Jefferson. This location didn't submit the proper documentation. They said they couldn't handle my bill because they don't have an in-house billing dept (trying to reach their corporate office is another nightmare). But they are still responsible for my claim being sent to the insurance. I spoke with someone who said, "don't worry, we will get it taken care of." They didn't. This office is poorly managed. They're very incompetent because of their failure to provide routine medical documentation to insurance companies. This experience has been a nightmare. In addition, the office manager is always "unavailable". If you see this, yes, I absolutely do want you to call me back so we can further discuss why I don't recommend your services.

This one is a little past-due, but they just sent me text wanting me to schedule my routine cleaning and it reignited all of the frustration. I went in for a root canal last year, which took about 5 hours, but not a big deal. They fitted me with a temporary crown and then ordered the permanent. I waited about 2 months and called, only to find out it had been there for several weeks. When we tried to schedule, their office at that point was only going to be open a few hours a week and they wouldn’t know exactly which days until the beginning of each week. Getting scheduled was a huge runaround, but we finally got it on the books. The permanent crown wasn’t fit correctly, so after an entire day of trying to get it on, they decided to pull it back off and put on another temporary crown, then reorder another permanent. Before I even got home, the entire tooth snapped off at my gums leaving just a sharp edge sticking up near my gums. Then had to resume the runaround of hoping to get scheduled and not one of my calls were returned whenever the office was actually open. I don’t even know if they actually order or received the second crown, but it likely didn’t matter since all the trauma caused the tooth to snap. So now, I’ve paid them in full for something I have to pay someone else to fix.

This is by far the WORST dental experience of my life. Not only have they permanently screwed up my teeth but they have billed twice for my daughter's cleaning and refuse to fix their billing error. They didn't even send us a bill before they had collections calling for payment within 30 days of her appointment. Do NOT trust these people with your oral health or your money.

This place is great! They did a great job explaining everything to me and working with my schedule. Lexi was really great, she was nice and took care of me. Maria was great, she helped me with my schedule and made sure I had everything I needed. Dr. Akoli Foadey Did great work and kept me I. The loop the entire time. This office is very professional and everyone was really nice.

Dr. A did a wonderful job extracting what was left of my wisdom teeth. His dental assistant Lexi was very professional. She didn’t say much, but what she lacked in words she made up for by doing a great job. Once I get healed up, I will definitely be going back to get all of the other dental work I need in the future.

So I've been coming here for awhile now to get my perio maintenance cleanings and Krista the Hygenist is awesome for sure, the young doctor was very nice and thorough with exams. The only issues I have here is, one I receive way too many reminders messages and requests to submit information they already have on file, Multiple times I've been notified of appointments that didn't exist lol. Also I don't appreciate arriving 15 minutes before my appointment time and not getting called back until 30 minutes after my appointment time. A couple things to work on but overall I think this location is pretty great and I'll continue to go there for my Dental care and would recommend it to friends and family also.

I’ve been traveling for work so this review is long overdue. I had my appointment Aug 30, and I cannot understate this enough- the best dentist experience I’ve ever had in my life! Dr. A and his staff went above and beyond in all expectations. Right off the start, the manager Aundrea was so friendly. Angel, my dental assistant, was very professional and walked me through the scans he was doing. Krista was my hygienist and you will not get a better one in all of Texas! Felt like I had a brand new set of teeth. Dr. A was one of the kindest and most courteous and knowledgeable dentists I’ve ever been to. I was nervous about seeing a dentist after so long but they could not have made the process any smoother. Well worth the drive!

Great experience! I hate going to the dentist but the dental hygienist Devin made the visit a breeze. She’s knowledgeable and does a thorough cleaning. Definitely would recommend going to her.
