Food was great and the people working there take care of their customers. Food portions are very good to share. We tried other Indian places in the downtown area but felt Shiva’s bar and grill is the best.

I have dined here multiple times in the past month or so when I have been in the Dallas area for work. The staff is so friendly, they greet me like family when I walk in. The food is fresh and amazing. They asked what spice level I wanted when ordering. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone thirsty for spice and in the Dallas area.

Went for my 21st birthday yesterday, nice atmosphere clean and the food didn’t take too long. Everything was delicious we ordered the garlic naan with hummus, butter chicken, onion pakora and the lamb chops which were the special of the day. *Whole meal ran about 97$*

I recently celebrated Diwali and my birthday with the family at Shiva's Bar & Grill in Dallas, which was an absolute delight! Indian cuisine is a family favorite, and Shiva's exceeded our expectations. The food was impeccably cooked, seasoned, and not greasy – a rare find. The presentation was as beautiful as the flavors, making it the best Indian dining experience we've had in quite some time. Plus, people were so lovely and helpful❤️ And with the relaxed ambience and full bar service, Shiva's Bar & Grill is a must-go Indian restaurant in Dallas; it is an excellent spot for authentic and top-notch Indian fare. Highly recommended💯 We arrived early and got some photos without the crowd🙌 Enjoy the photos😉

My husband and I are in Dallas for a concert and this restaurant was 500 feet away so we went for dinner. I am picky about my Indian food and my absolute favorite is Lamb Rogan Josh and they have it! The service was so friendly and the food arrived fast and let me just say, it was superb! Especially the Naan bread basket. I highly recommend going if you’re in the area

Great food and great music. I really enjoyed the lamb chops, the mint sauce is fantastic and the meat is tender. The goat biriyani was very flavorful with lots of aromatics. The lamb korma was very filling and went well with the garlic naan. They even had curried mussels there as a special which I've never had before, but it ended up as one of my favorite dishes. Highly recommend!

From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted warmly by the friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious and the owner was friendly and engaging making the dining experience even better. I would highly recommend Shivas to anyone seeking authentic and enjoyable Indian food. We drive from far north Dallas and it’s totally worth it!

UPDATE: Came here today and actually ate inside. So so good 😊!! I could smell the amazing aroma of the spices before I even walked in the restaurant! This was my first time trying Indian Food, I try a new cuisine every Friday. I had the Chicken Samosa and the Lamb kabob. Both were exceptionally tasty. I plan to return and eat in the restaurant. I had mine to go.

Everything is delicious. I HIGHLY recommend the royal dinner for two. The meat classic. There are so many options and it's all delicious. I didn't try the shrimp (allergies at the table) but everything else is great. It also comes with a soup, appetizer, and dessert. Very attentive staff as well.

Eating at Indian restaurants for Indians is like a love hate relationship and also like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get… Having said that, Shivas definitely falls under the “Love” category. Coming from a self proclaimed foodie, this place is the real deal. And to top it off, Chef Praveen personally came to the table multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. I wish I could give this place six stars. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a lovely but relaxed atmosphere, Shivas is the place. The Gobi Manchurian is extraordinary; the vegetarian Korma was rich and decadent…simply delicious. My husband had the Butter Chicken Masala, and he said it had creamy, tangy, goodness in every forkful. The Pappadum was light, crispy, and full of flavor. Do not hesitate to make the trip to the west end….it’s outstanding!!! Service was attentive and very sweet…Parish helped us navigate the menu and made the whole experience fantastic !

My first time dining at Shivas was great! The food was hot and delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. My cousin has a dairy allergy and they had a lovely vegan menu with several options for her to choose from. I recommend this place for a great meal and a nice vibe.

What a great experience! The service was excellent, our waiter Sam and the waitstaff were very attentive. I have a dairy allergy and I really appreciate that they have a vegan menu. The food was cooked fresh and seasoned to perfection. The restaurant was clean and well lit with natural light. I will definitely come back when I am in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great, authentic Indian food!

Amazing restaurant!!! Customer service was by far one of the best places I’ve been that treat you like a Queen, excellent attitude and attention to detail. The food was beautiful to look at and even better to taste!! So many delicious spices, that made your mouth water. Madhu was our waitress, she has an amazing smile and warm personality. It was our date night 😍 We will definitely be back with friends. 👍🏼 Thank you Shivas!! You Rock!!

We ordered the royal dinner for two and everything had amazing flavor. Everything sounded so good on the menu it was difficult not to order more so we ordered the pineapple chicken, it was delicious! Dessert was the perfect amount of sweet if you aren’t huge on sweets. The staff was absolutely the best!

Excellent. Very few Indian restaurants offer Salad. Here is one such. Tried their Goan Dish made with Roasted Coconut. The Bread was tender and just right. This is very Fine Indian Cuisine.

Me and boyfriend go try different Indian restaurants all over the state and this is by far the best Chicken biryani. The chili shrimp is always good but the sauce here is amazing they actually give you a lot not just coat the shrimp. If you’re looking for a place in Dallas this is definitely a must try place!

This was our first time here and it was absolutely amazing. The smell you get when you're outside gets you ready for something really special. We got the meat platter. Every thing was so full of flavor and super tender. We'll definitely be back!

Visited this place first time. It’s located in heart of the city. It has beautifully interior. The moment got in, was greeted and escorted to the table. Food was on time. Servers were well dressed and communicating. I will highly recommend people to come and visit this place. Can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere here! Ordered the royal meat platter which is basically a multi dish "try it all" meal and we ate literally everything we were served; it was all THAT good. They also have a full bar, though no specific cocktail menu, but there's everything there to make whichever drink you'd want.

Maybe it was the time of day or phase of moon but my entree didn't live up to this place's rating. I would try again to re-evalute but Dallas is not in my near future. Also, make sure you read the menu descriptions because I didn't expect my naan to be decorated, but it's there in the menu. I like my naan plain so the "pizza" naan was a bit too much. Both the chicken and lamb in the biryani were overcooked, maybe the plate sat too long. There was only one server; however, I was one of two. And their "Indian hot", which I expected to be very hot with that moniker, was not even Thai hot. Big disappointment on multiple fronts. The Taj Mahal was a tasty, light beer. Great for a 100+ F day.
