It was a decently clean hotel. It was just really old. Very Dated. It just needs some updates. The floor we were on received new mattresses during the stay. There aren’t any microwaves in the room. The staff was friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful. It’s located near different spots to eat and the mall isn’t too far from the hotel. Until they did some updates to the hotel, I wouldn’t probably recommend. I would only recommend because the staff members were great. The hotel itself is a 2 and a half star hotel.

I just stayed here from March 1-3. The pricing was fair for being in a pretty great location of Fort Worth. The room was absolutely MASSIVE, the hotel was fairly well soundproofed, check in was easy, ample parking, and the lobby was nice. Those are the pros. The cons: -I found a LARGE live cockroach in the shower curtain on the first morning. I called the front desk asking for someone to please dispose of it as I'm really scared of them. I told them I was in room 107 (right down from the lobby, probably only 50 feet away) and they responded that they would send someone. They never did. So I popped into the hallway about 10 minutes later and was lucky to find cleaning staff a few doors down. They took care of it quickly, but the management never apologized for roaches nor acted surprised that I found one. I checked EVERYTHING after that and was very cautious going forward. -Room cleanliness. It was after that point that I started looking a little more closely at the cleanliness... the headboard (which didn't even touch the mattress, there was quite a large gap between the bed and the headboard to where pillows would just fall down into it) had a bunch of splatters on it. I didn't want to know what they were. The alarm clock next to the bed looked like it hadn't been dusted in weeks and the snooze button had some questionable crusties on it. The furniture was cracked and worn. The carpet had old stains set in. -The shower. Normally I'm a huge fan of shower pressure, but this one was straight up painful. I had just had surgery in January, and when the jets of water hit my skin, it hurt so bad. Unfortunately there was no way to change the shower pressure as the head was just one setting. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again.

Really good place to stay. Clean. A little pricey at $200 a night but everything else was booked. Checked at the Holiday Inn across from there and it smelled like dirty mop water from the front door ! We did have a bathroom light on the fritz ( very very dim ). Room smelled like mildew a little but my air freshener fixed that ! Elevator sounded like 2 cats fighting ( ear plugs should have been handed out at the desk ). If you're wondering why I give it a 4 , because overall,it was still pretty good.Hotel very well decorated . Quiet and cozy. Room very big and comfy. Breakfast had plenty of everything. Both hot and cold options ( they even had someone making the pancakes so we didnt have too). There is a small bar by the front desk. It is small but cute cute. Outside grounds are well maintained. Restaraunts are plentiful and close. Night view from my window was so nice ! So inspite of my few complaints,I'll definately be staying here again . And did I mention Hulen Mall is a few blocks down ?!

This place did not meet my expectation as it had in the past. I spent five days there from May 29 through June 3, 2023. Upon coming home and taking a shower I found two bedbug bites. I went to the ER to get checked out. It was confirmed they were bedbugs. The manager there is not very friendly. I have reported the hotel to the corporation in Chicago Illinois and also the health department. The other assistant managers were nicer. They had problem with the lock on the kitchen door, and we did not get a hot meal one day. The elevator jumps when it goes from 14 to another. I would not advise going there until they rectify all their problems

Pretty basic hotel. Good for Cat 1 mattress runs if you're chasing Hyatt status. It's clean and updated enough. Would like to see new smart TVs but it was comfy. Walkable to some restaurants. Free parking.

Rooms are large and comfortable. Cleaning people are some of the best I have had at a hotel. No hot tub and someone’s truck in the back parking lot got broke into while there. Elevators are kinda slow. They have a small bar with snacks and drinks and a good free breakfast. Employees were very friendly and accommodating.

The location was great... I thought it was very quiet and safe... The man at the front desk was extremely polite, friendly and professional which is rare these days in my opinion... The room was clean and the bed was amazing! The wallpaper was coming off in the bathroom but I think they just need to update a little and also I have not seen a TV remote that large in a long time lol ... It was a good stay!

Relatively good price but low quality Hyatt and generally below what I expect from a major hotel brand. Dated bathrooms, sliding key cards that barely work, clunky & slow elevators, wifi cutting out frequently, and inattentive desk/customer service workers were the largest factors bringing down the experience. Edit: reduced to 2* - loud construction all day and no access to the fitness room.

We brought a large group of families and they were very accommodating for us. The rooms were amazing!

Catalytic Converters were stolen from their parking lot. The people behind the desk stopped speaking English when I asked to see the video. I hope the Cops have better luck than I did

Rooms are clean staff is friendly. would defiantly recommend. To see a friendly face and a happy smile is hard to find anymore much less someone willing to help and go the extra mile is rare but one employee here did just that thank you Artina Waller.

We went on a Tuesday so the rates were pretty low. The first room we were in didn't have a working AC and it just wouldn't cool down. It wasn't burning hot, just not cold. We called down to the front desk and they promptly re-roomed us. It was really comfortable in the second room. I don't know all the sizes they have but ours was spacious. It had two beds and a couch. Easily enough room (2 parents and 3 kids) and we weren't stepping all over eachother. Staff was courteous.

So nice and a great price! For approximately $100 you get an open floorplan suite. A small living room/ office area as well as the bedroom. It's not downtown, but centrally located in a bustling suburban hub. It is a very easy drive to any restaurant you could want. However, going out to eat isn't really necessary. For $10 I had an excellent hamburger and fries. The taste and quality of the burger were an exceptional surprise! Also the full free breakfast has been named "Best Hotel Breakfast in Fort Worth". They also allow pets at an affordable rate. I kept my two small dogs there for three nights for a total of only $75 extra. Love this place!

The hotel will be very nice when they are done renovating it. While we were there they were doing the tile floors on the elevator and first floor hallways so it was difficult to get up to your room. Great breakfast buffet!!

Room was nice a clean, breakfast was good, location is close to our kids in Benbrook. The only downside was upon check-in the lady was very short with us, she acted like we was bothering her. We stood at the desk for some time before she even came up. On a side note we were on the 6th floor on the west side of the building, our room stayed uncomfortably warm all night long. AC really was struggling.

This hotel stay was one of the worst we have ever experienced. The hotel is under extensive renovations and really should not be open to guests at this time. The fire alarm went off numerous times, the lobby had construction workers jackhammering floor tiles, one of the elevators had the flooring removed and only had plywood with a floor mat tossed over it, the elevators only worked intermittently, the water was shut off during the night, the TV wouldn’t turn on properly and occasionally when we did get it on, it didn’t have a good signal so we couldn’t get any channels. Ice machines were broken and the exit doors at the end of the hallways were locked from the outside (due to the construction) This meant when the front lot filled up and you had to park on the side and back parking lot at night you had to walk all the way around the building. Our stay was riddled with silly and avoidable nuisances and no where near a typical Hyatt Place. Maybe give it a couple months to get everything figured out and it will be ready to be back in the game.

The front desk clerks are AMAZING! However, Katia Diverse & Darian are thieves. Katia charged me 3 times for the same reservation and I finally got my money back for charges made 2 weeks ago. I chose to stay there again because the front desk clerks have excellent customer service. This time my daughter did the reservation and paid for our last night. Katia Diverse charged my daughter and turned around and charged my debit card which shouldn't have been on file TWICE! At this point I'm upset because Katia Diverse the GM charged my bank account and she wasn't authorized to do so, nor was she or the Hyatt supposed to save my account information under a New reservation that was paid by someone else. The HYATT claimed my Yorkies damaged a table I honestly can't say if they did or not. If so then let me know so I can pay for the damages. Instead she went through my previous visits and charged my card without my authorization. Because this reservation was made and paid by my daughter. So, why did you still have my credit card information on file. I called corporate and Katia lied stating she charged my card $300 when in fact this THIEF charged me $577.76. I have the receipt to prove it. When I told them I wasn't leaving until Katia refunded my money Darian informed me that Katia Diverse won't return until Mon. They called the police on me and even though they KATIA DIVERSE ILLEGALLY ACCESSED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME THE POLICE TOLD ME I HAD TO LEAVE. Katia Diverse is a THIEF and made fraudulent charges on my account. We will handle this the legal way! If you look you see she charged me for 2 nights that were already paid for.

We had no water pressure in our room. We're told it would be back soon. Next morning still no water pressure. Hotel is not very clean either. Depending on your needs I would try a other hotel near this location. If your are a Hyatt Globalist then you might be out of luck.

I stay at Hyatt Place quite a bit. The stay is always good. The Hotel is always clean., but I have an allergy to pet dander. And my allergies flared up shortly after check in. The people across from me had two dogs.

The rooms were awesome and the pull out bed was great. Besides that I like the fact it has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom. It was a great place and nothing was disappointing

This location is very outdated and is in need of some major updates. The lights in our room kept dimming and the light in the bathroom was almost non-existent or took several minutes to get bright. Our room smelled like a combo of old vacuum cleaner and wet dog. When I pulled the air filter on the air conditioner it was fairly dirty. The TV would not stay bright and also kept dimming and making it hard to see. The layout of the room was great and having the long L-shaped couch was nice for sure. The breakfast was a hot breakfast that was very acceptable. Overall I would give them another chance, but I wish I would have complained about the wet dog smell right away but we were busy trying to explore and had things to do in the area.

Good service and friendly staff. Cleaning crew was mopping as my wife and I headed toward the elevators. They stopped and called the elevator and helped my wife across the wet floor. Room was nice and spacious. Really comfortable bed as well.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived. The rooms could've been a bit cleaner, but the front desk clerk clarissa I believe was her name.. She was also a great bartender. Made us feel at home which was very comforting, will definitely be coming back with staff members like that.

I had a king bed suite at $185 a night before taxes (Room 209). The bed was very comfortable, and there was very good selection on the TV. Room was also clean. Now I must advise that the bed was soft, which I like. But I understand that isn't for everyone, so do keep this in mind if you decide to stay at this location. Also, as nice as the room is, the furniture is worn in a few places, one of the outlets where I plugged in my phone was loose and moved, and the desk lamp flickered. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of selection. My only annoyance was they had churros this morning instead of the pancakes and waffles yesterday. I love Latin food, but I don't care for churros. Pancakes and waffles should be offered everyday, especially the waffles, which have cinnamon. Overall, a nice hotel that needs a refresh.

Thank you for providing a great and clean place to stay and get ready for a wedding. The staff was friendly and helpful, Kimberly was amazing and our favorite reason to go down to the bar at the end of the night. She made us all feel welcomed.

During my stay there, the corridor on the fifth floor had an unpleasant smell the two nights i was there. It was better the second night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, services was good and the location is easy to spot.

My family came down for the weekend for a family members wedding and at first there were a couple of oopsies but the staff was amazing and compensated us for the mix up! Also shout out to the amazing staff members we worked with, in particular Kimberlee (I low key would not have made it through the weekend without this incredible woman!), Paige (such a kind soul and was such a fantastic person), and Cameron (I'm sorry if I spelled his name wrong but he's doing the Lord's work at God knows what time in the morning 🤣) Also cleanest hotel I've been through in YEARS! Thank you guys so much!!

Here is my email to the hotel manager. I would like to take this opportunity to talk about our recent stay. I like to leave reviews on google and yelp as I use those platforms while researching and often decide where I will stay at depending on accumulation of reviews. I decided to reach out to you beforehand as I didn’t want my review to come out of left field for you. First and foremost, your staff is wonderful. They all have excellent customer service skills. Check in was super easy with a very welcoming front desk staff. And, housekeeper Norma kept our room well stocked with our necessities and was very accommodating when we asked for our room to be cleaned while we were out so we could come back to a nice clean and crisp room. I have to say that you guys have to do some updating. Your plug in for extension/computers sent out a spark when I plugged in my computer to do work at the desk in my room. Not only that but the extension plug in itself was filthy and looked liked something was spilled on it. When we opened up the sofa bed to use, our pillow fell in between the mattress and the wall and it was so dusty and gross. The sheet had a hair ball in it. The bathroom stopper didn’t work right and we had to constantly fix it. There was spots around the tub that looked like blood and couldn’t be removed and we tried to clean it ourself. I imagine that these things are specialty cleaning items that are maybe done less frequently but still need to be done. Our air conditioner didn’t really work right. Our first two night, we were literally sweating all night long. We thought maybe the Texas heat was getting to us. I requested for it to be repaired and I was told that maybe it had frozen over. Front desk sent a technician to repair it for us and it worked very well for one day but we had to leave the fan and AC running all the time and it was very loud. I don’t mind the loudness as much. Just wasn’t happy about the air conditioner not working. It would go through a cycle of cold air and towards the end it would send out about a minutes worth of heat. We had to leave the curtains closed the entire time to reduce the amount of heat from outside hoping that would help. While researching the reviews prior to our visit, I read that you guys offered Starbucks coffee. This is a huge plus. When I went to buy some coffee I was told by the front desk that you guys don’t have any cream for your coffee. This is a terrible decision on your (Hyatt) part. Wow!! The front desk agent apologized and I appreciate the apology but this is just terrible. What hotel doesn’t offer creamer? Not even during breakfast time? Not even powder or those little individual portions? Definitely doesn’t make me feel like I’m on vacation when I have to go outside of the hotel for coffee. The biggest complaint that I have is, we found roaches in the room. German roaches. I will add a screen shot below. We found this in the closet. If you have any knowledge about German roaches then you will know that once you see one, there are several more in its trail. I mentioned this to front desk and the very sweet lady apologized. I didn’t want to make a big deal because there were other patrons around and I had friends visiting me and was mostly very embarrassed. We didn’t want to stay there anymore after that but didn’t know what we could do since I had already prepaid for the trip on Priceline. Among these issues I would have to say that updating is needed in the rooms. Everything feels sticky, looks very worn and dated and I will never stay at a Hyatt hotel again because of it. I do want to let you know again that you have a very nice staff. Great customer service skills and very welcoming. I imagine the other issues are internal issues that needs remediation.

Property is definitely not up to par to other hyatts everything is tattered and wearing down front check in staff was rude and acted like I was bothering them my first room had a broken TV second room had a strong smoke smell and hotel is adjacent to a bar that has live bands at night which is good if you're trying to party but if you're tired and trying to go to sleep they'll keep you up all night avoid this hotel if you can there's plenty of others close by I wanted to leave but didn't want to waste the money

The rooms were or way too big and they were not thought out very well especially when you can't have your commode in the same room with your sink and no mirrors in the bathroom that's ridiculous the rooms are just absolutely too big too much room

  • 3/5 Greg S. 1 year ago on Google
The staff generally seemed helpful and kind, so that’s the good. That said, the hotel is getting pretty worn down. Loose knobs, dimly lit showers, stains on curtains, complaints of hot water issues from guests, holes in the ceiling in the hallway. Also, why on EARTH do hotels insist on shining the brightest LED lights up the outside walls of their hotel at night? I suppose it’s to make it more visible from the road, but it easily makes the room 10-20% brighter if the light is directly on your window which seems problematic if the whole point of the hotel is to sleep. Maybe request a room as far from the spotlights as possible. I also walked in to the front desk worker and a guest in a shouting match - eventually the cops were called to mediate. Not the hotel’s fault since it was an unruly guest, but perhaps some training in deescalation would be helpful. Location is fine - easy access to Target, Costco, and a number of food options.

Unable to sleep well. The climate unit of the room very noisy. The place is clean and breakfast is very good but if you can't have a good sleep is hard to have a comfortable stay.

Great place, nice rooms. The location is nice with restaurants and target nearby.

Love the location very convenient to see friends and family. Also the staff members were incredible, the best encounter I had was with Clarissa. Very professional and Took care of our every need , Even though she was super busy. Y'all should consider hiring more people to help with the front desk. She was very fast at multitasking otherwise I would've rated it a 2. That lady went above and beyond though, as-long as she's working there I'll definitely be coming back.
