I come here often to buy bakery items for my elderly father and usually I can overlook the terrible service because the food is pretty good. Today I got his usual bakery items and they were very stale. So ridiculous that they would sell stale bread to their customers! It is equally ridiculous that the staff here is allowed to be so rude to their customers. I’m going to make a real effort to try and find a place who wants my business and has good bakery items.

I recently visited La Madeline and while the food was okay, I didn't think it was worth the price. I was disappointed to find that the serving sizes for the soup and salad had gotten smaller. The chicken friand was good, but there wasn't much else that stood out. On the bright side, the parfait was excellent. Overall, I had a decent experience at La Madeline, but I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

Staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful in the to go line. Used to be back in the day, it was so simple… they would 1. Greet you 2. Ask what you wanted 3. Give you your food with a smile and Thank you. …This server did none of these and I ended up giving a huge tip to one of the other servers Melissa, who is always so friendly and helpful when I dine it. Much of the lack of customer service atmosphere comes from what management allows. Starts at the top. And much of my lettuce was old and brown. After picking out all the old and brown lettuce, I was left with half a salad. Please make la Madeleine great again.

Writing this review as I wait in line…please have the online & pickup orders placed in the pre pay order pickup station….the staff is becoming lazy…I along with 3 other pickup orders waited in a long line for over ten minutes to pickup orders because they were not placed in the designated area….when ppl order ahead it means we don’t have time to wait.

This location is a cesspool. The employees are very rude and the lack of service is unacceptable. I ordered avocado toast. When I received my order I noticed a hair on my food. I immediately notified an employee and they didn't even apologize. I requested a manger and was issued a refund. I will never eat at this location again.

Husband went to get a chicken salad sandwich. It was the size of a baseball (very small) with very little chicken salad. The pasta was horrible had little to no taste. I wanted to send a message to manager but there was not way to contact anyone. He spent $10 on this…😠

Had the reserved room for a party. When we got there it was already being used. This meant we had no time to setup prior to guest arriving. Whoever is in charge of reservations needs to consider clean-up and set-up time between reservations. Then we closed the door between the main dining room and the reserved area but the building design has no air conditioning vents in that area. It was unbelievably hot and stuffy. The food was excellent. The staff serving us were super helpful and did all they could to assist.

Was here two hours having breakfast. In two hours did not see one table outside being bussed. Had to wipe down our own table prior to sitting the young girl checking us out was super sweet and helpful, but have not seen any of the staff even walk around the restaurant since we got here. La Madeline is going downhill and pretty obvious that management does not read reviews.

Second visit to see if things changed after the brunt of the pandemic. The service was good at first, but once you're done ordering they don't really want to deal with you afterwards; literally, they'll walk right past you without batting an eye. Poor hygiene. Had to stand for minutes on end just to get some to-go boxes. Salad tasted like water and the chicken was bland. Overall, not coming back here again.

We ate only dessert so can't really speak to the food. Staff could have been more friendly and attentive. Seemed her mind was not really focused on what she was doing. Made me feel like we were an imposition

NOT recommended for large business group catering orders. Admins, you will look bad if you order from the Overton Park location. Even though the order was placed more than 24 hours in advance, the food arrived over 30 minutes late after multiple calls to the store. The sandwich labels were face down in the boxes, so no one knew what sandwich they were getting; the Caesar salad was just lettuce with no shredded Parmesan. This order was thrown together. Also, to top it off, the La Madeleine delivery girl was verbally rude as she was getting on the elevator. After spending over $300+ with tip included, it was not worth the stress and rudeness from your Overton Park, Fort Worth, TX location and their staff.

I give your place 4 stars for the food sale for the service, I believe the manager was the one who helped us and was very nice. But they need to deep clean the place, in fact all the “La Madeleine” cafes that I have been to need a deep cleaning….

This used to be a favorite place for lunch or dinner- no more! Firstly, the employees were extremely unfriendly and seemed disoriented when taking our order. Secondly, the food came out cold. Most concerning, the chicken was also lukewarm, begging the question if proper care is taken in regard to refrigeration. Lastly, the portions were surprisingly stingy, especially considering the considerable recent increases in price. Would not recommend!

Another great place for a delicious meal. Pastries baked daily, a wide selection. Enjoy.

I go here every other week for a knitting group. The staff is also super helpful and kind, and the restaurant is always clean. Occasionally the coffee by the soda fountains won't be very hot later in the evening but that's my only real complaint. Food is consistent. Although I will say the crepes while yummy are not feeling enough to be worth their price IMHO.

Desserts and very rich and yummy. We sat by the fire while we ate our desserts. I had a caramel crème brûlée and my husband had the lemon tart. Will definitely come back.

I love the Chicken Caesar Salad, but they no longer grill the chicken or keep it nice and warm like they used to. They were unable to even warm it when asked. Please have an option to have the chicken warm if requested

Food is always good. My favorite is their Cesar Salad with chicken and the Linzer Cookies. Can't go wrong with a soup either. My friend and I love meeting there for lunch. It's always clean and friendly service.

This is my favorite French restaurant in Ft. Worth! It offers authentic French cuisine, all homemade. They have a delightful and plentiful bakery with delicious treats in regular and mini size. They have brunch and mimosas all day. Perfect atmosphere with a fireplace in the middle of the dining room plus outdoor patio to eat. They offer military discounts too!

It’s quality is usually good but it’s kind of inconsistent. We ordered the Croque Monsieur and the Chicken Friand. The Croque was pretty scant but the Chicken Friand was really good. The coffee was wonderful and so were the pastries. So I would say, go for the coffee and the pastries because they are a can’t miss.

Is atmosphere a big part of the dining experience? Do you care about how a place feels when you step in the door? The atmosphere has always been good for me. The food isn't going to win any awards and I wouldn't call it French, but it's good food. I do wish they could create some sound baffles for the rooms as it's a bit noisy. It would make the atmosphere even better. Being from out of town it's a good place that serves consistent quality. Somebody try the mushroom soup and let me know what you think.

Quiche was very dry and no flavor. My French Onion soup was barely warm. When I ask if they still offered bread she said there was none sliced since she was only person working. Two other employees were standing around doing nothing. She did bring me some bread with my meal. Definitely not impressed with food at this location.
