Pretty quiet during the day. We go for walks and duck watching. Nice pond and fountain. Picnic tables, benches and restrooms. Skateboard park towards the back.

I'll always be fond of this park. I called it the "Duck Pond" park when we first came to Texas in 1981. Life has a way of bringing us back to where we once we're and living close I can visit more often. It's nothing like it used to be but traces are still there. Quack Quack Funny little story, in 5th grade I was visiting the park and happened upon a duck best. I knew better but being a kid. I took one of the eggs and tried to incubate it at home tucked inside my water bed. Lol No it didn't hatch and when my mom found out she wasn't too happy with me.

Have gone to this park for years. Have enjoyed each trip with the kids. Playground has fun things for the little ones as well as the older kids (7-12yrs.) Don't forget to stop by the duck pond to see the wild ducks that call it home. Just watch your steps.

Peaceful little Park on a Monday morning. Lots of squirrels chasing other squirrels. Nice little Pond full of ducks that like to eat bread and freak your kids out unintentionally. I think fishing is allowed in this pond also. Baseball fields, tennis courts and I think there's a child's playground somewhere around here.

Kind of a cool park, with a lot of green, some rather crazy ducks, enough bathrooms, and a lot of sports. The trails are nice and great for a walk, although surprisingly short. I have to say that we were creeped out by how often we saw cops circling through the lot. They gave us the impression that the area or the park itself must have a lot of crime.

A wonderful Park with a handful of things to do. Skate park, baseball fields, and 3 different play areas including swings and a climbing wall. The duck pond is very well maintained, grounds are always kept clean. This is a perfect place for pictures as well any time of year.

Peaceful I bring my kids to this duck park and also take naps during my travels so that I don't end up sleepy on the road..

👍👍 This is a great museum with many fascinating presentations and amazing artifacts. I highly recommend a visit. The cost is a very reasonable 7.00 and the tour is self-guided. Plan to spend about 90 minutes or so for the tour. There is a 30 min video that is good to watch before you begin...

👍👍 It's been a while since my visit, but today I have been reading thru my copy of "Echoes of Yesterday" (Betty McCrary Dickey) and W.S. Schools history came alive again for me. Great book! From first grade in 1954 thru 1966, White Settlement was pure joy for me. Great time to be a child in America...
