What a unique ramen place! Their menu is diverse and unlike any other ramen place I've been too. It gives you a family vibe and the service was great. 10/10 would recommend

The Chasu ramen is fantastic. I really liked the egg and the broth. It has a nice and laid back atmosphere.

This place is AMAZING I finished my entire bowl including most of the broth, and some of my girlfriend's as well!! We both got the BBQ pork ramen and it was great, I highly recommend that and the egg rolls are very delicious as well. We will definitely be returning

It was good, just missing that “umph”. I got the chiefs special and asked for it to be spicy but it wasn’t even a 1 star spicy level 🤔 overall it was good but not something I’d go back to. My husband enjoyed it and said it was better than most ramen places he’s been to. The service was good and the server/cashier was super sweet.

Average ramen place, with 2 major critics: appetizers I had and the seaweed salad were way too sweet, to the point that we just could not finish them. I’m the type of person that does not waste, but i had too. Chefs: please use a pinch of sugar and not a tablespoon. Noodles were average and here again, too salty, just way too much. Sad

I just had the vegetarian broth Vegetarian Raman here. It is the best I’ve ever had. The broth was yummy, the egg was so well marinated and the tofu super crunchy. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time at this Ramen house. My comparative is Kazaki Ramen in Olympia,WA. I basicly paid $17 for a bland bowl of Ramen I got the chefs special w/o corn. The broth is decent but it doesn't season up the meat or veggies. Great customer service though i'd just recommend balancing the flavor of this particular bowl " chefs special" Thank you :)

Plenty of ramen choices for various appetites, including vegetarian options. I went with the #1 Chef Special, broth and noodles were delicious. Service was extremely quick considering it was the lunch hour. Seating can be a bit crammed but the food makes up for it.

Very enjoyable prices were fairly average I had the chef choice (I believe) ramen it was great other than the super dry meat cuts, the squid rings were devinely soft and tender and outside perfectly crispy no soggy breading and thank goodness the dipping sauce for it wasn't over glorified ketchup it was a nice all be it sweet tangy sauce that paired well with said squid rings. The Japanese beers on draft were both very nice smooth and very light as is characteristic of what you'd think of a Japanese beer. The chocolate mochi was also nice though Abit too cold to enjoy the flavors only really shined through holding it to warm in your mouth. But over all very nice place

On a cold rainy day, it was nice to side down inside for some nice hot ramen. Who doesn’t love ramen? It was also right around the corner from our hotel too.

When it comes to soup, I'm all about the broth! It has to taste homey and hearty with flavor that comes from fresh ingredients. WOW did House of Ramen deliver. Whoever is cooking back there LOVES to cook. It’s the best way I can describe the flavor, LOVE. Had the chef’s special (#1 on the menu) because it came with pork - sign of a good chef, when pork in a dish, doesn’t result in a greasy/slick residue on the mouth when eating. The pork was not only juicy, but the ramen was so bold and delicate all at once. No grease floating to the top, overpowering the taste. Bok choy was tender with just the right amount of snap in every bite. The nori added that sea salty goodness that brought it all together with flavored eggs. The ramen made me feel like I was visiting home and my grandma made it special, just for me. WHEW it was SO good, I almost helped clean up tables after I was done. Will absolutely be back!

House of Ramen is a hidden gem! This restaurant has a very cozy and warm atmosphere that I believe would be a place for everyone. The server was especially nice and polite and honestly quite good looking🫢. He was extremely sweet with us and I would appreciate his presence in all circumstances. The ramen was authentic and delicious and I would highly recommend this place for anyone. Thank you House of Ramen for a delicious and wonderful meal. I will definitely be back

Awesome ramen spot for a quick bowl. Super friendly staff and fast service. Would definitely be a regular here if I lived here! They offer rice noodles as a gluten free option which I loved, and you can switch broth in the soups too.

My GF's kiddos fave spot for good reason. Seating is a bit tight, but the food is amazing. Their willingness to tweak food for autistic folk is a big plus too

Absolutely epic spot. Noodles were on point and the broth was to die for. Super nice staff and cozy dining area. Perfect for a rainy day meal and people watching out the windows. Definitely enough food you'll be bringing some home and glad you did! It's just as good the next day.

Honestly, a fantastic experience here. I was staying at the Porter around the corner and wandered in for some dinner. Awesome service, fantastic ramen, booze on point. The price was right. I'll be stopping by again next time I'm in town.

Hannah, one of the employees is so kind and wonderful, she’s recognized me from a few visits and we always have wonderful conversation. She deserves a raise most definitely. I also love the ramen but mostly Hannah ❤️

I went here twice.. one for a vegan bowl and one for a vegetarian bowl. Idk if the vegan bowl was just old at the end of the week.. or because it needs work. The vegetarian was better. Would love fresher ingredients to be better for vegan. Thank you.

This was really great ramen. Ate the Chef's Special, as the server recommended. Did not disappoint. The eggs are fantastic and the ginger added such a lovely flavor. I scarfed the whole bowl down! Also, reasonably priced compared to some of the other ramen places in the area. Felt authentic. 🖤

This is the best ramen I've ever had. I got the chicken ramen with no eggs, no ginger, and added corn because I'm weird like that. But it was delicious 😋 and the staff was real nice. Totally worth checking out if you like ramen and are ever in Portland.

Good portion bowl. Got the chefs special and was full by the end -1⭐ Thai tea is 3/4 ice.

Delicious vegetarian ramen, and they were able to make their Thai iced tea with less sugar (a rarity, I’ve found). Everything was delicious!

I tried this ramen shop for lunch today while doing my jury duty service. They have many selections to offer and many different soup bases. I when with the kyushu which is the tonkotsu soup base. The Chinese BBQ pork was nice and thin but a little dry, which is how I find it most if the time. The soup base was excellent the noodle texture is nice and firm. The other toppings are very good as well. They are worth another visit to try and sample more of the different offerings. I do recommend this place for people to try.

Great Shoyu ramen, the ginger was a bit too much though. Gyoza's and salad rolls were really good too.

If you like ramen, stop what you're doing right now and visit this place! Amazing tasting food and fair prices - make sure to be hungry when you come because the portions are big! This will definitely become part of my restaurant rotation.

The food was top notch and I’m glad they gave me the meal exactly how I asked(Extra Spicy). I will be coming back to this location before the year is out. No complaints from anyone in my party.

This ramen was SO delicious my husband and I ate here twice during our honeymoon in Portland. I personally couldn't get enough of the broths. I was so stuffed after leaving both times. Service was curt and quick in this neat little ramen shop, but we didn't mind. The food came out just as fast which was perfect after a long day of walking around. If ramen is something you are a fan of eating- you have to stop here! There's quite the variety of ramen bowls and customization options too. If this restaurant was in my town, I would be eating here at least once a week.
