Beautiful location. Excellent food, wine and service. Highly recommend the wine degustation with Alexander. It made the whole trip to Moldova worthwhile.

If you have plans to be in Moldova you must include a visit to Purcari. It is a bit of a drive so be prepared. They do have a small hotel as part of the winery so it is possible to stay the night. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The tour was delightful. Not the biggest winery but was well kept and the tour guide was knowledgeable and very personable. I did a tasting of 8 of their wines, 2 whites, 5 reds and an ice wine. I must say I am not a wine expert by any definition. I have spent the past several years tasting wines trying to find what I like. Every wine that I tasted at this winery was the absolute best I have every had, from anywhere. It gave me a new standard by which all others should be compared. As each of us are different and have different tastes all I can recommend is you should find out for yourself.

Had a great time with my friends! Did the tour, got a table and had dinner. My friends got some traditional food, I had a duck breast which came cold. The server wasn’t friendly, didn’t check on us to see if everything came fine. I was too hungry to ask to get another one. That’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars.

The wines are great, the landscapes and the gardens near the winery are beautiful! Was a bit disappointed in the restaurant which serves ok food (not great) and the buildings started to show their age and need renovation. Otherwise is a great place for one day escape from the city!

Great place especially summer time

Must visit when in Moldova. Fantastic local, world-renowned, wines. Quaint, gorgeous setting within eye-shot of Ukraine. Not the best tour or behind the scenes you will find but it is what it is. Grab a tasting, grab a table and enjoy the setting over some amazing wine.

Very beautiful place that everyone should go to if passing through. It seems like a place for weddings, or a good getaway.

Purcari is one of the best known and highest quality Moldovan wineries. A visit to the rural location is well worth a weekend trip. The hotel is comfortable and cozy with breakfast included. Be sure to take the wine tour which is informative and interesting, and of course sample the varieties of vino. Reds are their strong suit, but the sparkling and ice wine hold up quite well too. Sommeliers are knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious local cuisine.

After the wine tour of the winery and the production facility, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and stayed overnight. The rooms are very accommodating with everything that you need. We strolled the beautiful property, there are two small lakes with the docks where are you can enjoy a glass of wine, a playground for the kids with hammocks, free bicycles and some paddle cars all that surrounded by vine.
