Good food and a helpful waitress! The restaurant would have earned 5 stars. The hotel, however, was a big disappointment. The size and quality of the room is not worth the money they charge for that, and the utter inflexibility of the staff was annoying.

The most authentic place in Gagauzia. We came for the restaurant and the hospitality was beyond any expectations and the food was excellent. There is also a small souvenir shop with local stuff. Highly recommended

Expect at least 2 hours before getting your food in, and that's in a slow day. Untrained staff and even the owner mentioned that this is ok for them to take so much time to even communicate about the delay and the food order.

A very interesting hotel/restaurant/museum which gives an idea to visitors about Gagauuz Culture. A very wide range of home made wines, champagnes are served to customers. The food and wine are delicious. The Guided tour provided for tourists is informative and entertaining.

Didn't have time to sit and eat as we were just passing by, but the atmosphere was great and the staff were very nice and welcoming!

I've never been this disgusted before. I can't believe this restaurant is so popular when the food I received was excessively oily and tasteless. You probably have a 5-star rating solely for the decor because, when it comes to the food, I wouldn't even give it a single star. With such high prices for Moldova, I assume you want to attract tourists, but what kind of tourists are you trying to attract if none of the waitstaff speaks any language other than Russian?

Beautiful place, delicious food, but not having English speaking waiters, is a pitty, as multiple guests are not russian speakers. Lucky we had someone speaking russian, otherwise we have left. Also, having a meniu in Russian and English, and not in the language of country Moldova is sad!

If you are ever in Moldova. Please stop by this place. The service was impeccable. There is a wine cellar where you can select a bottle of wine for dinner. They also offer bread making classes. The owner is really nice as well. 💕💕💕

In general, our expectation were a bit higher tnan reality. Mainly we did not expect the portions of food wouldb be so small. The prices in the restaurant are higher than usually at such places. Though the food is tasty. The territory and rooms in eco-style are superb! The linnen on the beds and matrasses are of the highest quality! Everything is designed with great care and taste. We had good time there and definitely recommend this place.

The host is very friendly, but we had a big group and we had to wait because it was also the staff of an embassy there. It's a very traditional house ans they also have an event hall. The food was worth waiting for.

Service was decently good but the administration gives off a stiff and arrogant Stalinist impression, as if they forgot they are in hospitality/service business. Lack of a friendly mood towards people and even a smile ruins the input provided by the staff and kitchen.

Gagauz cuisine is a blend of Turkish, Bulgarian, and Russian influences, resulting in a unique and delicious flavor profile. If you're looking for an authentic Gagauz dining experience, then Gagauz Sofrasi is definitely worth checking out. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with traditional decor that reflects the culture and history of the Gagauz people. The extensive menu features classic Gagauz dishes such as manti, Samsa, and shorba. The food is prepared fresh and cooked to perfection, with bold flavors and spices that will tantalize your taste buds. Gagauz Sofrasi is a great place to indulge in delicious Gagauz cuisine and is home to a few friendly cats. These furry friends roam around the restaurant, and their presence adds to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the place. The restaurant has a warm and homely ambiance that's perfect for cat lovers. You can enjoy your meal while the cats lounge around or play nearby. It's a lovely touch that makes Gagauz Sofrasi unique and charming.

Positive side: interesting place to visit with traditional local food, exceptional museum, and beautiful wine cellar. Due to poor visibility (cars were parked on the side of the main road) we got help to drive back on the main road. Negative side: the place is too small for the events they organise, it feels quite crowdy. No playground for kids. Staff talk just in Russian language; it is a shame they do not talk Romanian and not even English as most of their guests are Romanian language talking people (from Moldova and Romania). Recommendations: Greet the customer with a smile.

Wonderful place, the only minus is that the staff doesn't speak Romanian, which makes the things quite difficult.

This is a must visit place. The staff wear traditional clothing. The food was very good. They have beautiful grounds with a garden. There is an antique house you can pay for a tour of. This place is also like a hotel I think it's 750 mdl a night and they have bicycles for guests to use. You would be in a rural area about two hours from Chisinau.

This is a big restaurant and it has many private rooms made in Gagauz style. Very traditional. The servers were knowledgeable and very friendly. They made some great suggestions for the food choices.

I stopped there for lunch. Excellent environment and delicious lamb dishes! The road north and south of Congaz is not interesting so this was my highlight.
