Though the tourism is starting to rise with many facilities but in some areas, there are abandoned buildings that need to be lighten up. I am glad that there is no paying more to the gate (retribution), so we can easily roam through the straight street of Pantai Panjang. You can visit the main area (with the name of Pantai Panjang on it and in front of Sport Center Bengkulu) or you can walk/ ride across the street to the Marlborough Fortress. The culinary spots are spread across the street, i always remember to enjoy grilled fish cracker with sweet spicy sauce, crab satay, fruit salad (rujak), and of course variety seafoods. you need to save some money only for the parking area here or using facilities such as bikes or horse riding. This is a must place to visit when you are in Bengkulu. Happy visit!
