One
of
the
best
budget
accomodations
you
could
find
in
Bengkulu.
Located
near
to
the
Pantai
Panjang
beach.
Amenities
provided
are
adequate
and
suit
your
budget
especially
for
back
packers.
They
provide
you
breakfast
of
your
choice
and
sent
personally
each
morning
to
their
guests
whom
are
fast
asleep
early
in
the
morning.
Property
owner
was
a
generous
and
kind
lady.
After
my
stay
for
three
days
enjoying
the
seaside
walk
and
doing
some
shopping
for
the
local
specialties,
I
had
to
go
back
to
Palembang
City
using
a
private
taxi
or
"Travel"
as
they
are
popularly
known
to
the
locals.
I
had
problems
communicating
with
the
taxi
driver
as
I
was
not
fluent
with
and
fully
understood
the
local
language.
I
seek
the
assistance
of
the
lady
property
owner
to
talk
to
the
driver
using
my
cellphone
to
guide
him
so
that
he
can
fetch
me
at
Tropicana
Guest
House.
Judging
from
the
conversation
between
the
lady
and
the
taxi
driver,
it
seems
that
the
taxi
driver
was
not
familiar
with
the
route
heading
to
the
said
property
although
the
lady
had
given
him
the
precise
instruction
and
details
the
route
he
should
use.
Without
giving
up,
the
lady
persistently
guide
the
driver
through
the
phone
conversation.
After
about
forty
minutes,
the
driver
finally
reached
the
pick
up
point.
He
told
the
lady
that
he
had
already
passed
the
route
twice
but
overlooked
the
guesthouse's
signboard
displayed
clearly
by
the
roadside.
I
packed
all
my
baggage
and
thanks
the
lady
for
her
help
without
which
I
don't
know
how
am
I
going
to
talk
and
guide
the
taxi
driver
due
to
my
language
differences.
We
left
the
property
and
headed
to
Lubuklinggau
train
station
through
the
long
and
winding
roads
which
runs
along
the
hillside
and
deep
ravines
for
about
three
and
a
half
hours.
As
a
reminder
to
other
travellers
like
me
who
opt
for
long
distance
travel
by
road,
it's
best
if
you
take
an
Express
bus.
The
taxi
driver
(Travel)
that
I
booked
drove
his
car
as
if
no
one
else
are
with
him.
Rushing
and
driving
like
crazy
to
reach
his
destination.
He
drove
like
the
road
only
belongs
to
him
without
ever
considering
the
safety
of
the
passengers.
As
a
foreigner,
I
couldn't
complain
much.
While
seated
and
cramped
at
the
last
row
with
baggages
on
our
lap
with
my
partner
in
his
Toyota
Avanza,
we
prayed
all
the
way
hoping
to
reach
our
destination
safely.
This
will
be
my
last
ride
with
the
so
called
Travel,
if
they
want
to
show
their
skill
of
driving,
please
do
it
alone,
we
still
look
forward
for
a
far
better
things
in
our
life.
