El-Ourit Waterfalls are located seven kilometers from the city of Tlemcen, near the National Road of Algeria in a mountainous area covered with pine trees. Seven stepped cascades form the natural site of Oued El-Ourit, which remained dry for 40 years before reappearing in 2009.

(Translated by Google) The Tlemcenian countryside offers its visitors attractive, invigorating and ritual walks, such as the majestic site of the El Ourit waterfalls (abyss) with its imposing rocks dominating a nest of greenery where once flowed different sources on stone slabs. The Gorges of El Ourit are, according to historians, a real legend. They poured downstream of the Mefrouche dam, their water from a height of about 68 meters, causing marvelous falls.

Waterfall is a really beautiful place in the world. It's a perfect getaway from the stresses of everyday life and offers breathtaking views of the tlmcean. It's also home to some great restaurants and shops, all with an island feel. It has always been a dream of mine to visit this place and I'm so glad I finally have!

It is so relaxing place to hung around with friends or family. Waterfall and a small lake not for swimming of course just to hear the sound of water falling and birds singing.

(Translated by Google) An insignificant place. Dirty, very dirty, it's practically a sewer. A little trickle of water (in February, not even in times of drought), I would never have dared to call it a waterfall. It was depressing. Do not waste your time and 100 DA in racketeering and instead go directly to visit the cave of Béni Add. (Original) Un endroit insignifiant.

(Translated by Google) Lorit waterfall is the highest waterfall in Algeria. It is located seven kilometers from the city of Tlemcen, near the national road in Algeria in a mountainous area covered with pine trees. The total length of the waterfall is 350 meters and 120 meters straight fall. The Orit waterfall consisted of seven natural layers forming the Orit valley, and it remained dry for 40 years after a furnished dam was built before its re-emergence in 2009. The Orit waterfall belonging to the Tlemcen National Park was built above this waterfall a steel railway bridge by the famous Frenchman Gustave Eiffel Maker of the Eiffel Tower in the nineteenth century and was nicknamed Eiffel. This fresh source almost became a dry area after diverting its course to a furnished dam, which led to the drying of the waterfall for 40 years, but the local authorities became aware of the danger, which led to the restoration of normal life to this famous site.
