Staff were friendly and professional, beautiful property, the spa pool being accessible was a win. Lots of activities but also space for quiet time. Carlos from the entertainment crew got us up and involved in lots of activities, always smiling .....great energy! Buffet was by far our favorite place to eat, top quality and consistency! The food in the restaurants need some improvement it's the only reason to make this a 4 star not 5. Beds very comfortable.

My husband and I came to the Grand for our honeymoon, we cannot rave enough about the experience we had. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and gorgeous. The atmosphere from the pool to the restaurants were lively and fun throughout our entire stay. The entertainment staff by the pool had us laughing and having fun every single day. Mostly, we can’t praise the staff that helped us throughout the week enough. Manuel and Trinidad created the most romantic experiences with my husband for me and I cannot stress enough how amazing they were. From reservations, to flowers in our room, to a gorgeous beach dinner, Trinidad and Manuel made this honeymoon unforgettable. Thankful is an understatement for these two employees!

We had such a wonderful week here on vacation. The beach is extremely well taken care of, the food and drinks are delicious, and the service is fantastic at all levels. Everyone makes you feel welcome. I also want to give special recognition to our butler staff (Manuel, Luis, Trini, and Marcelo). They looked after us well and made sure we had everything we needed in our room and that all of our reservations were scheduled correctly. They all helped make our vacation feel extra special!

Great Vacation! Food was always amazing 👍 staff was friendly and always helpful! Rodolfo, Mauro, Marcelo, Gustavo and Antonio were always checking in with us and helping our stay be the best it could be! Alex Mendoza was great and helpful too! The beach was beautiful with the softest sand. The view from our room was to die for, with the view of the ocean. Lots to do on the resort with many activities. Carlos and Luis became like close friends 😊 Would recommend this resort to anyone!

Ruben and Gus were amazing! We had a great trip. The room was clean and beautiful. Butler service was fantastic. Food was great especially at Toni’s and buffet. Spa and beach and pools were beautiful. Look forward to returning!

We had a fantastic stay at the Grand! This is the second year in a row that we come in November and the weather is perfect! The food at the buffets and the specialty restaurants was excellent and the service is unmatched!! Alma and Luis were especially great at making sure that everyone was having a good time both during the daytime pool & beach activities and the evening activities in the lobby and Rhapsody. They were a lot of fun and very personable. We will definitely be back next November!

This was our second time at Iberostar Mayan Riviera, but the first time at the Grand Paraiso Resort, We had an upper floor ocean view room and it exceeded our expectations. It was large , with a great balcony, and all the amenities you might need and then some. But the best feature of staying here was the butler service. They were always more than willing to help, whether it was making reservations for dinner, giving us rides to wherever we wanted to go in the resort, arranging for a bottle of champagne in your room, or taking our picture on the beach. In particular , we have to thank Luis, Antonio, and Marcelo who worked ax a great team to make our stay very enjoyable. It is also worth noting that the food in the buffets and a la cartel restaurants was also very good and the service at all locations was excellent.

We loved our stay here in paradise! There was always something to do or just relax by the pool or beach. Everything was always so clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Marco was lots of fun and full of energy whenever we saw him. My only complaint would be the pool/hot tubs closed too early and the hot tubs were not very warm. On our anniversary they were able to squeeze us in to the steakhouse (Toni’s) which was amazing and then we came back to our room decorated with rose petals. It was fun for big groups and couples. The shopping center is close by which makes for an easy escape from the resort if you need it. I hope we can make it back here again soon!
