Really awesome pub and restaurant with great service and excellent food. This is a splendid pub for get togethers with friends and family. I highly recommend this venue.

Not a fan, everytime I go there glass is being thrown and fights are breaking out and me personally I don't like such environments leaves me feeling very uneasy and anxious. It's obviously someone's cup of tea just not mine.

There was no waiter or staffmember greeting us or asking us to have a seat.We just walked in and sat at the bar as no one helped us. The barmen didnt talk to you or smile which made requests for drinks akward. Once we moved to a open bench outside after having our first drink a waiter approached us 15 minutes later to ask us if we wanted any drinks or food to order. Their seats are a bit close to each other for my taste, because you can hear each others conversations across tables even with music playing.

Went there yesterday 11/03/2022. One of the things I observed was how exclusive the owner was when going around making people taste what looked like wors. Didnt even acknowledge us. He intentionally skipped our table - TWICE. The waiters obviously saw this and possibly people sitting around my partner and I in other tables. Not sure if our being the only black people there was the reason. Service from waiters was average. Food was great though especially their spicy barbecue and pork basket. The one rating is not for the food but for the treatment by the owner. Anyone can make great food, it takes great service to bring customers back. Money has no race..

We are locals- decided to give it another try after all the bad publicity the last few years. James is absolutely fabulous as a waiter. He knew exactly what we needed and how to accommodate our needs. Perfect cocktails to my needs and cappuccino to our liking. Food was awesome. 3rd time around- another waiter served us and looked so tired, he was just disconnected. Forgot items for 2x times etc. Today- Waiter again looked so tired, I could not get the same service as with James. Cocktail was more like a watery slushy, some food items tasted old, and just no interest....I almost felt sorry for the waiter. Victor was just overworked and tired....I will only visit when James is on duty.....

The bouncers physically pulled somebody out of their car as they were leaving, who was admittedly looking for trouble earlier in the night, and beat him to a pulp. They took his car keys and quietly handed it to the owner who disappeared into the pub. The head bouncer shouted at the rest of his team to steal the guys phone. His girlfriend tried to pull them off and they proceeded to throw her to the ground and start hitting her too. They stole her phone too as she was recording the whole incident. Another girl attempted to pull the bouncers off the girl, screaming at them and broke her nail in the process. They then demanded that they buy back their phones for R500 each and demanded that they delete the footage. Stay away after sunset!

Food is great and affordable. Tends to draw a younger, rowdier crowd towards the evening. All and all it is a good, fun place with cheap drinks. Not bad for a bite on a Sunday and a young party on a Friday.

Had an amazing time with friends and family, the vibe is awesome, the people are friendly, if you just put for a beer, or out for a party, they have it all.

Well this was my second time in Benoni and I had to check out Dingo's this time. And what can I say but that I enjoyed the times I came here, the drinks were quite affordable, the food yummy and also affordable sometimes there's a DJ which adds to the positive atmosphere of the place. I definitely recommend you go there on Wednesday and Saturday evenings as that's the club times but if something mellow is your thing then most likely you can stay outside in verandah and you won't be bothered much by the noise. The only drawback for me was the slightly long wait time for the food and perhaps the smoking but it wasn't too much of an issue. Go there for your next evening out, I promise you won't regret it!

We ordered the Portugese platter and chicken livers take away and it was the worst I've ever experienced. Didn't even eat any of it. Otherwise we always enjoy the vibe during the day and the bar staff is awesome. Thank you !

Overall, the drinks are fine and no complaints. I was heavily disappointed with a specific meal - the basket porky. 1. Salty fried chips 2. Salty pork pieces 3. The sausages, I will call it, tasted off. In the end I decided to get a takeaway and give it to the less fortunate.

The place was packed with only 2 waters to serve. The food was terrible. The prawns tasted like bokkoms, and it was ice cold. Bring back the management from cools they were better

I really love going to this pub. Tuesdays are the absolute best as they have a quiz night with some really awesome vouchers up for grabs. Their food is pretty awesome as well, with a wide variety to pick from. There are plenty drink specials to make yoir evening fun as well.

The place used to be nice and popular when it was the Keg after the new owner took over and it became Dingo's it has taken quite a while because the place had such a good reputation before but it has become synonymous with sleazy. The bartenders steal your money, the bouncers man-handle girls and people think the place is fight club. I wouldn't go there if they sent me a gold-embossed invite and I'm fairly sure the owner gets 99% of his confidence from the fact that he dated me 8years ago when I was nothing even though I paid for it in real time and have paid for it a hundred times over and he is no way any friend of mine whatsoever. PS. The photo on the business listing has a sign saying Zuma Must Go. Mike the owner and most of the patrons at that bar agreed that Zuma would never be kicked out.

During the week Dingo's functions as a good pub experience with absolutely fantastic food (Do yourself a favor and try the Nachos) and a nice atmosphere for people of all ages. During weekend nights Dingo's becomes a great place for the younger crowd to enjoy a night of dancing and drinking. Drink specials are on frequently so price isn't much of an issue.

Definitely for a younger crowd. Though it may have 'Pub and Restaurant' in the title, it has more of Night Club feel, just without the entrance fee. Drink prices are low, which is probably what draws in the younger crowd. The general ethnicity leans a bit in the one direction, but that can't be blamed on the place and is simply a result of the location. The music plays at night club volumes, so don't expect to have a general conversation like you would at a pub or a bar. The parking lot is the only complaint I have about the place. The parking area is small and difficult to navigate, especially when you have a number of cars going in multiple directions, which is also that result of another parking lot that connects directly with this one.

Dingos continues to be a great hang out on weekends, mostly for the younger croud. A nice vibe, good music, dance floor and meals combine to make it a great place. The dance floor is the best part. There is also an upper deck which is a little quieter of you want to chat.

I had no idea that Portuguese chicken was that good. And the place was top notch the service, the music, just everything was perfect, you people have really outdone yourself keep up the good work.

We popped in for a lunch and will definitely be back. It's lovely to have options of sitting at the bar, upstairs on the deck or downstairs. I found the menu offered a great variety of meal options. The potato skins with cheese and bacon were divine and my hubby noted the chicken schnitzel was one of the best he's had. Staff were welcoming and attentive without being overbearing which we appreciated

My experience might be skewed, but here it is. Ive visited dingos a few times over the years, but recently I joined up with someone I really enjoy spending time with. My crush of 5 years. During our visit there, we almost never had to wait for a beer. Shots were pushed oht quick and clean. Bar tender really knew his job. Cant remember his name. But my hats off to the owners and staff for making it such a fun place. Oh and best of all. The wait staff are never in the way. Always there, but they know how to navigate drunken crowds.

Great place for a quick lunch. Helpful staff and prices not bad. Entrance next to Shell Garage have ample parking and not too busy. Can eat and see your vehicle i parking area.

Functionally more a pub than a restaurant, what it does offer in food is well cooked, tasty and very reasonably priced. The regulars I was with said that the night I was was there was not that busy, which made the long wait for our chickens wings and calzones (called calzonias here) a bit unreasonable. I suppose if you are enjoying a drink makes the waiting time seem to go faster, but my friends even had enough time for a round of pool. Dingos ( which was named The Keg & Eagle before of I'm not mistaken) is part of the fabric of social life in this part of the East Rand and so it should be.

Its definitely now a bad place to hang out during the day. The drinks are reasonably priced, the owner is friendly, and Dingo the dog is just so cute. The food portions are mostly well sized. I haven't yet had a bad food experience there yet. The only warning is Saturday nights (And possibly Friday) the crowd gets a bit rough, lots of drinking going on, but that is par for the course. I would recommend for anyone seeking a pub vibe to visit.

Dingos is by far my favorite place to go out and have drinks dance the night away on Friday and Saturday nights. The DJ's are amazing and now they have my favorite Spirit Cooler available LaWater Passion fruit. Just an amazing delicious must have SpiriT Cooler.

I didn't eat there this time. They have a varied menu. Venue not for families. There was loadshedding and their generator was not working so we sat in the semi-darkness for two hours. Candles were brought but the wind blew them out. Drinks service was good. Not my favourite place as it is a youngsters hangout with hubbly and vaping stink, and two indoor bars with music blaring.

Wow I was totally amazed. Sunday I bought chicken fillets with a cheese and mushroom sauce the chicken fillets were humungous. Then u got veg of the day and it was Squash,green beans in a sauce and spinach. I love the interior design of the place which is what attracted me. But I had a bad experience with the waiter attending my friend and I. We wanted to go to the car to fetch our jackets and my phone, and the waiter insisted that we pay for the meal before we leave. I was very confused because it's a restaurant how do I pay for a meal I haven't yet received, was running through my head. So we ended up paying and he still looked at us as if he wanted us to add him a Tip. 😂 Funny man

I went there alone and waited for service. I was never served after 30 minutes. The waiters served a couple that came after me. I was ignored. I think the waiters reckoned that the tip was from one person was not worth their while. No manager came along to see how I was doing. This is disgraceful, shocking service.

Food is great at really affordable prices. Atmosphere can be great depending on which day you go and what time. Please decrease temperature of your draughts. Food is really tasty though.

Nice venue during the day, service ok, could be a bit better, but staff all very friendly. Drinks are cheap and chilled atmosphere, l just wish they would get rid of the ravel at night, then l will happily support them more.

Very good place for a family to get a good meal, or for friends to throw a bachelors party. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is clean at all times. If there is a spill, it's cleaned immediately and not just left. Really enjoyed it a lot.
