The food in this place is simply amazing - I had lamb chops and they were really good. They have the biggest cuts of meat I've ever seen, that applies to their steak too. Also had some mocktails, which were really great so that's something to look forward too if you don't drink alcohol. Also the samosas they serve before the starters are really good - wish they were listed on the menu.. the mains did take a while to arrive but it was totally worth the wait, highly recommend. Big space with a somewhat vintage feel..

I recently hosted a baby shower for my wife at this restaurant and everything went great. I was assisted by Alice, their Function Coordinator, to make my event a success. Definitely will be going back soon, after the hospitality they showed. The food was great as well. The place is really beautiful 🙌🏾.

I stay at this hotel often and always have diner at their inhouse restautant. I have tried many a option on their menu and WOW. Service is great and the food awesome. Feom their Eisbeins (my favourite) to their vegetarian options. Rooms are clean and neat and electricity is always on due to their own backup generator. A++ raring for AB hotel!!

The food was very tasty, had the Napoletana Beyond Meatballs, definitely going back to try some of the other items in the menu. . The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and even made us a small pre dinner snack that was so good. Hoping that the menu will grow and that we can expect some starters and desserts soon 🤞

A stunning venue for any occasion. I recently attended a wedding there and it quite lovely. Their garden red carpet walkway was a bit impractical as the stone blocks are not really spaced correctly for a carpetted walkway. The food was lovely and the venue is a small slice of heaven hidden for privacy and comfort.

Beautiful set up, well decorated with and a great atmosphere. A fireplace in the middle of the room, could imagine the best warm dinners in winter, wide range of beverages. Food is great, menu scanned from the phone and updated as cuts of meat or desserts ran out. The meat we had was well cooked and just yummy. Service was 10/10. Alfred was a star from recommendations to attention given to our table.

After complaining about the wet salad I got.. This is what i was served! Im a loyal customer at this restaurant but this is beyond pathetic. I don't think this restaurant takes us serious anymore, I really need to take this up with whoever is responsible for the kitchen! I enjoy the company and the atmosphere in this restaurant but the food has become unacceptable to put it mildly! The least you could have done was call me personally as your loyal customer and asked for my version of events as I left a formal written complaint with my details on, but since its your business as the owner I can't question your way of doing things. I don't eat salads with dressing by the way hence I called the manager as I was unhappy to be served a 'wet' salad. I don't have any qualms with your restaurant and I wish you guys the best and thank you kindly for the response.

Great restaurant with an African safari touch to it. Good for wine pairing and relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly staff, only impediment is that they need to teach staff about wine pairing. Also need to teach staff to explain the different meant grades. They have a good variety of grades.

Excellent food with only the (otherwise delicious) pesto pasta main dish slightly over salted, and the yummy volcano dessert not delivering a molten chocolate show, which is why the food rating jussst missed out on a 5. Attentive friendly service, yet we missed the personalised interaction and charm (even confidence and cheek) of an owner, shareholder, or senior manager on the floor. Beautiful gardens and neat decor, with only the choice of music (pub and club tunes) not complementing the elegant environment and great food. Overall though, highly recommended. Would like to see what this chef could do with a vegan or vegetarian menu prepared from scratch. Confident it would be outstanding.

The food was immaculate. The restaurant is priced so reasonably but has such an amazing upmarket Niché to it. Our waitress was alright, I think my only critique is given the quality of such a venue she could've been a little friendlier or cheerful but otherwise her service was great. This will definitely be my date night, important meetings and special occasions go to from now on. I really recommend you try this place

This is an absolute 5 star establishment. The food and service are out of this world. Very safe parking on the premises. We were treated as Royalty by our Waiters, yes Waiters,,, we ordered the Porkchops and vegetables,,, soooooo nice,,

Food was delicious, however there was a function and we felt a little forgotten about. There were also people working in their pajamas and talking loudly re work(in the small room meant for romantic dinners). It was our wedding anniversary and went as they usually have nice romantic atmosphere, this time around however we did not get the service as per prior visits and the atmosphere was awful. Changed my review from 5 stars from prior visit to 3 due to lacking service and awful atmosphere to have an anniversary dinner.

Really good vibe in the restaurant, Nestled in rush of Boksburg. They spoilt us ladies yesterday for Women's day with Champaign and soring rolls, they gave us a sorbet to cleans out pallet before our amazing meal. The Vegan options were short but the the flavor filled food made up for the shortage of options. Will definitely visit again

This was an amazing place to come and have dinner. The meat selection is amazing and served in the most unique way. This combined with equally amazing service made for a great evening. We went through on a Tuesday and each group of diners was seated in such a way to provide a secluded dining experience. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My brother-in-law made a booking at Afrique Boutique Hotel for an intimate birthday dinner for 4. It was our first visit to the hotel. From the moment we entered the secure parking area, we were impressed by the beauty of this place. The front desk staff immediately greeted us and welcomed us. We advised them we had a booking and they escorted us to the restaurant without any delay. What a gorgeous surprise to receive such good service right off the bat! The ambience in the restaurant was absolutely stunning, beautiful décor, great spacious tables and seating, and solid gold hits playing softly in the background. This was exactly what we had hoped the venue would deliver. The serving staff were immediately on hand to take our drinks order and expedited our order timeously. My sister and I took a walk around the premises and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of all the hotel and restaurant staff. They were keen and accommodating, very helpful and answered all our questions about what the venue offered. We ordered our dinner and were blown away by the presentation, we hadn’t even tasted the food yet. We all ordered A La Carte. My sister and I ordered from the Poultry menu: Chicken Macchiato (Chicken cubes with mushrooms and bacon in paprika cream sauce, finished with fresh salsa) and Chicken Roulade (rolled chicken breasts, stuffed with mozzarella, spinach, feta and basil pesto, wrapped with bacon, in a napolitana sauce). My husband and brother-in-law ordered from the Meat Specialities menu: Skilpadjies (wrapped lambs liver, served with pap, chakalaka and sauerkraut), and Grilled Pork Chops (with an apple mustard sauce & gingerbread dijon mustard, finished with viking smoked sea salt, honey & Worcestershire). First came a gorgeous little appetizer in the form of a dainty and delicious samoosa, followed by a palate cleansing sorbet, and then our entree. All our meals were beyond delicious! Wow, wow, wow. So tasty and so beautifully prepared. I cannot say enough about the food! Absolutely hands down worth every penny. The restaurant staff were simply amazing. They checked on us frequently and made sure we were comfortable, providing additional cushions for our chairs. The servers surprised my brother-in-law with a complimentary cappuccino, a sparkler on top of a small slice of red velvet cake and a Happy Birthday song! We weren’t expecting it and it was such a lovely surprise. We had delicious desserts (Italian kisses that were just right, and New York cheesecake). Thank you, Patricia and colleagues, for your amazing service! All compliments to the chef, you are outstanding! We shall definitely be back and can highly recommend Cuisine Afrique Restaurant.

Such a relaxed ambiance with an African feel and menu. The food I had was delicious but their red velvet cake is a must have, absolutely delicious 😋 the service was great. Was served by a very accommodating and polite lady by the name of Grace. I'd recommend it for a relaxed evening with the family.

My Daughter Surprised me and my family for my Birthday, it was the most divine dinning experience I have ever endured since the oyster box. Very classy, food is excellent, waiter staff brilliant. Two gripes, not a fan of reading the menu on my phone, would prefer a hand held menu, and 2, not really the restaurant's fault, but very loud and blunt patrons took away from what would have been a magical dinner.

Food is good...well presented...the decor is lovely. Really four to five stars. Waiters please learn to be more friendly. One waits an age for the food. There is no cheese platter offered on the dessert menu. So two stars for service and friendliness The waiters are guaranteed their 10 percent as this is automatically added hence the service you get. May not return.

Venue is great. Intimate setting for a function. On Saturday 7 March the main course was just okay. Chicken over cooked, pork very salty, pumpkin tasty but mushy instead of fritters. You also ran out of custard with the dessert.

I like their wine collection and the food is prepared from scratch and i ssuper fresh. Great environment there

Visited Cuisine Afrique for the first time this evening. Food, ambience, including stunning artwork, was stunning. Will definitely be back and so positive about bringing close friends too. Only very slight negative was that the choosing of meal on electronic tablet didn't add to our overall wonderful experience.
