I absolutely love Bean There, but then again, who wouldn't?! The service is always incredible and the coffee is just out of this world. This place takes you on a wonderful coffee journey across Africa all in the comfort of a warm and friendly environment. If it's quality coffee you're looking for and not just "vibes" and anesthetics, then this is definitely the place to visit. Oh, do order their carrot cake, it's to die for!

Great coffee shop and coffee supplies store at the funky 44 on Stanley. The cafe is neatly decorated and centred around the main barista station, where magic with coffee beans happens. Being a self confessed coffee snob, this is one of the best out there. The coffee is five star quality. We also went to the cupping experience and time well spent. Not only did we experience great coffee but also learnt that there is a responsibility to sourcing coffee ethically direct from growers. Best carrot cake in town, coffee is definitely the best quality in Jozi and the staff are the best.

Wish I had more time to stay. Café Latte was the best in Joburg (Rwanda beans), but I had to wait a little for the attention. And they forget about my order of Eggtart - in the end it was fine cause I had to leave early anyways. Very nice ambiance for reading a book or working on a project.

The Batista's are very knowledgeable and provided excellent advice on the type of coffee to buy. They also ground my coffee according to the way I like it. It's great purchasing from people who love what they do and the products that they sell. They also sell great coffee beans.

I finally cashed in my Valentine's Gift ❤️ of a cupping session with the love of my life and father of my children 😘!! Throats were opened, lessons were learned and fun was had!! I bought myself some pods and a bag and the lover picked up a nice travel mug 🙃. Perfect date for a coffee lover and co 😉

I saw this online and I decide to try it out since I’m a coffee enthusiast. It was even way better than I expected. From the aesthetics to their coffee. It is usually packed because of the coffee they serve. You can also buy coffee beans and coffee machines to make your own coffee. Their coffee is also at a reasonable price I highly suggest and recommend this place

Fun Saturday coffee shop adventure. We love trying the local coffee roasteries in South Africa. Each one is unique. This location is very hip, lovely decor and a nice amount of seating. Staff is friendly. We did the coffee tasting which was a cute experience but the staff should consider sharing with guests the techniques as they are made, the origin and toast of the coffees used. We had to flag down someone and ask. With tastings one expects at least a card with an explanation of technique/ product of they don’t have time for a personal explanation.

Always the best coffee. I was last here in 2022. I will say even today’s purchase was as good as 2022. The Baristas are very friendly, I could literally sit and chat with them lol. Great atmosphere.

When you walk into the shop, you could see it was made with love. You see people of different backgrounds and culture hanging out and working. The team at Bean There Coffee takes pride in what they do, they make sure each cup of coffee tastes the same! My favourite is the Americano coffee and Cortado.

We did the coffee tasting this past weekend and it was well worth it for R180 per person! I thought we would just be given a few coffees to taste but everything was explained so well and there was a dry and wet taste so the entire experience was about 2 hours. I’ll definitely buy coffee beans from this place for my machine at home!

Good place to explore coffee from different regions. The atmosphere and staff working here are friendly and create a peaceful and chilled vibe. The cheesecake is a really well balanced and not overly rich like many can be.

Great coffee, great place

I had a cortado as my drink of choice. I always went there with my own cup since I lived very close at the time. The place is lovely and if you're student looking for a change of scenery to study or maybe tired of working in your underwear at home - it's a recommend. The place itself makes the coffee taste that much better. I had a cortado and it was divine.

The new rearrangement is beautiful. The coffee is way too expensive. They had a unique taste before that made it worth the price. I bought a cuppachino that was made with Ethiopian beans, it was average, and for the price that they charged, I was left disappointed.

Very chilled place. full of people that look like they sit there every day. I was not overly impressed with the coffee, but that could be because I went there for a meeting and was more focused on talking than on savoring the coffee. Might have to go back some time.
