Very poor service at table no 40, 2 out of 3 orders incorrect, smaller portions versus Springsgate, calamari and kingklip very chewy

Food was poor. Worst Calamari I've ever had.

Just walked out. More staff than public. After being seated we waited for service. I asked who is responsible for our table... the staff just spoke among each other and did not bother to serve us.

We have noticed that the service has deteriorated over time. Last night's experience leaves us dissapointed again. Our starter came warm in a a cold pan. So we reminded our waitress to please bring our food while it was still hot. It came cold. And the manager did not bother to see what the problem was We wont be going back there.

We ordered Cafe Latte, waited 15 minutes for our drinks, and only after they brought our drinks, they told us that their complementary bread isn't ready yet. It is, 11:30 am. Unacceptable. We will definitely not return to this branch.

Service- was welcomed by John with a welcoming smile and friendly attitude. Food- ordered the tilapia with sweet potatoes. The tilapia came with chilli butter on top, the meat was tender and the skin was beautifully crispy, the sweet potatoes also deserve a mention, lightly seasoned with paprika and complimented the fish perfectly. Hard to find faults in my experience here, except the food took a little bit longer then usual to come out, however is justifiable by the quality of the food.

Fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Nice new look too...

incompetent staff...simple meal took over 45 mins to prepare whilst I was the only customer at that point..Management and other staff did not understand the menu...after repeated explanations frm my side they still did not get it right..manager unapologetic..bad experience

As Loyal Ocean Basket fans, I feel the waiters need a little more training as to how to serve the dishes with the correct cutlery and condiments/sauces... Also I do have a feeling that the food will get better with time, since the restaurant just re-opened quite recently.

It's a pity that the business has shut down.

I went for dinner at the restaurant on the 14th of April 2019 around 19:48. The man who was our waiter started packing up the tables around us just as we started Eating and even started to put the chairs on top of the tables. It was the worst experience ever because it felt like we were being chased out of the restaurant. It gave the impression that we had to eat very quickly and leave the restaurant so that they could pack up in peace. Unfortunately the manager was outside and only noticed that the restaurant chairs were packed up all around customers after his waiters were already finished. The waiter showed no remorse even after the manager reprimanded him. The waiter's behaviour was such a turn off.

Good food, cleanliness, friendly service. Ocean Basket is always reliable.

Hi What is happening at ob mall at Carnival, we use to go there once a week. Tonight's service was shocking to say the least The waiter doesnt know what diet coke is Some of the drinks were not available We waited 45 mins for food, my husband finished his meal then only I got mine. No serviotes, dirty cutlery, no straws, the waiter gave me the dirty serviotes from the table next to us. The table next to us was left with leftover food the entire time.

Often go for lunch and always good

The food was below par and poorly presented. Since there has been new management, the restaurant has taken a sad turn and lost all quality. I would be giving the restaurant only one star if it wasn't for how well our server handled the situation.
