I love eastern cuisine and mediterranean cuisine especially. And Chef Abdul Mediterranean has 5 stars from me. This is a small restaurant run by Abdul and his family, a great place with many souvenirs from the country of Abdul Iran's torch. the food is always fresh and very tasty. I especially recommend the mix of meats and the unique hummus with delicious falafels. Food can be eaten on site and taken away.

I don't know y we found this jewel beside jewel Osco so late... Had breakfast here today and everything turned out to be amazing Great small family run restaurant with an amazing story of chef abdul.. We ordered: Shakshuka Makhlama Kubba Arabic tea Lentil soup Everything was amazing and our Mediterranean take buds were left content Please be noted that shakshuka is Iraqi version and not the regular one with tomato sauce.. it's more like an omlette. Highly recommended.

First time visiting the staff was very nice and even gave us some cookies on the house. The shawarma mix was A+ and the chef’s plate had a little bit if everything.

The food and service here was phenomenal! I genuinely couldn't recommend Chef Abdul's any higher, this restaurant has opened my eyes to an entire new world of culinary and cuisine I've never experienced before and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Their Falafels are amazing and their Baklava is to die for.

Best Mediterranean home cooked food I've every had! Fresh,hot food. Amazing hostess/waitress super friendly and helpful with our choices. Don't be nervous or scared by the look of it outside (LoL) yes its a little place tucked away in a small strip mall! But diffently well worth it. We'll be going back for sure,highly recommend 5 stars 🌟 picture of our after dinner coffee which again was amazing,prices were very reasonable for the amount of food and the quality,$42 for dinner for 2 and drinks and after dinner coffee,you seriously can not beat that..

What delicious food! Service was fantastic! We got the beef and chicken shwarma, the falafel, spinach and lentil soup, and baklava with Turkish coffee. The meat was so flavorful, the soup was comforting and the coffee was smooth. I’d love to come back again!

one of the best shawarmas i’ve had in my life. I’m from toronto which has a lot of good shawarma spots and this was still one of the best ones i’ve had. Around 18.50 for a mixed shawarma that comes with fries and a drink bit pricey but worth every penny. The meat was not over cooked had moisture and seasoned really well.

I’m sure the place is great but it’s closed til August 24th for vacation. I will be nice and give 3 stars. Looks like a cute place! However we drove all the way from Schaumburg as they have great ratings and good menu unfortunately they had a sign taped up on the door saying they are on vacation until August 24th! I wish they would have posted this on their Yelp and google maps site (updated hours). Waste of time and gas!

Best authentic middle eastern food I’ve had in very long time! High quality of food and people. Great hospitality, prices ,and mainly the food. I like my food well done, and it was well done with best taste ever! I was lucky to find this spot while traveling to IL. I also had a very nice chat with chef Abdul and his team while waiting for my food. I highly recommend this place if you are craving fresh and tasty middle eastern food.

Great experience! From the moment we were greeted at the door, to the savory traditional dishes prepared by Chef Abdul, to the phenomenal baklava we had to order, even though we were full…outstanding! Thank you guys!

This place is AMAZING! The food is so delicious and authentic, everything has incredible flavor and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I tried the food last night for the first time, and they were so generous to even include some free extras! It was so good that I came back this afternoon, bringing more people with me, so that they could all try it. Not only is the food everything you could hope for, but Chef Abdul and his family are some of the kindest people I’ve met in a while. They are so welcoming and proud of what they do, and it is such a pleasure to be in their company. 10/10 recommend, do not hesitate to try
