Was there this morning to get 4 new tires. Waited for for my turn when i was next they did not call me over to the register. Somebody else walked in and they helped them right away. I told them i was next to be helped and they ignored me. I didn’t want to argue so i just left. I guess they just didn’t feel like helping my kind today. Will try another spot tomorrow. They just lost a loyal customer. Big company guess really doesn’t matter to them.

Discount tire provides proper product and efficient quality service. I had a customer service issue with an older service which was purchased but not provided, and after much discussion and proof of purchase with no refund, I was provided a new tire. Good staff, those young guys truly make the company gears function. They deserve raises for their hard work, technique, and upstanding dedication to the safety of Homer glen. That manager, real quirky fella but he knows what’s right.

2023 UPDATE: Some things change for the better & some things seem to get worse. This place however, takes it to another level of excellence. Had 4 tires replaced & they completed the task in less than 40 minutes. Zero issues. Professional done. Continued excellent customer service. VERY happy still. I'll be back for my next set. Excellent customer service every time I call or stop in. I'm taken care of in a relatively short time & I've never had any issues. Flats are always fixed & stay fixed, wheels are always balanced perfectly. The guys in the shop are always busting their butts to get you in & out quick. Their prices are always competitive with other vendors. Really just a positive experience overall.

I have been going to them for over 10 years with good results. Past 2 times I bought new tires the rims and center cap area paint was damaged from them using a screw driver to get them out. The guys that work there just don't care and are in to much of a hurry. The Homer location used to be the best one around, but unfortunately that has changed.

I have been going to discount tire for years and until recently had good experiences. Two weeks ago I went in because my low tire light came on and was informed that I would need to replace my two front tires but my rear tires bought last year were good. I was not expecting this large expense and am not in a position to incure large unexpected expenses but safety comes first and I purchased the tires. When I went to leave the low pressure light was still on so I asked them to check all 4 tires again and they did and assured me that all 4 tires were like brand new and the light would turn off. Two weeks later my low tire pressure light was back on and I returned. The person that checked my tires today informed me that I now need 2 new rear tires. I asked why they wouldn't tell me that two weeks ago when I was there and he said he didn't know but that the tires are cupping and it has nothing to do with anything they did and is not covered under the warranty and I would again need new tires. Two weeks ago I was assured I had 4 good tires and today I again need new tires. I will never purchase tires from a Discount tire again. Better luck to all of you.

I can’t stress enough how incredible these guys are. I’ve been coming here for a decade & I’ve never had a bad experience. Scott & Juan are super patient & helpful every single time. Any time I’ve spoken with the guys that actually worked on my car, they were equally kind. For everyone to be so polite & happy all the time, management must be doing something right. Thank you!

If your tires are mounted they never charge to switch seasons. Can make appointments on line. Great bunch of guys.

Excellent experience as far as getting new tires can go. I purchased everything online / booked an appointment / arrived on time (1st appointment 8:00am) / 8:01 my vehicle was being pulled in. By 8:35~ish my vehicle was being pulled out. I was handed my keys & receipt and I was on my way. This shop was excellent.

Reasonable prices on popular brand tires and no pressure sales. Clean store, courteous staff. I was in and out with 2 tires in under an hour.

Great service all around. Gaven was very helpful as well.

The Homer Glen Discount Tire Shop fixed my balance problem the New Lenox created and couldn't fix after 2 attempts. I'll never go back there again. It's worth the 12 mile ride to Homer.

Scott was very helpful in helping me choose my tires. Service was quick and price was doable. I chose Discount Tires because of all the recommendations I received after reaching out to the Homer Glen Community, about 90% of the feedback I got said "GO to Discount Tire". So I did. Not disappointed. Shout out to Scott. Date of service was 1/17/24. 11am appt.

I recently came in to have my tires rotated and I drive a Tesla and the associate that worked there that has helped me in the past came out to look at my tires once he knew how many miles on had on my car. He recommended I come back in the spring for new tires versus wasting money to have them rotated. Thank you for saving me some time!

The manager named Justin needs to be trained on how to interact with customers. His demeanor and attitude are not what a store manager should have. I was 5 minutes late for an appointment and he told me the bay they held was now being used for someone else. I questioned it. Yes, I was late. 5 minutes. So, when he said it would be 1 hour and twenty minutes to take care of me, I said really? I was just 5 minutes late. He then looked down at his watch (that's called passive aggressive, Justin) because now it was more like 9-10 minutes late since he had to wait on 2 people in front of me before he got to me. His reply when I said that's not fair......"this ain't your doctor's office". Justin's facial expressions and body language were passive aggressive. I have spent thousands of dollars over 20+ years going to Discount Tire locations. I own a service business and I would never speak to a customer like that. That was completely inappropriate. Never again will I go this location and I will also be sure to tell everyone I know to stay away from the Homer Glen location. Justin should be fixing flats and staying away from interacting with the public

Unreal! Had 8 total tires put on two vehicles in the same day and on both the tires lose air constantly it's a joke and their excuse is well you didn't get the warranty! Faulty installation should be covered regardless of warranty I spent over a grand!! Unbelievable! Thanks Discount awesome service!

CAUTION....Recently one of our cars had 2 tires that were losing air. Brought the car in and was told there was a nail in both tires. Not a big deal, tires were old so opted for a whole new set. Had to wait a couple days till they were in stock. Was carrying around a Milwaukee portable pump in the backseat since having to fill a little every day, so filled the tires in the morning and put the pump in the back, left for Discount, got new tires and went home, not thinking anything about the pump. Parked in the garage and the next morning went to get the pump out of the car since we would not be needing it and the battery pack is missing. No way of knowing who took it, but it was there before the car went to Discount and it was missing when we got back home. The tire experience was fine, but it is a shame that you are missing something after bringing your car in for service. Watch your belongings when dropping off for service here.

The employees are very friendly and helpful the service and prices of the tires are unmatched. The manager Justin is very informative as well as the rest of the guys. Good group of men will be going back when I need new tires.

Called at 535 . I was told that they turned off compressors at 545. I Got there at 650 and had a nail in my front tire. Gentleman was on the phone and I waited 5 min until another gentlemen asked if he could help. I explained and he said he would check. Another gentlemen came out and said that they turned out compressors and they couldn't help. I would suggest they indicate they close a 645.

Friendly knowledgeable staff with the best bang for your buck. I usually shop around then get the best price from them and down the road protection. Go safe, go to Discount!

I’ve been a customer for about 10 years and I’ve never had an experience like the one I had at homer glen. Since about May my tire pressure light would go on about once a week, I would go refill it, the light would go away and then it would go on to turning on again. I went in and they said nothing was wrong with any of the tires. I’ve been in twice to see if they could fix my tire bc I explained to them that the tire pressure light keeps going on and they told me the same thing. Let me make it clear that I never once felt like I was given any type of “good” customer service at discount tire. So on the same day they told me that “nothing” was wrong with it I decided to go to Costco to see if they could help me out. They found a nail. Now my air pressure light only goes on on a normal basis. Thank you Costco.

Went in to have a flat fixed. I was told they can’t fix it because the tires are 10 years old. They only have 21k miles on them and they wanted to sell me 4 new tires. I went down the street and had my flat fixed. What a rip-off.

I don't actually know if they did a basic balance on the tires. They don't do alignment. It was super obvious which two tires needed to be replaced, so they didn't ask. Took about an hour. No amenities like coffee. Coffee machine was there. Lots of seats. Very busy location.

We just had new tires installed on our car, and we appreciate how we were able to find the proper tires, make an appointment online, and have them on the car so quickly at Discount Tire! Juan did a great job helping us with our options and making sure we knew about current sales & rebates. We always go back for free tire rotations & air checks, too!👍

Brought in my 2006 Ford E250 cargo van for new tires. Tires looked really nice. I got in the van to leave and brake pedal went to the floor. I went inside and let them know. They came out and right behind the front drivers tire there was a huge leak. They said the line had a hole in it. It appears that they damaged the brake line while replacing the tires accidentally. They said that vehicles shift when they are lifted and that may have caused it. Finally they agreed to pay to have the vehicle towed to a shop they do business with. However they have not yet agreed to pay for the damaged brake line.I am so disappointed that they are pretending that they didn't do it. You could see the brake fluid coming from the bay to where they parked it. Total loss of confidence in this Discount Tire. I will update my review as I get more information and see if their insurance will cover the damage. Update: they went ahead and paid for the repair to the brake line but never accepted responsibility for the damage.

Several purchases spanning 15 years and it has always been a good experience at this location. Very well run for many years. Staff there is just always courteous and fast. I have seen them treat difficult customers with fairness, patience and respect. Prices are always competitive and they have a wide range of products for different needs.

Have had a few repairs, air fills, and new tires. These guys are great. Even repairs at far away discount tire shops are often free once you're in the system. Saved my vacation twice so far, fast repairs in an emergency! Good tire prices too.
