My husband and I have made it a mission to visit every lighthouse in Michigan. This one did not disappoint at all. The walk out to the lighthouse was peaceful and the waves crashing made for a even more peaceful walk. The views are breathtaking. Definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful lighthouse. Inside tours were not being offered at the time we visited. There is quite a long walkway to the lighthouse. Unique 2 lighthouses.

The St. Joseph North Pier Inner Lighthouse is a beautiful and historic landmark located in St. Joseph, Michigan. This lighthouse was built in 1907 and has been a beacon for ships and boats entering the harbor for over a century. The lighthouse is located on the north pier of the St. Joseph River and is surrounded by beautiful views of the lake and the city. It is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike, and is a great place to take a walk and enjoy the scenery. The lighthouse itself is a beautiful white structure with a red roof and a black lantern on top. It is well-maintained and in excellent condition, and is a great example of the architecture of the early 20th century. The interior of the lighthouse is not open to the public, but visitors can still get a glimpse of the inside through the windows. The lighthouse is also a great spot for photography and is a popular location for wedding and engagement photos. Overall, the St. Joseph North Pier Inner Lighthouse is a must-see for anyone visiting St. Joseph. It is a beautiful and historic landmark that offers great views and a glimpse into the past. It is a great place to take a walk and enjoy the scenery, and is a great spot for photography. Highly recommend visiting this landmark.

We visited here in October of 2020. This lighthouse and beach area were very beautiful. You do have to pay to park unless you find street parking. When walking down to the lighthouse please be careful because the waves tend to crash over the walk way. My daughter and I enjoyed the views and sounds of the water. It was peaceful.

Absolutely beautiful old lighthouse. Took the family there to tour through it. Just in time too. We were the last tour of the day because of a storm coming in. 8f you park in the lot, be sure to pay. They go by on a regular basis to check for those who didn't get a parking permit. Available at the lot from a machine. If you are able, take the climb to the top of the lighthouse.

There is a pay parking here. No entry fee. You can walk all the way to the lighthouses for nice pictures. Part of the walk does NOT have protection rails and you enter at your own risk.

Such a great walk! You’re looking at about a mile walk from the parking lot out to the end of the pier & back. $15 for non residents to park.

Such a beautiful spot to visit when in the area. Note that bathrooms close in late autumn until spring.
