Fun and interesting playground, great birdwatching opportunities. Come at sunset to watch the seagulls dive for fish. Very clean, well kept grounds.

I really enjoyed this Park's friendly inviorment, water sports, and family activities available. We held our 1984 Class Reunion there. Go Benton Harbor Tigers Class of 1984!!!

Love the quick boat entry into the water adjacent to the neighborhood......park was clean and on the 1st day of April....local residents were already enjoying the clear weather.

Nice park on the river. Softball field is actually decent and there are clean public rest rooms.

This place is great, a hidden gem tucked inside a neighborhood. This wonderful park has a great covered pavilion with picnic tables. The park is lined with great fishing spots in the St Joe river, you'll catch catfish, bass, bluegill, crappie, lake trout and salmon here. They also have a great looking playground for kids situated smack dab in the middle of a safe neighborhood. Can't wait to come back again.

Update. Recently the secluded trails have been posted with gates and no trespassing signs. I regret posting some of the details in my initial review (see below). At least the pictures can be shared. This park is a nice oasis just outside of town. There are secluded trails along the river. In the spring some trees flower brilliantly. There are large pavilions and seating along the river.

Kids enjoyed the playground. Seemed calm and relaxed 😎. Nice spot on on the river.

Visiting this park is part of my routine when in the area. It is typically quiet but occasionally hosts gatherings. There are large shade trees and often a nice breeze from the St. Joseph river. My canine friend loves this place. The grounds are well groomed and the river front view is an expansive panorama. This is especially true if you find the secluded / hidden trails. Hint, some are just outside the park.

Visiting from out of town and read that there were pickleball courts here. There are three coursts that look like they have been abandoned. I'm giving the park 3 stars overall. I'd give the courts 1 star. At least there was a net on one of the three courts.

I love taking my daughter there! One of the best parks in Benton harbor. Tennis court, nice playground, fishing 2 pavilions to sit down and eat

We were looking specifically for tennis courts. They were rated 5 on yelp but were overgrown with grass and no nets.
