For
the
first
time
ever-
our
family
felt
unwonted
.
It
felt
like
no-one
cared,
and
it
was
totally
preventable.
I
am
writing
this
review
as
a
awareness
to
the
guests
of
Hampton
Inn
,
this
can
happen
to
You
too!
We
are
a
family
of
four
,
my
husband
and
I
,
and
our
daughters
at
age
28
and
17.
This
summer
is
being
very
busy
for
all
of
us,
so
I
planned
us
a
small
getaway,
to
catch
up
with
each
other’s.
I
booked
the
hotel
through
Expedia-
as
I
usually
book
most
of
our
trips,1
room
with
2
queen
beds
.
I
made
the
reservation
9
days
prior,
I
got
the
confirmation,
everything
was
looking
good.
Later
on
the
day
we
had
to
check
in,
I
got
a
call
from
Nickol,
who
later
I
found
out
was
the
office
manager
,
asking
me
if
we
were
planning
to
come
(
that
was
around
6
pm)
.
I
told
her
that
we
were
in
the
area,
having
dinner
and
will
be
there
in
half
an
hour.
Half
an
hour
later
we
checked
in,
Nickol
handed
me
the
room
keys
,
like
everything
was
normal.
Until
we
entered
the
room-
it
was
ONLY
ONE
BED!
So
I
went
back
to
Nickol
to
inform
her
,
that
there
is
a
mistake-
we
reserved
room
for
4,
not
for
2
guests.
The
explanation
was
-
we
were
given
the
last
available
room,
the
hotel
was
overbooked
and
she
JUST
HAD
TO
GIVE
US
A
ROOM!
WOW!
She
clearly
saw
that
is
four
of
us,
let
us
go
upstairs,
and
didn’t
say
anything
about
it!
The
hotel
failed
in
what
hotels
usually
do
-
reserve
the
room
you
paid
for
it-
and
i
prepaid
my
reservation!
At
the
last
moment,
at
the
peak
season
we
had
to
look
for
another
hotel
to
accommodate
us
,
and
it
was
very
difficult
to
find.
We
found
out
that
Hilton
hotel
,
next
to
Hampton
Inn
had
available
room
,
and
since
we
knew
that
this
hotel
is
part
of
Hilton
,
we
asked
politely
if
they
could
cover
the
$60
difference
for
the
room,
for
the
inconvenience
caused.
The
answer
was
NO
-
even
in
this
situation,
the
hotel
cannot
help
us-
but
can
cancel
our
reservation
with
no
fee
!
Wow
AGAIN
!
With
this
experience
You
definitely
lost
our
business
forever,
and
also
your
friends
business!
I
will
make
sure
all
of
my
friends
and
colleagues
know
not
to
use
your
services-Hampton
Inn
failed
to
provide
the
very
basic
services
that
hotels
provide-
TO
RESERVE
THE
ROOM
YOU
PAID
FOR
AND
FOLLOW
UP
WITH
THE
RESERVATION!
