Lovely little spot! We stopped in for some wine tasting & appetizers at the bar while on our wine tour. Sean L was the best bartender we’ve seen! It was rainy & crowds were coming in waves. Sean was attentive to all guests, let us all know he was grabbing water and made sure we all were set before grabbing water. After some tasting, he also helped us pair some items off of the food menu to complement the wines we chose. He was so personable, and our group was in awe that he was so cool/calm/collected with such large groups that were bombarding him. The aesthetic of the restaurant was warm and could easily be used for a number of things. We are actually thinking of planning a birthday party for one of the members from our group here for a big birthday bash in a few years. Any type of event like bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party could definitely be hosted here. The patio & outdoor area were so beautiful! So much seating, but not where you are on top of each other. We can’t wait to come back next year! 💖🍷

This was such a beautiful place to visit. We took the trail down to the other winery. The moderate trail was still pretty easy. The only down fall was some of the staff was pretty down right rude (maybe even racist), but one of the other staff members made up for it and immediately changed our experience.

So far this place has yet to disappoint. Second time here and we tried the food — YUM. We had the Mixed Berry salad and the chicken BLT. Both were very good. Cherry wine was not a disappointment and we couldn’t leave without a bottle of cherryscato!

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Not great if you are in a hurry (our visit took 2 hours from being sat to paying). It was also quite cold and we all wanted to hurry and leave just so we could get warm, but overall had a great experience and would visit again.

Had good wine. Seated quickly down in the cellar to taste. Was a neat place with wine barrels around. Unfortunately, the only flight is a set menu. We were able to sample .5 oz of a couple of wines before purchasing.

Been coming here for decades and they just keep getting better! Lovely outdoor seating area, dog friendly, and great offerings. They made sure where they seated us was okay for our dog, and got her a water bowl. Excellent service despite being really busy. We enjoyed the three wines flights they offer and bought a few bottles to enjoy! A great little road trip in the Michigan countryside.

The food was very good. Our waitress was even better than the food. For the price I would've like to had something leftover to take home. Overall a very good experience and would recommend you try them out if you're in the area.

Tabor Hill is ruined. We have been coming here for 20 years. I could not believe that when I ordered Demi-Sec, the waitress asked if I wanted white or red. Really? The patio had trash and cleaning supplies. We were served in plastic cups. Then she asked us if we wanted desert after our salads. . . This is after we had been there for 90 minutes (incredibly slow service, yet not packed) No, we would like the entrees we ordered. This used to be a classy restaurant. I don’t know what happened. It still has classy restaurant prices without the experience of a classy restaurant. Which is probably why one couple walked out after they had been seated and had perused the menu. If you are new to Tabor Hill? You still might enjoy it. Those of us who have been going for decades, see the decline, or at least the absence of what we had come to appreciate. Just sad.

Tabor Hill Winery in Michigan is a true gem in the world of wine. From the moment I stepped foot onto their picturesque vineyard, I knew I was in for a special experience. First and foremost, the wine is exceptional. Tabor Hill's dedication to quality is evident in every sip. Whether you're a fan of crisp whites, robust reds, or something in between, their diverse selection has something for every palate. The knowledgeable staff is always eager to guide you through tastings, offering insights into the flavor profiles and suggesting perfect pairings. The ambiance at Tabor Hill is equally impressive. The winery boasts stunning views of the surrounding countryside, making it the ideal spot for a relaxing afternoon or a romantic evening. The tasting room is warm and inviting, with a rustic charm that adds to the overall experience. What truly sets Tabor Hill apart, though, is their commitment to sustainability. It's clear that they take their environmental responsibility seriously, and it's heartening to see a winery taking such steps to minimize their impact on the planet. In summary, Tabor Hill Winery is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts and anyone looking for a memorable day out. With exceptional wines, a beautiful setting, and a dedication to sustainability, it's no wonder this winery has earned a well-deserved five-star rating. Cheers to Tabor Hill for providing such a delightful wine-tasting experience in the heart of Michigan!

One of our favorite restaurants, and love that the winery is there too. The Lake Superior Walleye is amazing! Paired great with the chardonnay.
