Great beach with access to the north pier and lighthouse. It's a no-frills beach, so no concession stand or playground equipment, but is a great option if you're just looking for a few hours of beach time without the crowds of Silver Beach. Be aware though that there are no lifeguards and it often has rougher waters than Silver Beach across the river, which is protected from the prevailing winds and wave action by the piers.

Beautiful park with two gorgeous lighthouses. Walk right out past both lighthouses for a stunning view. Easily one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! Be mindful of waves coming onto the pier. Parking was super easy. Beach was right there and places to walk. Would make for a great day trip or a quick stop to see the lighthouses. This is a must see for south west Michigan.

We were vacationing in Michigan and luckily came across this gorgeous, mostly secluded, beach. Watching the sunset there was like transitioning to paradise. I wish I would have found it day one. Absolutely stunning.

It's a nice beach to go to that's a little less busy than silver beach and still some neat features. Has the Pier as well as some park benches as it is not just a beach, it IS a park. If you want to check out the Pier this is the place to go. Be forewarned, you will likely need to pay for parking but they now have an app that makes it easier to do if you don't want to search for a kiosk which is nice.

Tiscornia Park in St Joseph, Benton Harbor, Michigan is an absolute must-see! The view is magnificent, with a beautiful lighthouse on the north pier. There is plenty of parking, usually free but with a small fee during the summer season. The park is well maintained and provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Whether you're looking to take a stroll along the pier, have a picnic, or just take in the stunning views, Tiscornia Park is the perfect destination. I highly recommend this park and give it a full 5 out of 5 stars.

I love this little park. Great walk out on the pier and a beach that’s a little less busy than a lot of Michigan shoreline beaches. Walk to the beach is easy if you come from the pier otherwise you will have to walk down the small dune hill near the restrooms. Shower/foot wash/drinking fountain/doggy drinking fountain/bathroom facilities all available. Lighthouse tours are also available but I’ve never been here when the lighthouse is open. Daily $10 or seasonal parking payable at the kiosk by card/cash.

Beautiful beach. Waters are cool but feel warmer as your body temp adjusts. Great place to take your family. Will rival most us beaches.

I would have loved it if we had been able to walk out to the lighthouse, but the waves were too high, and the tours were canceled. There was a small beach and the parking was not free. Across the bay was another pier that you could walk out on but there was no way to get there from this location without driving to another parking area.

Greatest gem in the Midwest!! We loved every second of our morning here and we will be sure to travel again soon this way out from Joliet/Schaumburg area!! Illinois has nothing like this and that's what makes Michigan so perfect every expedition!! We spent time walking each lighthouse and time at the beach!! Then who wouldn't mind watching para-surfers out in the wind showin' us what they got!! Was a beautiful day and we will be back this fall for more fun in the sand and sun!!!

Lovely little park right on Lake Michigan has two piers. The northern pier has two lighthouses on it. Would have been a good place to watch a fantastic Lake Michigan sunset. But I had heard amazing things about South Haven South Beach and couldn't miss out on that opportunity. Spoiler alert South Haven lived up to the hype.

The beach is pretty and clean. Parking is reasonable at $10 for all day parking. The lighthouse makes for a picture perfect backdrop. My only gripe with this particular beach is it is not accessible for stroller or wheelchair at all and would be very difficult to traverse if you have mobility issues or small children. Silver beach is much easier to explore with little ones.

This is a great beach! Very clean and sandy, i didn't see any weeds. The lighthouse was beautiful, especially at sunset. There is a bathroom and feet washing stand near the kiosk where you pay for parking, it's $10 for the day and you can also pay online or in an app, you need to use your license plate numbers to register for parking. There was a delicious shave ice truck in the parking lot when we were there - about $6 each. We were there over Labor Day weekend and parking was scarce and the beach was busy but there was still space to spread out. You do need to slog through sand, so be prepared for that. If you walk in near the pier you will be by more people, but it's the easiest walking route with the least sand walking. Boats coming through the channel were beautiful, boats were also dropping anchor near the beach which was a little annoying but probably a holiday weekend thing. FYI: no shade spots. lot's of photographers at golden hour near sunset.

Nice park for evening or morning stroll. Watching beautiful sunset sky over michigan lake. Saw many people fishing in winter seasons. Overall nice park

It was great to chill with my friends. We swam and felt the wind. It was a perfect day. We also ate at the picnic tables.

That's a nice park. Remember to pay for parking :) I enjoyed this beautiful lighthouse pair. Michigan has variety of lighthouses and that one is for sure deserves to be in the list to visit.

Bathrooms were clean, the parking lot was clean, and there was hardly any trash on the walk to the beach and on the beach. There was quite a bit of people but everyone minded their own business so there was nothing worry about. I believe it was 15 dollars to park for the day, or 40 dollars for the season. Local in-state residents get to park for 10 for the day

Great park, not crowded at all, when you walk from the parking lot to the beach you can look over and see silver beach and how crowded that beach is, but then when you get to Tiscornia beach you see how much room there is to spread out and enjoy the beach without many very close neighbors. Decent size sand beach, much room to spread out between others. When I went there were jetskis parked at the beach right in the water, not long after a police/fire vehicle drove by on the beach and had the owners move the jetskis, which was very nice, good to know they keep up on security and keeping the nearby water clear of boats and jetskis. Great visit, would highly recommend checking it out. Also important to note that the price to park is cheaper than silver beach. Overall would recommend over silver beach as I have been to both and find Tiscornia more relaxing and open. (Please note the picture with the piled up sand was from my group, and is not a common occurrence on the beach)
