Beautiful place to spend time with your family in the outdoors. There is an awesome playground in the forest that my kids really enjoyed! Also a creative obstacle course for older kids! Nice trails and breathtaking hikes on the boardwalk that connect you with nature. Awesome sky bridge with nice views. The nature center is clean, educational and has friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Between the indoor areas with bird watching, kids room, and live reptiles to the beautiful trails that are very well maintained. The skydeck is absolutely amazing to walk across the review across the beautiful woods. FYI: turtles have butts too, reference the picture.

A magical place. Nature preserve with miles of trails, butterfly house, playground, and nature center with exhibits, animals, and bird watching area. A must see. This organization has been doing community engagement with schools, scouts and kid groups for decades with an amazing mission of preservation and education.

The most friendly, kind staff! Such a beautiful place we went twice during our vacation. The trails are lovely and there are quite a few manageable options even if you have young children with you. A very fun, spacious nature playground. All in all a wonderful experience and kids under 12(!) are free...wild!

This place was wonderful! The staff was so kind and even let us pet one of the corn snakes. They had a variety of things to learn about and see. The trails are well maintained. There is an amazing nature inspired playground. The butterfly house is beautiful and so fun! Definitely worth it!

This is a good place to take a nature walk and see the marsh and the animals they have. The butterfly area is very well kept and full of all different kinds of butterflies. Very kid friendly and plenty to do for the little ones.

One of my all time favorite nature centers. So many different biomes. Great place to see the fall colors.

Very. Very cool place. We went along with a field trip and it wasn't our first time here. Inside educational stuff. We had a naturalist walking around with us. Very kid-friendly. Volunteers are super nice also and willing to listen and teach and ask questions for old and young alike. Paths and walkways and maps are well-marked and easy to understand. They have had butterfly houses in the spring in the past and they are just all around wonderful people.

Very nice. The lowland trail is over a lot of boards. Next time, I'd also do a higher trail. Nice maps. $3 entrance fee is well worth it. Lots of kids were there. They seemed to enjoy it. Easy to follow trails.

The nature center itself has a wealth of information on the plant and wildlife of the area. The garden outside the center is beautiful and well kept. The upper trails are great for running or hiking. The lowland boardwalk provide a fantastic stroll through the waters

Beautiful lush woods and marsh areas in late summer, and peaceful! Cool nature center too. Very extensive hiking path trails that are marked fairly well but it can be confusing and you can get lost. They do provide maps upon request. Dogs not allowed, fyi. Well cared for. Worth visiting!

Absolutely love coming here. It's a great cheap place to take the kids. Plus they have trails. Some spots are really narrow but still love going down them.

I had a much better time here than I had expected. I went there with my mom and brother and his two kids, and this place is super cool. TRAILS They have some trails that you can walk along, and they have this really long Boardwalk that's basically like a hundred feet up in the air that is pretty cool to look out from. BUTTERFLIES They have this giant butterfly house area where you can walk in there and there are like 20 kinds of butterflies just everywhere, and relaxing music. I think it might be three or five dollars per person to go into the butterfly area but other than that I'm pretty sure everything is free. REPTILES AND OWLS Indoors they have a ton of reptile exhibits like turtles and snakes and they took the snake out to let my brother's kid pet it. They also had owls in there and it was really awesome because they were really tiny owls and it was cool. MERCH They also have some pretty cool merchandise like water bottles and shirts and different natural pesticide soap and stuff like that.

We visited here while passing through on a road trip, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stop. The staff are extremely pleasant and eager to share thier knowledge of the nature center and the wildlife. There are several rooms filled with an assortment of animals to view inside the visitor center, and the butterfly house was delightful. There is also an extensive, and well marked, network of trails including ia small nature playground for the kids. Highly recommended!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Some of it feels like a walk through the woods, some of it feels like stepping into a fairy kingdom or something. The lowlands and wetlands are beautiful. And the displays inside are always nice to look at. The butterfly house is great for relaxing in for awhile too.

The visitor center is like a nice little "zoo" with aquariums showing frogs, snakes, fish, and lizards. There's even a sofa and binoculars available for bird watching. My grandkids loved this place! At the beginning of one of the trails is a playground created with a clever nature theme. There are several miles of beautiful trails, one of which includes a tree-top walkway.
