We had stayed at this property numerous times over the last 2 years. The former manager, Charlotte, was amazing, as is Darius. The new corporate guy, John, is the only reason we checked out after the 1st night of 4 of our stay this week. He is rude & has absolutely no customer service skills. We travel with our 13 year old dog, who has hip issues. We were assigned a 3rd floor room next to the stairs, furthest from elevator, after told we would have a 1st floor room, but due to deep cleaning, it wouldn't be available til the following day. We thought we could make the 3rd floor room work, but it took too long to get our old boy out to the bathroom. We asked for our 1st floor room, & were told it wouldn't be ready until after a 9:30 inspection. After wanting to get to an appointment, we stopped to inquire again, at the front desk, John told us this was the 4th conversation about the room change & that housekeeping couldn't be rushed. he got very snarky in every conversation, & my husband told him he was calling corporate. John said good, do you want the number? He chicken-scratched a local phone number, which was obviously not corporate. Corporate number is easy to find though, & a complaint was filed. We will never stay at this property again as long as John is there, claiming to clean up Charlotte's mess. Really? John is a mess & causing Staybridge to loose not just customers, but loyal longtime customers. He should never be in a customer servic. & if he treats guests so poorly, one would wonder how horrible he must be to staff. Staybridge should beg Charlotte to come back & oust this pathetic 'task force' jerk who's parting comment to my retired Air Force veteran was that he was GLAD we were checking out. Hey, John, we'll all be happy when you get canned or resign!

Very disappointing stay. Stayed here previously for family vacations and loved it. This is our first Post Covid stay and it was very bad. Was told check in was at 4pm but our room was not clean and unavailable until 6pm! When we finally got it the cleaning job was poor. 2 bedroom 2 bath suite and we were given only 3 towels! Looked like the room had not been vacuumed. There was no maid service provided on our last night. And no one answered at the front desk for 30 minutes. Not worth staying in a dirty hotel. Stay elsewhere.

Its unbelievable how rude the service is, specifically the man answering the phone. Dont waste your money or time. If the dude doesn't understand what you're saying he will cancle your whole reservation and ban you.. I called to alert the hotel about a change in my bank card, It got jammed in an atm so I had a replacement. He said it already came out, which wouldnt be possible the card registered on is my lost card. I tried to explain this in the simplest terms possible and this man clearly not understanding me tells me "you're all set. Your reservation is cancled and you can never come here again". I couldnt believe what I was hearing! I Called to alert the hotel of my replacement card, and they take my money and ruin my plans. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This place has been genuinely surprising so far. Great space! Love the kitchen, very comfortable beds, warm staff, and good breakfast options, along with coffee and juices. Very quiet. We haven't heard other guests. The indoor pool is warm, and the work out facilities, and laundry room are very funtional. Whether you anticipate traveling for business, Military, or a weekend get away, I encourage you to come here, to Staybridge Suites! You'll really enjoy your experience, away from home!

I loved the hotel it was conveniently close to our destinations. we booked a kitchen suite which was helpful so we didn't spend much on going out to eat.we were there for 2 weeks and our room didn't get cleaned untill our 7th day there. Wish we would've been told upon check in that they were short staffed. We wouldn't have thought that they didn't care about us as guests. I would stay there again but this time I would ask about shortage of staff so we know to ask for towels and T.P. sooner

Staff:::::Darrius; Carole, Charlotte including the Head of Housekeeping was just fantastic during my stay this month. This is truly my home away from home. From my room to the lobby/dining/sitting areas including outdoors is just wonderful! Whenever I return there’s that wonderful greeting from whom ever at the front desk welcoming me back β€œhome”. Keep up the great awesome work β€œFam”!!!😊

The staff was great. The hotel itself sucked. Stayed here in early August. Pull out sofa had BLOOD on it. Two nights during our 4 night stay the fire alarm went off forcing the entire building to evacuate. While waiting outside at midnight one of the nights, I overheard the manager and one of the long staying guest joke about how this is a regular thing. It had something to do with the fire alarms proximity to the laundry room. Here's a free tip, shut the laundry room down until you fix the GD problem. My kid shouldn't have to be wakened by the klaxon of the fire alarm TWICE AT MIDNIGHT because of a problematic, recurring false alarm. Hotel didn't want to budge on not refunding us anything. The location is near a very sketchy town with blatant drug deals going down in the very nearby Walmart. All in all the WORST hotel experience I've ever had.

Booked this hotel sight unseen for a six-week work assignment. The rate fit my per diem, although it now seems high for the amenities. When we got to our room, I noticed that the striker plate for the lock was cracked at the bottom. I reported it to the front desk and even showed a picture to the manager because the deadbolt would not lock. This was on a Sunday, so he said maintenance would address it on Monday...never happened. We bought some groceries for the suite and as I was about to set them on the counter I noticed a red substance. Not only was it on the counters, but also in the refrigerator. It was obvious through this and other issues that the room had not been cleaned between occupations. The next morning my wife brought the used towels out to the server and requested new towels. She indicated that she only had towels allotted for certain rooms and could not provide her with any. We didn't find out until the next day that the hotel only provides room service once every five weekdays, and our room wasn't due until Thursday. This would have been good to know on Saturday night when we checked in. So each day we had to take out our own trash and bring towels to the front desk to get new towels. Thursday came around and when I returned from work, the room had not been serviced! I called the front desk person (who is overworked and underpaid), who apologized and indicated they would inform the person in charge on Friday morning. Upon returning from work Friday, the room still had not been serviced! No towels, change of bedding, cleaning, vacuuming, nothing. I went to the front desk on Saturday to get answers and get the room serviced, but unfortunately, they don't have anyone to clean rooms on the weekend. Monday...no service! Tuesday, moved out! When I informed one of the front desk workers, they informed me that this was "par for the course for this hotel." There are better options in the vicinity, or better yet, stay in St Joseph or South Haven. I stayed in South Haven for the next 5 weeks for the same price as 9 days at this place!

I feel sorry for this hotel. They (like most places post-COVID) are understaffed. The poor front desk guy was doing ten people's jobs. But our room was just not clean. We didn't complain. But I thought it should be addressed. Also this hotel allows pets. We took our puppy. And now he has fleas. We were on vacation, so I don't know if he got them here. But it's possible. We slept okay. The beds themselves seemed clean enough, but the room had obviously not been cleaned. The reason I'm really upset is this cost us $350+ a night. And we paid a $50 fee for having a pet. I assumed that was a cleaning fee... but no cleaning had been done. There was pee on the toilet seat. There was cat litter on the floor. Stains on the dresser. Dirt in the corners and behind furniture. And serious dust on the vents and desk. Again, the staff was nice and I think this could be a nice place, but the cleanliness was AWFUL.

The hotel is nice and so are the rooms along with the staff who are extremly nice. The roof was also great. However, there were a few issues to the room we were assigned too, the room had been just barley cleaned compared to the others. There was gummy and a book left ontop of the fridge, the sofa and chairs had crumbs on them, the shower door didn't stay shut, the bathroom door didn't lock, the back of one of the doors had no handle. The stove wasn't clean and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, back of the remote was broken off, one of the TV's didnt work ethier. The eye hole on the door had a broken cover too. There was also left over clothes in the back of the dresser and trash between the dresser and wall. However we went to the front to explain what was all wrong, they offered to let us change rooms and we're willing to discount us $100 if we chose to stay in the room. The room was 222 for anyone else who may get a assigned to it, due to them will to fix and and even discount us with no issues I think it's not that bad. I hope this was a 1 in times thing- it's understandable that there are many rooms and not the many staff so it may of been a lack of time and trying to rush, you could tell they are least took care of the main stuff like tradh, sweeping and other things. The staff also gave our herseys and Oreos for free.

Definitely not the best hotel in button Harbor. I did send a review to the manager of the hotel with no response. Definitely will not stay again. Was very dirty. They actually have to swap out furniture because it was so stained.

5 stars to the gal who brought me a blanket late at night and who let me in when my dumbbutt lost my keyfob. Whoever set up the TV and remotes, shame. The remote connectivity to the TV is non-existent other than off/on. Some cheap motel quality if you have any hopes of watching TV here I guess.

From the moment I walked in the staff was great. Shania (sp) greeted me with a great big smile. She saw I was an Elite member and gave me an upgraded suite. We had my wife’s service dog with us and she greeted her also. The room was fantastic. More than we even needed for a quick overnight stay. They had a nice little grassy area for Sandy dog too. It was nice to have. The next morning we had a nice breakfast and coffee to go.

Where do I start. The room was awesome. We had a suite. We couldn't change the channels very good because the remote must have been low on batteries. The room was clean and spacious and amazing. The first issue was the deposit was put on the wrong card. Jackie fixed that however, I was double charged for my room which place 2 holds up to $400.00 on my card which reduced my card and wouldn't allow me to use money since it was being held. So I was low on funds. Jackie stated it was a mistake and she removed it from her end but because it was a weekend my bank didn't release the money and as of today (Tuesday) still isn't released. There was a party or loud people next to our room and kept us up most of the night. The lady working the front desk that night couldn't find the room that was being loud and didn't seem to care either. After all if this they decided taking 53.00 off my bill was sufficient instead of crediting my whole night. If it wasn't for Monique (who is amazing and should be promoted) I never even would have gotta any discount. She honestly is the reason the scores weren't even lower.
