This was a nice, clean and well maintained hotel with courteous staff. I would definitely come back again if ever in town, it was exactly what I'd hope for, it being a budget hotel, in a nice neighborhood and close to the beach. There is a very light complementary breakfast. It was a bit older, probably built in 70's, but they've worked on keeping it up. There's a few things that indicate it's dated, thus 4 stars, but it's a budget hotel and I'm not expecting brand new, it's just what I needed.

I have stayed at this location several times in the past for work and every time, the service gets better! The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and they go above and beyond to accommodate you as best the can. Plus, the room rate is pretty affordable and the location is close to stores, gas stations, restaurants, and the highway. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had very enjoyable weekend watching the the giant waves. After a day in the wind and listening to the waves we checked into our hotel. The staff and owner/manager wer very friendly and gave us each a bottle of water for staying with them. The hotel was very clean inside and outside. The beds were very comfortable..Will be back again to stay with them. The mngr/ owner really cared about the property and you were happy with your stay.

Just got back from a 3 nights stay at Rodeway Inn, St. Joseph MI. AJ and his staff were so kind and professional. The hotel is older but kept very nice, freshly painted and newer carpet in the room. Our room was comfortable and everything was clean. Great location. I will definitely stay again on my next trip!!

Easy check in and complimentary water was given. The room was clean, beds comfortable but unusualy high off the ground. Reasonable price especially for the area. We stayed two night to enjoy Lake Michigan. Staff was nice with lots of parking and walking distance to several restaurants. Recently repainted and looks great. Quiet night sleep. We will definitely be back!

I thought it was great. As you can see from other reviews I've written, I'm not afraid to tell you how it really is. My husband and i actually thought it was pretty good. The beds were a bit hard but not horrible. It was freshly painted, and floors were newer. I loved the bagged breakfast they have for you. It's basic but we took it on the road with us and it was a perfect snack. It's close enough to downtown St. Joe but far enough the rooms are fairly priced. We would definitely stay there again.

The front office staff are very kind and helpful. Check in was extremely quick and checking out was even easier. We had an issue with our key in the second day and the staff took care of it immediately. It was probably the quietest place we have stayed in quite some time which was lovely. Would stay there again certainly.

Of all the lesser expensive places to stay in the area, this has to be the sweet spot. Both for location and for comfort. It's only a quick drive to the downtown area of St. Joseph. And the room I stayed in was nearly perfect. Very comfortable bed, super clean, and everything was great. I'd absolutely stay here again.

The owner updated my room without any extra charges and was very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. If you drop by in person instead of making a reservation online, chances are you'd get a better price. Room was clean and facilities were good. It's pretty near to the beach so expect the rooms to be booked during travel season.

I do understand that this hotel is not Hilton, but: - when I arrived around 8:30 PM, the lobby was locked. There was a phone to call but, of course, no one answered. I had to stay on the bitter wind for 30 minutes. Then the receptionist came as if nothing happened. - the room had nothing in common with the one on photos. It was at least twice less in size and extremely worn and old, although reasonably clean. - the worst and oldest pillows I've ever seen. Worse than hospital ones. Blanket literally 1/8 inch thick. - the light in bathroom was working only with ventilation. I measured the noise level the ventilation made and it came to 75 dB. 85 dB is disel motor working right near your ear. It was impossible to stay in bathroom with door closed. - the lights over mirror were not even connected with electricity at all. I was planning to make this hotel my "base" while traveling for work but it was so bad that I will never return.

Not worth your money, 210$ for one night on the weekend. had a couple issues that we had to get resolved regarding bed stains!! Didn’t make us feel very good or comfortable about it.

You get what you pay for, for sure! Floors creaked, vinyl planks were not put down properly. Bathtub did not drain like it should. There was mold on the shower wall. On the plus side, it was across the parking lot from Dunkin Donuts and walking distance to Wendy's and McDonald's. The room served the purpose for 2 nights. The girl at the desk gave us 2 Nutrigrain bars bc they don't have breakfast.

Its not a 5 star hotel, but for what it I give them a 5 start rating. The room was clean, nice owners. It's not worth the $150 per night, but it is St Joe on a weekend. Other hotels were double.

I checked into this hotel on a Saturday and they charge too much for a room that is outdated. The service was ok. The rooms didn't have your own soap and shampoo it was on the wall. My grandma couldn't even reach the soap too high on the wall. I dont know how little kids do. The Contnential Breakfast was below average. They offered dry cereal and decaf milk. The beds were hard as a rock, I was actually sore the next morning. The pillows were flat and the sheets and room smelled bad. Not even all of the towels in in the room ebough for a double bed occupancy. Would not recommend.

Closest hotel to our destination. Clean, hard beds. Older motel with some updates. Very loud traffic noise and impossible to block out the lights outside the room. Quoted price for my small dog, then charged me more. No one available for check out. Had to trust they wouldn't overcharge. But they did.

These folks are so friendly and the room was really nice. No breakfast during slower months. But they were really friendly

I got in a car accident and they were super helpful. Let me stay a few days, late check out and had my dog in the room. Very accommodating. AJ the manager and Dennis the maintenance man were so helpful. Can't recommend it enough.

Amazingly comfortable bed! I slept like a rock! Rooms were clean and well supplied. Grounds seem well kept and the area feels safe. Night staff was cordial and showed me to my room. Rooms need some updating but overall very satisfied.

Staff was friendly and worked hard to accommodate my request to check in early. Beds were comfortable, but room could use some updating. It was perfect for our quick one night stay.

We stay here every 4th. Wonderful employees. Would give a except, I have a couple of suggestions. Please, please, please get mattress covers and sheets that fit. The ones now are horrible. Also, when your cleaning staff cleans ( I do this for a living) clean the toilet very good excluding around the bolts. This is a deal breaker for me. It's fine if it doesn't bother other people. Thank you! Room 203 Williams

A nice no-frills hotel in St. Joseph. The TV didn't work and we called the front desk where a guy said he'd be up to fix it in a couple of hours. He never came. On the up side, the beds are extremely comfortable! The shower was nice and hot and had good water pressure.

My sister and I stayed here two nights during our weekend vacation. The gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The front desk people were super friendly and helpful. We had booked somewhere else and once checking in it was horrible,we arrived late so it was very difficult to find another place. These people got up at 2:30am to help us out and even cut the rate some on the last minute check in price. We decided to stay the rest of the time here as well he made that super easy and even matched the online price. Beds were super comfortable and the room was clean. It was a little dated but not an issue. They even brought extra towels to the room when we needed them even if it was late when we got to the room. The night we arrived he even walked with my husband to check the room to be sure it was going to work for us before going back to his home. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly. I had reserved a king room, that I thought had a couch in it for our grandson to sleep on, and when they went to show us to our room, and seen we had another person, they upgraded our room to 2 beds at no extra charge. They gave us fresh bottles of water and chips. Even helped take our luggage to our room. Very thoughtful people. Thank you for such wonderful service.

As the name suggests it’s a great value for your stay and the rooms are nicer than most places in this price range. The guy at the front desk A.J Patel is very friendly and professional. He even walked me to my room to make sure I was satisfied with the quality, which I was. I would stay here again.

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. AJ is a wonderful host offering to deliver whatever is needed to make my stay better. Highly recommended for anyone spending time in St. Joe.

Check in was fast and efficient. Gentleman was very pleasant, especially considering we had a very late check in. Never made us feel that we were inconveniencing him. The beds are a tad on the firm side, but the room was very clean and it was a nice place to rest our heads for the night. Bonus: tons of TV channels. If we ever pass through St. Joseph again, we would stay here. Thank you!
