I decided to try this coffee shop based on the stellar reviews posted online. Wow, I am happy that I chose this coffee shop to work from while being in town with my husband. The owners were friendly, and the coffee shop has so much charm. Since I live in Houston, it was refreshing to have an intimate/small coffee shop with genuine owners show great customer service. To be honest, I was shocked by the level of customer service provided, and they answered all of my questions about the coffee origins and food. Now, let's discuss this food! It was surprisingly delicious, especially because my expectations for coffee shop food is not high. However, please try anything on this menu, and you will not regret it. I had the bacon, egg,and avocado English muffin for breakfast, and I had the chicken power bowl with no cheese or sour cream. The owner allowed me to substitute avocado since I don't consume dairy products. (#winning) In short, strongly recommend this coffee shop!! 😁

A wonderfully unique and progressive small town bookstore cafe art gallery open space. Great place to hang out and read or be social. Or just grab a decent coffee and go :) Support a charming main street business: Take a detour off the Interstate and get your coffee here.

Great space. We were in from NY for a client meeting and this was exactly what we needed. Good service and great coffee! Super friendly barista.

Excellent coffee shop with a variety of drinks and fresh pastries. Staff is incredibly friendly. There are also goods for sale by local artisans.

Great place for cooler weather, but definitely not designed for summer. Huge front windows allow the summer sun to heat up the interior. There are no ceiling fans and the AC seems nonexistent. Add a cup of hot coffee and it's miserable. Fall and winter are a totally different scenario.

Very satisfied with every visit, the owner cares about every customer that comes in. They treat you so well, the coffee is amazing and love the fact that everything is made in house. Baked goods from the young, sweet Casey, whom helped me, are amazing. Highly suggest people to go here for coffee or simply just to relax all the time.

A pretty neat find! Coffee drinks were yummy, and I love the chili sauce on the avocado toast. Delicious! Great selection of books as well. This is a great place to hangout, read a book, or do some homework. The reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 was the very indifferent customer service.

Love the Phoenix Rising. They were the first to welcome me back with open arms. Good people are drawn to the Phoenix and the coffee & food lives up to patronage.

A wonderful, artsy atmosphere! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a sociable while also studious vibe. Chairs and tables that are somewhat isolated, while others are communal; some face the darker wall in the back, while others look out onto the bright street and sidewalk. Recommended for a brief stop in to grab a drink or snack to go, or for staying for a meal and a read (from the used books for sale on one wall).
