This is one of my favorite local taco places! Great staff and food! All the food is great and enjoyable. Pictured are the Birria tacos that are excellent. It is the mexan version of a French dip in my opinion

I can’t believe I haven’t been here more often. First off, these are some of the best tacos I’ve ever had and I can’t recommend them enough. On top of the quality of the food, the kindness and attentiveness of the workers is exceptional! If you’re having a down day, stop on in and let the decor lighten you up! Many positive messages of kindness fill the arena, my favorite is paraphrased from “Even Cowgirls Get the Blues” by Tom Robbins: “Don’t grow up, it’s a trap!”

RAW tamales and ridiculously unprofessional staff! This used to be such a great place. What happened to the kind lady that used to run this place when if first opened?! What a waste of money. $30 for 3 COLD ground beef tacos and 4 RAW tamales! Good riddance aGROSSa Taqueria!

Very tasty food for a great price! The steak was very tender and flavorful. Rice and beans were good as well. Wish I lived closer to eat here more often.

Of course this place has its good days and bad days but when the counter person takes your order and then precedes to check your order and you get home and of course your missing something from the order and your 20 minutes away. SO FRUSTRATING AND THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS from here so check you orders before you leave ..There is no excuse for poor service especially when the prices are high for the portion you get here 😢 The foid is tasty but poor customer service and lack of looking out for the paying customer that now is missing someones food is not right .And to be told on the phone when called to complain to come back to get it ..I said how about you come and deliver it as you checked the order to what was in the bag twice wrong !!🤬🤬🤬 We use to go there all the time but have utilized other places because of these issues .

It was so tasty, really spicy food, for me at least. I got the steak burrito, and it was almost as good as la Perla, my favorite burrito place. The atmosphere was really good, and it definitely tasted better with my friends.

Very authentic with a wide selection of unique meals. Usually go to the other place in town but, will make Arriba a regular stop now.

Update* Food: 2/5 Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 12/8/23 Update* This is my last review of Arriba! Taqueria, as I will not visit again. I get the rising cost of food, but please don't short change your customers. If you raise your prices, please keep your meals quality. I paid $12 for three cold lousy tacos and rice. The steak was dry and unflavorable. The tortillas were raw, with one tortilla per taco; usually, taco joints grill their tortillas and double wrap each taco. To top of my frustration, I asked for double rice instead of rice and beans. I received two baby portions of rice. This little poerion of food for $12 dollars! Sorry, but I'm disappointed in this meal. Third time at Arriba! Taqueria was okay. Taco spot in Saint Jospeh, I stopped to eat dinner. I loved the homemade salsa! Steak tacos are very good, but barria tacos were decent. Its best to take out meals and enjoy them at home. Overall, it's a decent meal today! This is my second visit to Arriba. The barria tacos are closer to a 4 star, as they were a hit! Tonight may have been busy as some of the food was lacking meat and flavor. I had the pork and pineapple and the steak tacos. However, don't sleep on Arriba! They are usually good.

Quick and Homemade food. Great selection of authentic drinks, dessert and guacamole too!!! I can call in an order and pick it up within 10 minutes, fastest real good food around.

Love everything about this place! Will definitely be a regular spot for us. You have to try the cucumber lemonade, it is to die for! Prices are affordable, food is delicious, service is amazing.

I used to love this place! I went about a month ago, found a long piece of black hair in my food. No I’m sorry, would you like a refund NOTHING. I haven’t been back since. Until today! Same thing happened, this time I was told that no one has long black hair! REALLY? Again, no I’m sorry, no refund, just stated “I don’t know how that happened!” I asked if she thought I put a long black hair in my food and drove all the way back just to get another meal!? She said “no, but I don’t know where the hair came from!” The people in the kitchen stayed hidden, no manager came and said sorry, NOTHING. 😳🤦‍♀️ WONT BE GOING BACK! EVER There’s more! As I was eating the freshly cooked meal I had to reorder I found this in my food! It’s a stick! I did NOT FINISH MY MEAL! 🤢

Local taqueria with an extensive menu. Food is kind of bland and lacks spice and flavor - even the hot sauce was hot at all. Wet burrito is kind of wet and nothing to write home about 😢 Also got the street tacos and they were super dry and had zero flavor I even got the spicy pork ones and nothing. Just wasn't impressed at all and I had hoped I found a new taqueria but sadly nope. Will try again but don't have my hopes up It wasn't awful and I ate it all but it wasn't good either.

Traditional feeling taco joint. Good quality taco and burritos etc, the soups are good also. One note, they don’t serve alcohol, soft drinks only. You order at the counter and then collect from the window if eating in.

Best vegetarian burrito I've had in the US. They use a delicious blend of spices which makes their burrito stand out. They have several other vegetarian options as well that can be made vegan. Strongly recommended!

It's just okay. Not worth the hype unfortunately. Guacamole is my guide stick for authenticity and attention to detail for a Mexican restaurant. Theirs were pre-made, purre'd, and soupy mess with no layering of flavors. The avocado was unidentifiable. The flavor to all the rest of the food followed suite-very uninspired and prepared as if the chef put speed over quality as #1 goal.

Ive been here a few times previously and had no problem. However, i decided to order food again and im not sure if they took me as being rude but i will admit it was not my day today but i tried to be as nice as possible. I honestly didnt think anything of it because it was a phone order and i thought it was completely normal but they obviously just took it too far. If they did this to me i wonder how much worse they have messed with other people's food simply from taking a phone order. Nevertheless, I come to pick up my food and once i drive back home, i find a half dead fly right in the middle of my set of tacos. The tacos were cold and a bit stale, it seemed like it was sitting out for a long time when it had only been 20 minutes since i ordered and picked it up. This is the same exact order i had got every single time i came previously and they were nice, hot and fresh, but this time completely unappetizing.

This place is legit. My party tried several different dishes and all of them we flavorful and authentic. Can’t get better Mexican food anywhere in the area or possibly all of Michigan

Discovered this place during covid and have continued to go ever since. I always get a burrito bowl and family usually gets the California Burrito. It's always top notch, quality food! I highly recommend it!

Food was excellent. Great flavor and they don't skimp on the fillings and toppings. I got mine as a takeout order so it was a little cold by the time I got home 10 minutes later. Next time I'll eat in.

The service was amazing. Everyone behind the counter was so polite and so helpful. The gentleman let me try a sample of the watermelon lemonade and it was amazing. The food was the best Mexican food I have had sense moving here from California.

Holy cow! The BEST fish tacos and shrimp burritos we’ve had since Mexico. The spices and sauce with the other toppings melt together sooooo well. If you’re visiting St Joseph’s beach, it’s only a few minutes away. You won’t be disappointed! Absolutely fantastic; bring your restaurant to SLC!

BEST SALSA I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE Now that I got that out of the way, this place is phenomenal! Wonderful service, vegetarian options which can be made vegan by leaving out cheese, etc., and absolutely delicious food. The sweet potato they use for the tacos is remarkable, and that means a lot coming from me, because I don't typically like sweet potato. Arriba Taqueria is my favorite place to get a fast meal in St. Joseph, hands-down!
