Wonderful beach! Not crowded at all. By the end of the day the women's bathroom was icky. I would be sure to bring some tissues and hand sanitizer in case they are out of toilet paper and soap. I love that its pretty quiet here and not overcrowded. Great place to see the sunset. It's a big beach, plenty of sand for playing in.

If you’re looking for a beach, this isn’t a bad choice. Not super crowded. There’s a walking trail that gives you a decent view over the lake; though it didn’t seem very long. Have to pay to park (5 dollars for 3 hours) and it kind of sucked they didn’t have shorter hour options, but still it’s a good spot overall.

Jean Klock Park is a stunning beachside park and was the perfect backdrop for some engagement photos I took this summer. Knowing many of the beaches are full in the summer, and wanting to respect beachgoers, as well as ensure my clients had some open spaces for shooting, we headed to this beach for some less crowded spots. The sunset was stunning, the short walk to the water was perfect, and the photos turned out so well. I've taken my family back to this beach to enjoy it and I highly recommend visiting! Stunning views and easy to access.

Wonder time at the beach. So clean and family friendly. We were able to witness 2 weddings the day we went.

We had a great time at this beach! Not crowded (granted, it was a Monday) and serene. Cute playground for the kids, adequate restrooms and changing area, little ice cream shop (Licks) with enough to appease a 3-year-old's need for a sweet treat. Would definitely come again! Oh, and $5 parking for three hours.

Beautiful clean sandy lakeshore along Lake Michigan where you can hear the methodical waves hitting the shore. Very peaceful.

Our first time visiting. We actually liked it a little more than silver beach. It was not as crowded and it does have small grills if you wanted to cook something there.

Great spot on Lake Michigan. Less crowded. Very nice pavilion. Parking is $10. Bathrooms are ok.

Beautiful park, love the soft sand here. You feel like you left Michigan when at this park.

I had not heard of this park, as Silver Beach is bigger and better known. Jean Klock beach is adjoining to the north, near Benton Harbor, and is (in my opinion) more accessible with ample parking, much less crowded and the water was fabulous. It was about a six minute ride to St. Joe to get pizza from here. This is my new favorite beach in SW Michigan.

Beautiful family-friendly beach. C/O 1998 reunion picnic was here, it was a gorgeous day and not overly crowded.

Hidden gem! We went to silver beach, a little too crowded for us.  A Local told us about this beach and didn't disappoint!! The stretch of the beach is beautiful! Plenty of space to park.  You can park facing the water and watch the waves from your car Long Beach great for walking, has bathroom to use but can use an update lol They also has a kid playground for kids to play! The pavilion is a gorgeous spot for summer party and actually when we were there a group of people already rented it out with live DJ! There some newly built houses way back, I wonder how much those houses run lol Very nice park, I would highly recommend visiting for a sunset 😍

I caught the sunrise at approximately 7:45am here on September 22nd. The park was quiet with a few runners and dog walkers present.

👍 Nice playground. Parking is tricky to figure out but you park by the baseball fields I think. Other streets says no parking. But once you figure it out. It's a nice park.
