We were headed downtown to shop and drove passed this and had to make a u-turn! Such a beautiful view of the lake and well kept little park. There are benches, swings, art and little BBQ pits as well. What more could you ask for! We came back 4 other times just to enjoy the view. Plus the parking is free!

A natural gem hidden in plain site. What looks like a mere travel stop is actually an incredible nature preserve on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The park area stands between the two different parking lots. No matter what season, it is a stunning area where one can see monarch butterflies gathering in the summer, fiery colorful leaves in fall, fascinating ice patterns in winter, and all the colors of spring. This is a spiritual place where angels roam.

Beautiful spot overlooking Lake Michigan. There are benches and picnic tables dotted around the area. There is also a lot of shade to enjoy on warm days.

Very nice park just off of Red Arrow Highway on the south side of St joe. Only 1 picnic table but lots of benches. Unusual benches, they are ergonomically designed and comfortable to sit in, but they are slicker than ice. I set my Coke down and it slid down and tipped over. I set it on a much more flat spot and it slid down and tipped over. There is a lot of shade, and some sunny spots. Plenty of parking spaces, and a food truck as well (at this time in August). There are views of the lake, but no approach. I like it. 👍

Absolutely beautiful spot! Gorgeous views of the beautiful blue Lake Michigan and a wonderful outlook deck that provides for some really excellent pictures. I love stopping here for lunch and just being able to take in the sights. It's so relaxing and peaceful. That is Nature in Michigan at its best! Definitely a great stop for locals as well as tourists. I will be back soon

The sunset over Lake Michigan is pretty darn close to the Gulf of Mexico sunsets. Pro, you can't see land on the horizon. Con, there is no happy toe sand, like on the Gulf.

Nice pull off to watch the sunset but the beach is eroding badly so be careful near the edge

Beautiful little spot to sit and think or have a picnic. I love the swinging bench that's there. I saw bald eagles flying along the shore when sitting here.

Beautiful panoramic view of Lake Michigan. Trees obscure view in some areas but a walk along the bluff is rewarded with open views looking west over Lake Michigan.

I go here to watch the amazing sunsets on the lake. It's both breathtaking and spectacular! One really needs to see one to understand its true beauty!

Stumbled upon this place by accident. Beautiful view. Looked as if the sky abd lake were touching. Great parking. No fence to block view so be careful of the crumbling edge of hill. Plenty of room to take in the breath taking view of Lake Michigan. Love the Great Lakes!!

So unbelievably picturesque! The lookout was well manicured, clean, accessible, spontaneous family-picnic suited, and not overly populated (at least not while I was there. I am not from the area, but was merely adventuring and checking things out when I visited here. When deciding where to have some outdoor alone time, this park has bench swings set up along the expanse of shoreline which looks out over the lake. While unpresumptuous, the little "Lookout Park" is definitely a spot my family and I will return to in the future.

Nice stop on the side of the road. Pulled in to order food for pickup and ended up coming back to eat. Nice little stop 1 or 2 picnic tables, great view.

Just a random spot I happened to pass by and ended up being a highlight of my drive from St. Joesph to Chicago. Happened by it on accident because I didn’t want to drive on the highway and I’m very glad I did. Super cool place and I highly recommend it.

A wonderful overlook park to view the sunset over Lake Michigan. However, due to overgrowth along the bluff edge, there are only a couple of narrow view areas. Plenty of parking with trash cans every 100 ft. No restrooms. The park is what is left of residential house lots that have since slid into the lake via landslide, a fairly common occurrence along this part of Lake Michigan. There are signs along the cliff edge warning you to be aware that the ground you are standing on could be your doom when it suddenly decides to go for a swim in the lake. I would take the warning seriously, it's no joke.

Very serene experience. Three clean park benches set so you can sit and watch the sunset or just enjoy the beauty of the horizon. One swing bench there too! I think a picnic table. Not all seating gave same view due to trees or overgrown weeds from easement between lake and the higher ground being Lookout Park. As sun began to set, I purposely changed to a bench where tree pretty much shaded you from direct view..too bright for me. One of my favorite parts of my trip today was sitting looking out at the lake at LOOKOUT PARK!
