This place USED to be amazing for the kids. Now, however, they decided to change buying tickets to online only and timed visits. Before, I could just show up with the kids, buy tickets, and enjoy the area. Now I have to scan the UR code, attempt to navigate their terrible website. It's just not worth it. As someone who visited this place a lot, I will not come here again.

Wonderful children's museum, jam packed with interactive and fun exhibits. Great for imaginative play as well as STEAM exploration (microscopes to giant bubble machine). There is also a 4 and under area at the back. Definitely a great destination whether the weather cooperates or not. Recommend to get tickets in advance.

Small and expensive, but cooler than the other museum if you are looking to kill an hour. The ball sorting exhibit was pure joy for my 5 year old autistic son. Wait times can exceed 1 hour during peak season.

We have the annual membership to both kids musuems down town and its always exciting to see what they come up with next. Our kids love it, its fun for all ages. We usually spend 45mins to 1.5hr. Its also connected to the carousel which makes a great last stop to a visit.

This place is great if you are looking for an hour to kill while it’s raining. Our kids had a great time with the water area and the building planks. The staff are very friendly. They also constructed a rather large maze from boxes that our kids had a blast with!

Love love love bringing my son here. Very disappointed at the pay-to-play predatory claw machines set out unavoidably as you leave though. Very negative way for my son to end an otherwise great experience. We will be back but I now know I have to make a conscious effort to deter his attention from the two machines as we leave.

Curious Kid's Discovery Zone is the perfect place for little kids (in my opinion 1-6). The workers make sure the place is clean and sanitary by picking up the toys and putting them away when the kids are done/sanitizing. Oh, psa, if you're a bigger person, getting your kid down from the climbing structure is a pain 🙂.. (picture attached)

Cute , but very very small. My 3 and 5 year old were only entertained for about 40 mins. Also when it is that small and things aren't operating it is frustrating. Staff was friendly.

Very cute children’s museum! We visited on vacation and my daughter (age 3) loved it. It is kind of small, but there was plenty to keep her entertained. Would definitely visit again!

The Curious Kids' Discovery Zone is amazing. The staff is wonderful with children, and is always very welcoming. There are so many different activities it is impossible to get bored. If you need something to do for a couple hours, you can easily keep the kids occupied here. I bring my toddler and there is plenty to do, but I also think my older kids (9/10) would find things to do as well and be entertained as their younger siblings gets the energy out. The staff is so good at keeping everything clean, so I feel very comfortable taking my babies there.

It is a smaller space but there's still a lot to do to keep the kids occupied and a few really fun elements I haven't seen at other similar children's spaces. Also, they do a ticketing/timed entry kind of thing so it doesn't feel overcrowded. Plus, the Silver Beach Carousel is conveniently in the adjacent building. We almost had to pull the kids away. They loved it.

This is a fantastic place for kids. My grandchildren go all the time. I like that it is a hands on museum. The best part is they change the theme often so you can learn new and exciting things. They do keep some of the activities the same. Just an all around fun place. Memberships available.

This place is such a clever, hands-on museum for children! I was there with my grandchildren, my son, and my husband and the grandkids had a wonderful time. The parking was plentiful and free - perhaps because it was a weekday. On weekends, parking is $5.

This is the way air and space museums should be done.. and I have been to most in the USA. Beautiful exhibits, authentic aircraft and artifacts, passionate staff, activities for all ages, interactive learning exhibits, KIDS AND ADULTS can have a wonderful time. Worth an hour drive or more!

The water table and giant push pin toy were a big hit with our toddlers, most of the other exhibits/Activities were geared toward older kids. Very spacious, and bright and clean.

This is another interesting part of the same museum that is just few meters away from their kids museum. It’s a nice place situated right next to Lake Michigan and also a wonderful carousel. Not very big, but has some interesting stuff for kids to play with.

Not a very large place, but but has fun, interactive displays. My 3 year old granddaughter had a blast and didn't want to leave even after a couple of hours. Make sure to go next door to ride the indoor carousel.

It's a bit small but we still had a fun time with our 3yr old.

Absolutely loved it. Kids had a blast. We enjoyed watching and playing with them. We went to the other one too. Kids had even more fun. Thank you so very much and we will be back. Employees were amazing too.
