We had a beautiful hike in a snow-covered wonderland at Love Creek. The parking provided easy access. The nature center is beautiful with a space to sit and enjoy nature indoors including very nice restroom facilities.

Love creek have 6+ miles of trails in Berrien Center. This is a county park and there is a three dollar per vehicle entrance fee for residents of Berrien county and five dollars for non-residents. The wildflowers are fully in bloom here right now and the variety and colors are stunning. This is a dog on leash friendly trail system, kid friendly, But not really handicap accessible. You meander through prairies, pond areas, a variety of woods and wetlands. There are some decent size hills here and a variety of trail choices. There a bathroom facilities in the main building. Today we saw a pileated woodpecker are right in front of us, almost Stepped on a bat that obviously had something wrong with it and a variety of birds and waterfowl. The trails are mostly packed dirt and are well-maintained. They also have trails for mountain biking and in the winter cross country skiing. Definitely a beautiful place to spend a gorgeous afternoon.

First snow fall hike at Love Creek Nature Center & County Park with my cubscouts. We had an adventure hike with Park Ranger Derek Pelc . He told us about the habitat and animals while also giving us a hiking tour of the Marsh and part of Old Dam trail. This county park offers, biking, hiking, and it is dog leashed friendly. 9 miles of trails. The snow coverage on the trees was simply beautiful. $3 entrance fee unless you have a membership. Nice indoor learning learning area for kids that house animals also an area for bird watching. Happy trails and go out and explore.

I love living near Love Creek for the hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. They have great trails, especially for cross country skiing. Today was a perfect day to be out. Although the parking lot was almost full, the trails weren't too busy and sometimes I was all alone.

Great place to go for a walk! Scenic views, quiet, and very well maintained and marked trails. There are some monster Sycamores out here! The building itself is also very nice and clean, with nice little animal displays on the inside. I will definitely return later in the year.

Beautiful place. I went when the building was closed so I didn't get to see inside, but the trails were gorgeous. They're very wooded, and some would probably be hard to walk on if you don't have the correct type of shoes. Also there's no phone service once you leave the building area.

Nice trails, but no trail maps or mileage indicators. No public restrooms (when the visitor center is closed). And the signage is confusing about what trails are just for bikes, just for hiking, or both.

What a gem! We loved our time here and came back three times! Easy to find with plenty of parking... and more than reasonable admission makes this a must-see destination. It's nice they offer bikes to rent and have winter rentals too. There are several different trails with different vegetation and ecosystems. The trails are well planned with signage and a map to follow. The number and variety of wildflowers, plants and trees gave us a couple hours of hikes submerged in nature.

Great trails with lots of different terrain. Well maintained. The nature center is fun to look at. They have large picture window for viewing birds and squirrels and such. Turtles and owls and snakes in cages made to their needs. Great place to take the family for a hike.

Great place for a hike and it's cheap. Bike friendly on many trails. The old dam trail had a tree across it on a hill. While passable, I did t want to lift my dog over it. Great place to connect with nature.

Surpassed my expectations. Stunning views! The trails are well maintained and well marked. Bring cash for a small parking fee.

Nice place for fall hikes. The trails may even stroller and wheelchair accessible. The trails are smooth and wide, even in the wooded areas. I'm an acid hiker and this is probably the best place for that in the area. There's lots of woodpeckers here.

Great place to walk! Trails pretty well maintained. Lots of wildlife and native plants. Native flowers are especially scenic in the spring season. Awesome views of the Love Creek winding through the park. They offer hiking and MTB trails… and in winter (only when there is snow on the ground) they offer cross country ski, snowshoe, and snow bike trails. XC skiing here is fantastic as the trails are groomed super well.

Great little spot to explore in South Western Michigan. The nature center was very nice. We enjoyed the couple of animals that they had there. They have a few turtles, snakes, and I believe weasels but they were away doing an educational program. The lady working in the center was very welcoming and informative. We spent a while talking with her about the animals, wildlife in the area, and other areas of the park. We enjoy looking for mushrooms in particular and she told us of a very beautiful pink mushroom growing in the park. The trails themselves were very nice but the day we were there it was sweltering. The shady areas and frequent benches were very nice discoveries along the way. We would love to come back again in the fall for cooler weather and more mushrooms. There is a $5 entry fee per car but it's so worth it to see them housing animals and servicing the trails. They also provide bug spray which was very needed.

Could use colored trail markers. You really need to get a map from the Nature Center. Trails are identified by name. Well manicured trails. Easier trails are on the east side. Some stairs and bridges.

Derek is great! My wife and I came out to witness the Woodcock mating dance. Though we may have been in the 1% that didn't get to see the dance, Love Creek never disappoints.

We visited for a lecture on Monarch Butterflies, which was very interesting. Upon exploring the building after, we found a room with toys, books, and animals (live animals). My kiddos (ages 3 and 5) were thrilled to see turtles and watch birds. They also have walking trails. We went on a short walk since we did not have appropriate shoes on but we will definitely be back!

Hiking trails are beautifully cared for, trails well marked and flushable toilets are the bonus.

The dogettes and I have hiked trails all around the country, from the Grand Canyon to the mountains in Maine for years. My oldest can't navigate tricky trails any more so we stopped at Love Creek for a quick morning walk. This was *perfect* for her - actual trails (not park paths) she could walk through fairly easily! Although they're definitely beginner trails, they far surpassed my expectations. Litter free dirt and grass paths lead you through dense trees with a couple of well maintained rustic bridges crossing the winding creek while a myriad of birds chirp and chatter everywhere. Highly, highly recommend and, if you're a nature lover driving on the interstate, this is definitely worth a stop! Things to know: Parking: $3/weekdays for non residents Parking: $5/weekend days for non residents Dogs must be leashed

We have a great time at love creek, cross country skiing, mountain biking, fat tire biking, or hiking. The trails are fun and kept up well for all.

Great bike trails to enjoy. There is entrance fee needed to pay ($3/$5 depending on which county you live.) but this place is definitely worth it.

Great park. Lots of trails. Rents fat tire bikes, snowshoes and cross country skis in the winter.
