I was there with my family for a night and we booked 3 rooms! Hospitality was great, rooms were clean and very confortable. We enjoyed also the good breakfast. Great location! We recomand it.

This is the kind of place I hope to land on when travelling. This is a family-run hotel and it scores 10 out of 10 on everything. Food, service, rooms, friendliness... So happy we got to stay a night here.

Very cosy place. Quiet and lovely staff. A very friendly dog in the hotel named Kuki. A welcome drink is served before you go to the room or if you like, even after. I stringly recommend it.

I was 3x in Mangalemi hotel in Berat since 2021. Ideal location in the historical centre, fine food, great service and poshy rooms.

Single room bathroom only for the thin people. Room with balcony just lovely grt views of city and walking distsnce of new town centre. No coffee making facilities in room or shower cap. Staff fab u lous

An absolute gem in a historic town right down the hill from the castle and walking distance to everything. The warm welcome from Justine and family including Cookie the well behaved resident dog, was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. No request too big, every small detail handled with a smile. Breakfast was delicious. Terrace restaurant has such a lovely view at night. Beds comfy, rooms clean and reflect historical charm. I absolutely loved this inn and would go back in a heartbeat.

Great traditional hotel with very kind service in the center of Berate city

planned for a night to stay in Berat. falling in love with this lovely hotel, and decided to extend our stay for one more night. the structure itself is well thought through- from having terrace, a place for coffee (or for even work) making us feel like living in a traditional albanian home. rooms are clean and cozy, breakfast has a wide variety of options. staff are all very attentive and helpful. would definitely recommend to anyone.

A beautiful hotel run by friendly people.

Wow. Just wow, is all I can put everything in one simple word. This hotel and it’s beautiful hearted hosts really over met my expectations. Upon arriving to berat, I was really stressed not knowing where to park my massive rental car I was stuck with from an error by the rental company, however the owner of this hotel helped me out a ton and took my car and parked it safely and efficiently in their private back yard. This gave me a great peace of mind. Upon arriving to the hotel, our bags were immediately taken and we were offered a tasty welcome drink and sweet delicacy. It felt very welcoming for sure. The wife owner was very knowledgeable and gave us good insight and suggestions for our time in Albania and where and which order to go about our way. The room was very beautiful and very captivating giving us a different feeling like we were actually in a Balkan home in a different time. The back yard terrace area was very beautiful and relaxing. Perfect for pictures and fresh air. The breakfast was phenomenal and very generous. Fresh omelets upon request and a separate Buffett breakfast. Just really good. The gift shop is very nice too and we left with many souvenirs to bring back to Nyc. Final points, hotel and family pets, ziko and kuki were as welcoming as their owners. Very friendly pets. The host was very nice to give my girlfriend a parting gift. And I his was all in a one night stay. Thanks Hotel Mangalemi! Thank you for a great stay.

Such a beautiful hotel situated very close to main attractions. Artistic decorations inside that goes well with the traditional theme. The food was top notch especially, Tave Mangalemi and a nice lavish breakfast. Polite and sweet staff. Definitely recommended.

Excellent location below the castle, very clean rooms intertwined between modern and traditional, the staff was very attentive and friendly and OMG The breakfast choices were amazing! Very tasty traditional food and very fresh! If there was a 10 star rating, I would give it 10. I would recommend it to all my friends and we I will be back there again!

This was my second stay at Hotel Mangalemi. It is just the most perfect place to stay. We stay in the rooms across the street from the hotel. The room is pristine, and our balcony complete with a swinging chair was wonderful. I didn't want to leave. The staff and owners are so kind and friendly. they think of everything. This hotel stay was one of the best of my life. I can't wait to go back. It's just a gorgeous place and a pleasure to be there.The restaurant is also amazing and has a fantastic view. My server, Krizman was a delight! Dinner is delicious, and breakfast is plentiful!
