Really delicious traditional Albanian food, sarma/japrak was absolutely amazing, cold soup as well, we got nice toasted bread with cheese on top as a side. Not that easy to find because Google shows wrong location but there is a sign from the square/parking lot and it’s 30 metres up from that place. Really nice view on the old city from the restaurant which is on top of the floor. Definitely recommend!

Very good restaurant, not easy to find but it is worth! You get a stunning view over the city. Restaurant is at the top floor of a residential building. Very pleasant and nice service and food is good as well.

I visited this restaurant on my last day here in Berat and it was worth it! Food was great and at a good price, waiting times were quick and lots of choice on the menu! Wait staff also very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend! Located near the Orthodox Cathedral there is a lovely view of this from the restaurant.

Great budget friendly restaurant in Berat, not far from the Mangalem Quarter with an incredible view of the town. The menu is a mixture of pizza and traditional Albanian dishes and everything is prepared to order. I'd definitely go back!

We went for lunch and it was all very good. We ordered the lamb with yogurt and a pizza and it was all delicious. Prices are very low, and the service is excellent.

Friendly staff in a great environment with fantastic drinks and tasty meals - definitely would recommend the stuffed eggplants meal to try. Also, they have the restaurant with a fantastic view and a cozy bar on the 2nd floor. Would definitely choose this place again😊

The restaurant is very nice and not expensive. We had chicken with vegetables and meatballs with baked potatoes, both in a casserole type of a dish. The service is nice. Unfortunately it is not possible to pay by card – cash only. It is located on the 4th floor so you need to climb the stairs to get there.

Excellent family run, mother’s home cooked meals. Amazing vegetarian, delicious fresh meals served by very well experience Sergio our waiter. Speaks good English. Upstairs restaurant with views, What nice lovely place to eat.

Great food and amazing service! I love this place..if I had more time, I would’ve definitely came again. I ate the best stuffed peppers ever and kofta. Cannot get over this place and its food. Also the employees are super nice. I definitely recommend especially that it’s budget friendly ;)

I would totally recommend this place if you are in Berat! Good quality food, from traditional Albanian dishes to Italian ones. We had some doubts but the waiter recommended us some dishes to try and we liked everything. He suggested a mix of different Albanian pies and we loved all of them. Moreover the views of the restaurant are very nice!

From far the worst restaurant I have been in Berat! Food was nothing special but the problem was the waiter / owner... rude, not polite, antipatic and not working professionally! He threatened me even because i didnt want make accountancy of our bill separatly because we were a group of unknown people. Basically he was just a muscle guy without a brain and thought he was going to scare me! Very stupid dude, terrible experience.

Best place to eat in Berat. The view is amazing and the food is great. The waiter is extremly friendly and profesional. Strongly recommend the tarator (a cold yogurt and cucumber soup, the best we had in Albania).

Located on the fourth floor a block north of the main street, this family restaurant is a little hard to find. But you'll be rewarded if end up making this trip. Everything is perfect. I ordered the vegetable soup, chicken fillet in yogurt, homemade bread, and a drink. The total was only 900 Lek (8 eur). Service was top-notch too. No complaints here!

Nicee restaurant.Friendly staff.Very reasonable prices. The food could be even better.The bread came so toasted, that it could not be eaten.There was meat on the menu, but it was missing in the restaurant, so you only had to order pizza or traditional food.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Berat. Despite the Italian name, they sell authentic Albanian food and we truly loved it. The decoration is very cozy, the views are amazing and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are great. Overall, the service quality was great.

Brilliant host. Tasty and well prepared meals served here and at very reasonable prices. Friendly and professional family run business. I stayed there for two nights on my visit to Berat, perhaps one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The breakfast was huge and tasty. So much variety all freshly prepared. On my first night I ordered pizza as a takeaway. I wasn’t sure if I was in Berat or Sicilia or Napoli😀! It was really nice and hit every spot. I also had paid-for dinner here and it was tasty; Albanian cuisine. The view from the restaurant overlooking the surrounding area of Berat is cute. I can’t wait to go back to Piccolo Grand Amore.

Some dishes were good, some not really good. Okra with veal was delicious, lamb with yoghurt was good, meatballs were good, but for example pizza wasn't any good and pastichio was really bad (pasta with bechamel and too much of cheese). If you pick the right dish, you'll be satisfied, but choose wrong, you'll be disappointed.

Probably the best view in town, friendly service, great food with rich taste. You have to climb some stairs to get there, but it is a small price to pay. :)

Nice little restaurant in Berat, I liked it so much that I ate there twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. Linda and the guys working there were all very kind and helpful. During the day time the view is stunning.

Great food and amazing views - keep going up the steps, past the bar/cafe until you get to the restaurant at the very top. Strongly recommend the stuffed peppers, djath i bardhë i furrës and the Albanian Fërgesë! Very friendly woman serving the food. Lovely experience and a great place to grab a bite in Berat!

The food was amazing!! We got the stuffed eggplant, meatballs with potato and tave kosi. I would definitely recommend these dishes. And the staff was really nice.

Best lunch and dinner restaurant in town it’s family business so everything is home made super fresh super tasty we loved it. We had a lot of different food i will list a video below. The owner are supper nice and friendly the view over the city day and night is very nice. On top of all that we paid 20 euro and look at the food below (insane). You need to go up the stairs all the way to the roof the restaurant is there.

We came here at 9ish one night for some authentic Albanian food. We were delighted! Being gluten-free and vegetarian, restaurant life can sometimes be a bit awkward. No awkwardness at this place. The friendly staff recommended lots of local dishes for me and my partner and were knowledgeable about what was gluten-free and what was not. We had a delicious time here and can’t wait to come back again. Thank you, Piccolo Grande Amore, you made our evening with your wonderful food and service!

It's a nice restaurant with a terrace. Convenient to the new town of Berat where some hotels are located. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed the walnut raki and baklava, as well as the main course

The restaurant is located at the very top. You wouldn't say that at first, but inside it's really beautiful. Great view. The waiter was very, very nice. He offered us possibilities how to taste traditional Albanian dishes. He really paid attention to us. And I have to say - their homemade bread and fergese sauce is wow! Just perfect. I recommend stopping for a meal here.

We had the suggestion menu with traditional Albanian food and it was delicious. My friend eats meat, but I'm vegetarian so they made a menu that was 80% vegetarian and 20% meat. This was perfect! Also, the view on the city center is really nice since the restaurant is on top of a building.

Exceptional dining. The service is unbelievable. The owner/manager is incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Sergio's recommendations made our dining experience truly spectacular. Don't miss the baked cheddar, cold soup, pie, meatballs, snitzel and lamb are a must. A true hidden gem.
