The best stay I have ever experienced in France. Superb hosts, beautiful estate, and unimaginable experience. The castle is dotteed with art and statues, and each room themed with attention to detail. Couldn’t imagined having stayed anywhere else. The breakfast lives up to its reviews, truly delicious and sends you on your way with a belly full.

Owner was extremely not friendly . He said he was a heartspecialist that helped his wife running the hotel in Covid—19 time. The hotel stank . Room was not ckean . Windows could hardly be opened . House Really needs a maintanance job ... paint , badrooms etc . But most of all the room was dirty and everything smelled like chemicals . The man ( probably owner , had some drinks and was annoyed , he did not like foreigners I think ) . We left the next morning asap .

Clean and interesting inside - influences of old stately home and shabby chic restoration. Off-street parking on site. Generous breakfast. Needed to pay in cash, but that was easy enough to arrange. They promise a discount if you book direct!

I travelled to Le Castel des Anges in December with my partner and family and had the an incredible time. The rooms were beautiful, clean and warm; the beds very comfortable. The surrounding areas were equally stunning and it felt like a surreal experience. We had the pleasure of meeting Sandrine, who was a wonderful host and was very helpful when we asked for nearby markets to visit and especially for a great local restaurant, which Ms. Joly personally booked for us and which ended up being fantastic. If anyone is looking to travel by car to the Nord Pas de Calais region, don't miss this wonderful spot about an hour's drive from the Calais Port. Merci beaucoup!!

Sandrine and Dominique have created an excellent bed and breakfast chambre d'hote with large comfortable rooms, stylishly decorated and well maintained. The house itself resembles a Georgian mini stately home. The decor, as the name suggests is tastefully based on angels with fine furniture in all the rooms we have stayed in. The breakfast is excellent, based on home produced confectionery and breads. This was our fourth stay, usually we use the Castel as a stop-over but this time we stayed for six nights. Finally, a note on the owners, Sandrine and Dominique treat their guests as friends and make all welcome and at home. This place is a delightful find.

Overdecorated house and rooms. It is a bit more about quantity here than about quality. Very friendly host serves huge breakfast with Stabat Mater playing on the background. Friendly kitch!
